    Cool video Peter. Surfcasting is always allot of fun and enjoy it very much. Allot of shark species there so hopefully the tags provide some pretty cool info.

      cheers Daniel. yea hope those sharks will survive for the years to come and hope someone will follow the tag rule. haven't heard from any recapture from any of my sharks though

    Love your videos!! I recently got a surf rod rated for 2-6 oz weight, do you think thats a high enough rating for surf casting beaches with strong swell (eg 90 mile)? I don't really wanna push the rod by using 7 or 8 ounce sinkers haha

      thank you so much. I guess its worth trying as i've using light rated surfcasting rods in rough waters b4 and some days it was rough and some days i had surprising results

    Is Lee using the Assassin Bluefish 2 to 4oz?
    Can you cast 5 oz to 7 oz easy?

    • @BasicFishingNZ
      @BasicFishingNZ  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hes got the 3-5oz version. much stronger to cast. most guys i know use whole bullet tuna with 6oz on their 2-4oz models haha
