Hi Graham , man you have done it all regards fishing, have watched your films from the early days and brought all your books for my library. You have a vast wealth of knowledge from fishing all around the world. Thanks for sharing these amazing experiences and knowledge for experienced and novice anglers alike. Always amazed by your enthusiasm and perseverance and stamina, hell man how do you keep it up ! Keep going mate you inspire us all !
Top man lovely fire on the beach ok no fish so far but lovely eel nice one good video always with you again and good witing say no more never give up happy days
Graeme I've followed you now for many years my friend, your content your enthusiasm,is second to none, You strive to bring us amazing content, theres many many fishing channels out there but......none are half as good as making a brew feet up and watching yours,so many thanks for brightening the dullest of days my friend Your the best graeme and thank you again......👍👏👏👏😁😁
That's pretty much why I make the films, trying to put something back rather than be one taking out....I'm just off to get more old school footage at a vintage rally near Bristol. Bit of a drive but have to make use of the weather as all the shows finish around end of September.
So glad you had some fish..was a tough session but was made well worth it. Hooe you enjoyed ya scapi and chips and ya pint of beer weel diserved mate. All the best tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
Morning greame , its not often i get time to watch your videos because im always working , but when i do its always great content and very informative! Thankyou again 🙂
Well done Graeme. We know how you hate the cold! You showed the importance of bait and hook presentation in the winter. In low temperatures, everything cold blooded moves more slowly, predator and prey. Fish tend to bite more shyly as they don't have energy to engulf bait like they do in the summer.
Love getting down to the beach in winter and getting a fire going. Tending to a fire passes the time when waiting on a bite and keeps the hands going. Glad you caught something for your efforts, thanks Graeme you take care 👍🎣🎣
Just a thought Graham. Why not put on the outer limits of your fire--some chestnuts for your eating pleasure at regular intervals during the cold winter months and/or some small washed potatoes wrapped in silver foil and add a little bit of salted butter prior to eating. Back in my youth they were both so yummmmmmmie when fishing those cold winter months.
Lovely video Graeme , the picture quality and sound was awesome , nice to be fishing on the beach with no one in sight but there again it makes one wonder why , which in itself makes one doubtful.
We are just coming out of a really nice "Indian summer" of September,I think its changing tomorrow, sunny,no wind and not too hot. But its a long winter over here, not so much the ice and snow, just grey and windy.
I so enjoy your films Mr. G they are so full of info and are also relaxing and fun to watch. I am happy to say the shore fishing in the States is still pretty decent. I hate that the shore fishing in the UK is suffering so much. Do you know what is the primary cause? Overfishing or a change in the feeding?
It does seem to be mainly the South coast. Probably a good bit of overfishing, but also been a lot of habitat destruction from gravel extraction to prevent coastal erosion. I think the disturbed sediment sinks over, and smothers a lot of ecological sea floor life.Hence no fish, there is nothing to eat.
Looking forward to this. First pike session of the season today... total blank. One dropped run for four and a half hours fishing. Reservoir at summer levels so fishing in a spot I'd normally cast to.
You remember the days when we used to have BON FIRES Graeme, weren't they wonderful times ????? As kids we would pretend to send smoke signals branches full of leaves holding them on & off the fire making huge plumes of smoke lol. In those days the BON FIRE POLICE were my mother & older sister's as they complained as if we were trying to burn down the neighborhood lol. Mothers, can't live with them, can't bury them in the backyard lol hahahahaha.
hey! Travelling to the outer banks north carolina in a couple of weeks staying on the beach, be all night shark fishing , come on down! love your big game videos and would be epic to see more trip videos ... tight lines
morning, yes its paradise there for fisherman! ive bought a 10 weight fly set up to try that out in saltwater, hopefully get shark on it, (i will tag you in the photos ;-)) @@TAFishing
A great lesson for the younger viewers perseverance . Learn from Greame and you'll not got far wrong. Just found your film from 9 years ago about 6 gilled sharks, what a lump to land on rod and line truly fascinating.
That's a hell of a long drive for a sea fishing trip unless you and the family had other plans too! I'm a keen fisherman but not as keen as you. I admire your stamina.
Yes,I am aware having fractured a bone in my foot up at the lovely boulder strewn Lilstock !!..The older I get the more aware I try to be,but its difficult as my brain is 40 and my body 72 !!...Bit of a delay tramsmitting the information ...
I have them now after a suggestion from a couple of our Awesome Army followers. I look forward to using them coupled with heavy boot socks from Marks which I recently purchased at no small expence but which are really comfortable.
@@TAFishing You'll wish you'd have found them sooner! It was me that badgered you about them, and cost you an arm and a leg...Mrs P filling the trolley...
I would love to see you making a fire on the beach over here (bloody Belgium) . In 5 minutes time you would have the coppers behind you , 48 hours if you are a tourist 🙄🙄🤦♂🤦♂
I wonder if Brits mined all the sand out of their beaches years ago or was it that they got the blunt end of the stick & always had stoney beaches ????? Maybe that's just one of the many reasons why some Brits tend to moan about things ?????
I need to do more, but I see there are 2 Atlantic hurricanes coming our way as I track them on the Huricane centre site. I think we might get clipped by them in some form, and that will stunt my sea fishing for a while.
I don't do any social media,Mike runs that side ,but I couldn't help with the Swale I have never fished it. I think they used to have decent Barbel fishing in it.
I think you missed the point that it was a file film from last winter ?...Don't worry ,the title does say "Winter" fishing so its quite easy for you to miss if you don't even read the title. Best to read before hitting the keyboard.
@@TAFishing as I thought, old videos cos your not making any new ones. Well done for admitting that you are uploading old content. People on here want to know how the fishing is NOW not last year.

A man of taste, finishing the night with an olde speckled hen. Cheers Old Boy.
I agree, those hand warmers are excellent, I use one too. Great video once again Graeme.
Fantastic video! I'm new to your channel and feel like I'm watching the late Bruce Forsyth! 😉
Hot day in Sydney Aust so great to see a cold weather beach fishing trip. Bring on winter. That whiting was a beautiful looking fish.
Brilliant as usual! Caught three bass using your tips
Well done, I could do with 3 Bass at the moment. Maybe I should start reading my own tips.
@@TAFishing lovely fishing here in kings lynn and the wash right now. Smooth hounds being caught in the nene estuary
Thanks Graham, big fan of that coastline 👍🏼 appreciate your efforts 👍🏼👍🏼
I can only put the time in and try. If I lived near the sea it would be much easier.
@@TAFishing I feel your pain sir as I have to travel from Northamptonshire anytime I wish to fish the coast 🥲
used to fish here loads many years ago great winter spot used to have a great pub to warm up with a coffee just around the corner

Hope you enjoyed that beer and scampi Graham, definitely well earned after braving the cold, loved it.
I made one of Graham's pvc pipe rod holders for the beach. Good bit of kit!
Really enjoyed watching did very well

.....Luvly video as usual, Graeme, but,... what happened to the Eric Morecombe' leg-lift' cast???? I'm missing it!! :-)
I'm sure its still in there..Usually lumping out a 6/8 ounce lead causes the unusual scientific phenomemon..."Bring me sunshine......"
How do you stop wave movement moving the rod tips beginner here cheers guys
You can't stop it ,you just have to get experience at seeing the sharper movement of a bite.
@@TAFishing thanks, great channel
looks quite deep close in perfect for a sliding float, you can feed with a groundbait catapult, not everything is out long.
That's a hell of a long drive for a sea fishing trip unless you and the family had other plans too! I'm a keen fisherman but not as keen as you. I admire your stamina.
No family on that one...they stay tucked up at home,a long drive but that's just the way it is sometimes.
That last bite you had which was the dog fish? I think we're really nice to see.
Please be careful on the big stones. That's to everyone.
Thank you Mr Pullen.

I was there 10 days ago during the early September heatwave and all I caught was one tiny conger.
I hear the better Conger shore fishing starts about November, hence my attire.
With all those shy bites, it would have been a good time for your small stinger hooks.
That's probably true actually ,I must start using them more.
