I finally listened to this the other day and it's been one of my favorite releases so far this year! The sound is immense, powerful and relentless, then combined with CJ's ridiculous vocals, makes for an exhilarating ride. I wanna look more into CJ's "velociraptor" sounds when I have time. I'd say inner mouth and tongue position is key and it does sound like he is engaging a few separate parts of the vocal tract which is impressive. I've been able to replicate that sound a few times but I have no idea how I did it and every time its by accident. I also really liked the lyrics in this one, the metaphors are very broad. I'm pretty sure I understand exactly what he means and I can't say he's all that wrong. I refuse to hold the nihilistic perspective for myself though, but I definitely get it.
