Hiya, thank you! I was getting lost with just the Cooksongold online catalog, after this though I know just what to order & will be doing so in the next few days. By the by I love your laugh & smile...Stay safe...Steve...
Hi. I can get the QCX. Is there any drawbacks for choosing this one over the QC? I do not have a microscope. Is there. ny other advantages for the QCX besides working with a microscope?
The primary advantage of the QCX is that the work always stays centered no matter how you rotate or move the BenchMate. That is why the QCX is recommended for use with a microscope. The QC allows for more clearance and access to the work you are holding due to the connecting arm having a lower angle. Both offer a wide range of motion, adjustability, and the "drop and lock" QC fixtures.
Hello I am not able to find an installation guide for the adjustable height bracket. The screws don’t seem long enough to screw into the bench. Is it supposed to be mounted on something else before it is attached to the bench?
It is supposed to be mounted onto a Fixed Mounting Plate. The Adjustable Height Bracket has black "beveled retaining blocks" affixed to the back, so it can easily slide on and off the Fixed Mounting Plate. If you purchased a Benchmate, a Fixed Mounting Plate should have been included. So, you would screw a Fixed Mounting Plate onto your bench, slide the Adjustable Height Bracket onto the Fixed Mounting Plate, then you can attach your second Fixed Mounting Plate to the front of the Adjustable Height Bracket.
The monarch handpiece should be able to handle this- You would just need beading tools and 1/8 QC tool holders to fit into the handpiece. You may need to turn down the strokes per minute
Excellent video! Thank you!

I bought the vertical holder, the screw on top came insanely tight and stuck, is there a trick to taking this apart or unscrewing it? Please help
