Let's make a new run with that iconic Mefjus style neuro bass in Serum and Ableton Live 10. This is some awsome yet simple neuro bass but people found hard to follow that tutorial so I decided to remake it.

It got me to experiment, and I gotta say, if you even wanna try to tackle those newer disciple round table basses, that would be insane. I have no idea how they get such a loud sound (take Beutnoise's Kong EP for example!). Take care and good luck

Hi Dan! I have a question. I followed the tutorialand on the compressor i've put the same values as yours, but the sound becomes very low. Can you explain me why?
Probably because of the treshold level. Plz check it and the main output volume!
I followed your tutorial half way through step by step and I have a completely different sound, I went through every single button setting and it's just a regular beep. What i make wrong?

what effects do you use outside of serum on this bass ?
Bro it is very unimportant. A slight multiband compression, an EQ to decrease top frequency gain (that are boosted by the MB compression) and a saturator acting as a limiter basically. So these effects don't change the sound, more like just "limit" it.

I have an Access Virus B (only just got)... purchased it for psytrance and understand that the psy bass is all about aligning oscillator phases to get phatness... very much look forward to trying to nail the Neuro sound cheers !!

this is not mefjus style it is more of a 16 bit dinosaur style bass

I would appreciate less self-promotion scattered around. I think it's best to put these things at the end so only people who actually have a chance of being interested will watch it, and others can easily skip it. At least that's what I do in my vidoes.
