- Join us on an unforgettable journey as we explore the island known as Paradise, K'gari, formerly known as Fraser Island. In June 2023, we spent six amazing days on the island and have compiled all the best parts into a long movie to showcase everything the island has to offer!
Our adventure begins by boarding the beach barge at Inskip Point, gracefully gliding across the waters to reach the island. We quickly make our way to zone 7 on the eastern beach where we set up camp. As the sun rises the following morning, we awake with anticipation, ready to embrace the day ahead. With a sense of tranquillity enveloping us, we venture forth, embracing the untouched beauty of Eli Creek's crystalline waters.
We'll tackle Ngkala Rocks sandy By-Pass track, explore Red Canyon, The Pinnacles, and the Shipwrecked Maheno, and take a dip in the crystal clear waters of Lake Mackenzie. And head through the inland tracks to the best campsite on Fraser Island the Western Beach Camp at Woralie Creek.

WHO ARE WE:
We're Grant and Bianca - two travel enthusiasts who have been exploring and camping across Australia since 2017. Our dream was to caravan around Australia, and when Bianca was made redundant, we saw that as the perfect opportunity to pursue our dream.
In March 2021, we hit the road in our Ford F350 American 4x4 Truck, towing our 2003 Bushtracker Off-Road Caravan with our 2 Dogs Frank and Baxter.
After a year on the road, we realized that caravan life and road tripping were in our blood, and we decided to continue with our journey. We started this channel to document our travels and share the amazing places we've discovered, and the tips we've learned along the way, including the delicious meals we cook on the road, whether in the caravan or over a campfire.

This episode has been very good reminds us of all the time we camped up Teewah beach near Noosa Heads and Fraser we fished those beaches every weekend in Winter months caught some beautiful fish We would declare Monday a holiday when our children at school worked for ourselves so free was wonderful life

Brought back some good memories. Such a beautiful place. Guess what - We were on K’gari on 2nd June, 2023. We were Some of those on a day tripping blue bus! - not the slim trim ones😂. We loved our day but in the back of the bus we were glad to finish driving - pretty bumpy. Beautiful videoing 😊

A fantastic feature length edition of a fantastic place. You certainly had a great time there. It is amazing that Maxtrax only get heavy when you have to retrieve them 🤣. Shame about the lack of fish, but that’s how it goes sometimes (or all the times for us 😒). Keep up the great videos.

You will have to head back with the van so we can see the big rig drag it up the beach
I’m not sure if I’d go with the van, I guess you’d be more restricted to where you can stay and you’d do a lot more driving to get to and from camp each day.

Hi David, we had a dry bag with us, the green bag Grant had. It had our phones , clothes and keys in it
When you were on the west coast you said you would stay another night. How did you go about changing your bookings?
We had Starlink with us, so I was able to get online and book it
is a week long enough? Best times to visit ??
We went first week of winter, so not peak period but I get the feeling it’s always pretty busy, for that reason I’d stay away during school holidays and summer time when it’s too hot anyway.
You can do it all in a week, but depending on your setup, you are better slowing down and spending a bit longer as we didn’t get to see everything.
the maheno is more beautiful as she ages i will miss her but there are more natural ships going down to meet davy jonses locker creating more wrecks...
there is only a finite of money in the world if you believe in this ideology remember thatif we get the best fish finders in the wholev world we wuill soon run out of fish.....
fraser is a classical gas just keep rolling and fishing and bullshitting along the tracks foodd tastes better when youre hungry god gave the cane toads fraser and they stole the cockroaches sand from NSW a million years ago

May want to google the origins of “Trevor” it’s not Australian
