They always serve the song. The song is the center and not individuals. No other band like them IMHO.

Be sure to check out their official live videos of Domination, Play!, Moratorium...to start. Band-Maid is best enjoyed live whenever possible. If you prefer music videos, I recommend Shambles, Blooming and Influencer. Their catalogue is quite extensive, their sound is dynamic and yet uniquely Band-Maid. It is almost criminal that they are overlooked by so many simply because of their appearance. They are the most underrated band on the planet. I am looking forward to seeing more Band-Maid reactions going forward. Cheers!
Nice reaction, glad you liked our maids. They have a very deep catalogue of over 120 songs and you can't go wrong with any of them, live is best but their MV's are also excellent. There are 3 other songs from this show available, Unleash!!!!! which is the most agressive, Don't You Tell Me which is one of their older songs and also features a 'duel' and then Endless Story which was the emotional finale to this concert. Puzzle , Domination, Freedom, Manners/Black Hole and many others are also available from other concerts.They cover all genres of rock from ballads to hard rock and just plain crazy plus acoustic versions and their alter ego Band Maiko which is a different experience entirely.

Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

Oh my gosh, you have opened the floodgates. Why do you love this? Because they may be the best rock group in the world today (I think they are). They are certainly the most creative band since the Beatles.
Yes, I stand by that statement! I saw many of the classic rock bands - Purple, Zeppelin, Queen, Santana, many more, all in their heyday. I’ve seen Band-maid three times and their performances stand up to any of those legendary bands.
You are going to get a lot of suggestions. First, a little background on the band:
Saiki Atsumi - Lead vocals Born Feb 8, 1994
MISA - Bass Born Oct 15, 1992
Kanami Tono - Lead guitar, Main composer and arranger Born Sept 28, 1991
Miku Kobato - Rhythm guitar, backing vocal Born Oct 21, 1991
Akane Hirose - Drums Born Dec 14, 1990
Miku was working in a Maid Café after being in an idol group that didn’t break through. She envisoned the idea of a maid-band that plays hard rock and metal. She recruited Kanami, after finding a Kanami guitar cover on line; Kanami then recruited Akane, who recruited MISA. Akane and MISA had been students together at the Tokyo Music Academy. The group decided they needed more vocal “oomph”, and collectively recruited Saiki. Miku didn't know how to play guitar when they started, so Kanami has been teaching her. She's become good so fast that she is really adding to the music mix, and Maidiacs are daring to dream of a dual shred.
The band was struggling early on, and in 2014, even as the label was considering dropping them, they posted the music video for “Thrill” which went viral globally. When they realized what was going on, it gave them the momentum to forge ahead, and they have now done multiple tours of Europe and the U.S. and are building a global fanbase who call themselves the Maidiacs.
They have released seven full albums, as well as several EPs, singles and music videos. They have put out around 170 songs, covering a wide variety of styles and sounds, without any duds. They combine a punk vibe with instrumental virtuosity (two things that are often seen as being incompatible), and have done some amazing progressive-rock songs with a metal edge to them.
They toured the U.S. in 2022 and sold out 14 cities in less than 48 hours. They followed it up with a 2023 tour which had to be expanded from their original plans. Their fan base skews heavily to actual practicing musicians. Some of those followed the band to multiple dates and documented everything on youtube-some of the footage is hilarious.
I’ve seen them in 2019, 2022 and 2023. Their shows are truly life-reaffirming. So far no announcements of another European tour but it seems likely in 2024.
Band-Maid are that rare band that sound perfect live, even better than in the studio. Everything they have posted from their 10thAnniversary concert in Yokohama is absolute fire-I have bought the DVD and recommend you do too. 33 songs, 3 hours of insanity.

Fui al de Band Maid en Pabellon Oeste y si bien había una gran asistencia lleno no estaba. No dejes que tus gustos musicales hagan demeritar a otra banda que esta haciendo bien las cosas también. A Band Maid le falta un impulso en Latinoamerica y esta es buena opción, estoy de acuerdo contigo que Band Maid son mejores técnicamente por mucho 👍
@@diegorbass3144La industria musical en Japón es una de las mejores en el mundo, en la cual la mayoría de los artistas no les importa la internacionalización, hacen giras para agradecer a sus fans, no les importa el lugar sea chico o grande, ya que grupos importantes aún siguen tocando en lugares pequeños como muestra de agradecimiento, es totalmente diferente que en América. No fueron llenos totales, su mercadotecnia es muy buena, solo eso, hasta el final estuvieron regalando pases dobles, es una banda en crecimiento, pero no es lo que sus seguidores quieren aparentar. En un reportaje salió y con imágenes que no llenaron como dicen, siempre dicen los mismo con los artistas llenos totales y la realidad es otra.
Puzzle es un tema que como vocalista te va a encantar!

While, for the most part, I find J-Rock, J-Metal and K-Pop - I think you'd really like Stray Kids and Blackpink, for example - to be the torch carriers, there are still plenty of other bands and groups doing great work in other parts of the world.
I expect you know "The Warning", but a couple of other examples are 'Greta Van Fleet' - who are reminiscent of Led Zep' and Robert Plant, and 'The Hu'.

Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Band-Maid is one of the best bands in our country, especially in live performance. We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". That feature is very different from other Asian countries.
Miku the rhythm guitarist/singer started the band in 2013. They played in Mexico City last year as part of their 10 anniversary tour.
The drummer is Akane Hirose, the lead singer Saiki Atsume, the bass player is Misa the barefoot assassin and the music composer and lead guitarist is Kanami Tono.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. First of all, please know that this video is live. Band Maid has not had any member changes in the 10 years since its formation. As a lead guitarist, she has composed over 130 songs, and there are no bad ones. She plays the side guitar and writes the lyrics for almost all of the songs. As you can see, this group's bass, drum, and lead guitar techniques are world-class. Both the singer and the chorus are wonderful. This group is currently one of the top rock groups in the world.
