He may no longer be universally adored by all Raps fans, but he has my respect. He always seems like a class act. And Koho banking? Do they still do hockey gear? Lol
I'm afraid this is mostly Masai blowing smoke. I've no doubt in anything particular he said but there is one fact he can't escape and that is the most successful rebuilds involved hording multiple 1st round picks over several years. The Raptors simply didn't get nearly enough of those when they traded their remaining talent. You get a sobering view if you check the very small number of teams with multiple picks over these next several years. Finding a hidden gem here and there simply isn't enough or hitting on Flag isn't going to be more than a small boost. The current core has too many deficient defenders so even if they eventually get cooking offensively they'll be giving back those points on the other end. Teams simply need high end athletes to compete, that fact has always been the case. Four firsts in the next three years isn't enough. I sure hope Masai can find the magic beans or a desperate owner/GM to sell both RJ and Quickley to for a stock of 1st round picks. I'm only concerned that Scottie's extension is up by that time or Scotti's patience hasn't evaporated by the time they are relevant again.
So ujiri now on record …”I never did this b4”…so we the (fans) don’t know how many years this unplanned rebuilt will take…bro this might be a 10 year lay away plan….lol
It's a lottery nothing is guaranteed. Getting a top 5 Pick doesn't mean the team doesn't mean your going to starting winning again fans need to get that in there head. I personally don't care where we pick.
nah bbq overated. we dont even know if rj or quickly gonna be here long term. if they can become good defenders, raptors will never win a championship with 2 defensive liabilities on starting unit, and 3 defensive liabilities if gradey starting. thats like having 3 deangelo russels on the team to hunt for easy buckets cuz they cant guard their own shadow.
Somewhat promising outlook, but for all of the "career years" that players are having, you still have a weak team. You also have to face the reality that Toronto threw All-Star money at Barnes and Quickley, who in my mind are not All-Stars. As for the losing, that's a net win in terms of the draft. What fans want, however, is consistent COMPETING. After the deadline, I sure hope Mogbo and Walter get more minutes. I honestly don't care what the Starting Five is capable of at this point. It's way more important to develop the rookies.
Raptors are a mess.. They take the fans for granted. FANS SHOULD STAY HOME SEND them a real message. Without the fans they are nothing. WE THE NORTH FANS PLEASE STAND UP..WE DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS. Masia mess up the tear Down Now he expects us to be part of a rebuild. PAYING GUYS LIKE Barnes and Quickly all tht money for a real built.. who is Masai trying to fool? Shame on them
@@kimberlys3945 The team is mid-decent. The coach is ass- not a winner, doesn't motivate. Raps will finish bottom 4 but will likely not move in the draft. If anything they'll crop a spot or 4.

Need to trade for a good centre. Nurkic has fallen out of favour with Phoenix and maybe could be had for a decent trade pkg, ie Olynk, a 2nd rd pick or 2 and maybe another minor player, depending on how salaries matchup. Should maybe go all in and try to get Fox or Monk, to properly lead your offense. Seems like Raps are content to do little to nothing at another trade deadline. Couldve got a 1st for Brown last yr. Raps are kings of wasting time. But i do love my raps. Just dying for some trades to get rid of guys like Olynk and Brown, that would fit better on other teams. Smh.
You said good Centre then followed up with Nurkic?? Good lord no.. that's just wild to utter but then you proposed a trade where we give up assets for a guy who hasn't been good since his injury 5 yrs ago. As for Fox, you would be speeding up the timeline.. that would quite literally destroy this franchise. You don't rush to rebuild process, quick way to become the Knicks of old or the Kings of current day. Hard no thanks on that. If you give up what tiny amount of depth we have now and future picks to rebuild said depth, how on earth you putting players around Scottie and Fox? You want to run Scottie, Fox and Poeltl with GLeaguers? In 2 yrs, when we have depth and some high end talent in the door. Then and only maybe then we cash in for some talent. I am glad the Raps content on not making franchise ruining trades. As for being sellers, how do you know we not going to be sellers? Still 3 weeks left and Olynyk been putrid out there.
