Great performance. This band better not be doing mid-day 3rd rate band slots in these festivals anymore. They are headliner material and deserve that respect. Can't wait for concerts to start up again.
Especially now that they upgraded their stage production gear with those huge screens. I think a big part of that was to help them negotiate better slots.
This. Jinjer has absolutely blasted the roof off a tiny gig I caught them playing in Montreal. They were in such good form! It was right before Macro had dropped, and they gave us a lil taste. I'd buy tickets every time they're close by now. Every. Time.
Awesome song! And this performance is a blast to watch, the last part of the song shines even more. The sound may not be super, but it´s still good enough to enjoy. Great one!
Those who constantly complain about the audio quality of this video can stop complaining: a video with good audio from the Melbourne concert is out now.
Awesome reaction again, but how can you not love Jinjer? Quick thing about having a second guitarist. They asked Eugene about that and he said, they would love to have a second guitarist, but he felt that they have such an insane touring schedule, that it would take someone so dedicated like the rest of the band and get along so well with them to make it work, and he wasn't so sure he could find someone like that. So rather then finding someone and then replacing the second guitarist every couple of years, they'll just stick to being a four piece band, but he did say maybe in the future they might add a second guitarist if it fits and works perfectly for the band. Peace and as always, Stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶
@@PeerlessRecordings Oh just a quick fact I forgot to mention. Jinjer started off as a 5 piece band. The second guitarist name was Dmitry Oksen. He was actually one of the founding members of Jinjer. He left the band to pursue an acting career. After he left, they never replaced him and kept Roman as a single guitarist. If you react to their older stuff like Scissors, Outlander (I think you reacted to that one) or my favorite "older" Jinjer song No Hoard of Value, he's on those tracks. Anyhow, I hope this also explains a little more about Roman being the only guitarist. Peace and as always, Stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶
So right about Roman very underrated.Bty just when you were commenting on cramps was when Tatiana let out that high belt.Perfect timing when she flicked her eye open
Apparently, they couldn’t find the right person to fit a jam packed touring schedule that could offer what they needed out of that person that would also need to fit the band.
@@PeerlessRecordings Yes...reminded me, they HAD two early on! Well, must be soembody else!? Or they might feel so tight, they dont want or dare to try somebody else
Another band you might want to check out is Ningen Isu, a Japanese band that does not have reactors getting blocked on TH-cam - and there is a rabbit hole that will draw more fans to your channel, as they are a huge recent break-out like Jinjer. They formed in '87 and are considered to be Japan's Black Sabbath (I've also seen them described as Jap Sabbath). Ningen Isu (pronounced with a hard g like gun) is a power trio that produces literature-based rock and metal, including some based on HP Lovecraft. There are several I would recommend to start with, in no particular order - Heartless Scat (a nice long song at 8 1/2 minutes), Namahage (very good and a bit dark), Life for Sale (video has a 70+ year old dancer who has some sick moves), The Colour out of Space (Lovecraft), At the Mountains of Madness live (also Lovecraft, and the guitarist also plays the theremin during the show, switching easily between the 2 instruments)... these songs are in Japanese but have English subtitles. There are a some more I can name off the top of my head like Caterpillar and Ghost Train, but I don't remember if they have subtitles or not. Ningen Isu have about 20 albums under their belts, so there is no lack of content to check out. Love your Jinjer reactions, subbed for sure! Stay safe!!!
Oh, also might want to check out The Hu, a Mongolian folk rock/metal band that is blowing up. There is Wolf Totem, Yuve Yuve Yu, The Great Chinggis Khan, Sugaan Essena (from EA's Jedi Fallen Order video game)... really anything from their break-out album The Gereg. The deluxe version has some collaborations with western artists too, I would recommend trying the videos for Wolf Totem with Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach and Song of Women with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm. Best of luck on your TH-cam journey!
Hi, it's me again... if something a little crunchier is your bag, you can try Maori metal - band called Alien Weaponry. Pretty damned young (well, to me) but very talented. Would recommend Kai Tangata first. Most excellent video. th-cam.com/video/5kwIkF6LFDc/w-d-xo.html like Jinjer, also Napalm Records. They have some good things going on there.
SO SO SO SO GOOD!
It really is, isn't it?

It would push them to the absolute ELITE

I always wondered why they dont have a second guitarist
