- I went thrifting with my DIL Taylor at an absolutely BRILLIANT Goodwill in Denver. It was packed with people and we barely made a dent. We tried not to disturb the other shoppers. ☺️ She bought a whole shopping cart full of stuff for under $60!

I like all of Linda's videos; but I love her thrifting videos. I have been shopping at thrift stores for forty years (I am 62) and have passed on my habit to both my daughters. It is only recently that I discovered the fun jewelry that is available at thrift stores. Ironically, I was inspired to look because of all the cool/cute jewelry Linda wears and shows in her fashion epilogues.
Is that nice when mother-in-law and daughter-in-law have so much fun together.
I love thrift and antique store shopping! Oddly enough, my best find was in Oklahoma City. My husband was doing classes at the Postal Training Center in Norman years ago, and I tagged along. In afternoons and evenings we would venture out to the local antique stores. One day we walked into a store (I don’t remember the name but when we went back several years later the store was gone), and I saw something across the room that made my eyes go 😍😍😍⭐️⭐️⭐️. It was a gorgeous bust of the Madonna, sitting next to a bust of Jesus, which was sold. I was told they both came from a church in Belgium. When I got closer, it had a hold sign on it. I immediately asked the employee there about the hold sign, and how definite was the hold. She said it was almost certain. I left my number and told her I was leaving to go home the next day, and if the sale fell through, to call me. The next day we were all packed up, and getting ready to load the car when my phone rang. It was the store & the bust was available! We threw everything in the car, and raced to the store to get there before it closed. Today Mary sits on top of a bookshelf, looking out the front window of my home in north Alabama, where I can see her as soon as I pull into the driveway. She is highly coveted by several of my friends now! None of us are religious at all, but we love her dearly.

I live in Denver! I love our Goodwill stores. They are the best! First place I looks for anything.
That is a beautiful Goodwill store. Looks almost like a department store. Items are so nicely arranged. Makes me want to go Goodwill "hunting".

That was the neatest, best organized Goodwill I've ever seen - around my house the Goodwill stores are just kinda thrown together and unkempt ... y'all found some great finds and now my thrifting juices are flowing - perhaps tomorrow I'll take a wee bit of a road trip ????

My son is a big Thrifter I have three granddaughters and he takes them with him and they absolutely love it my oldest is eight and she is addicted to thrifting it’s so funny and my son has showed them how to resell as well. Little entrepreneurs

I went to my Goodwill today not as nice as Denver, but they had exactly what I needed. A glass insert for a wicker vase that I found at Target!
You have amazing Goodwill locations where you live! I live in New York and our stores are NOTHING like this!! We don't have nearly the same amount of clothes selections, let alone anything that is up to date, colorful or modern., It's mostly stuff people find in their grandparents houses after they pass. I am so jealous of what you both found!

It's used to be a furniture store (or a leather store) I forget which...it's been a Goodwill for a really long time now though! It has great high ceilings and hardwood floors!

My daughter lives in Boulder & I can’t tell you how awesome the Goodwill & Habitat are around the area. I’m blown away with the quality of items vs what seems to be here in GA.

I watch a TH-cam reseller from Colorado Springs. She shops in good will stores and sometimes in Denver. It’s fun to see different Good Will stores in different areas to see how different they are in inventory and pricing.

I love this! I went to Good Will yesterday. Mine isn’t half as nice as that one but still a fun afternoon! I agree with you about the glasses, I have picked up quite a collection of cut glass wine, brandy and Pilsner glasses! I love them my mother had a collection when I was very young that I remember well! One day I noticed they were no longer displayed and when I asked my day about them he said she sold them when they were having some hard times! She also wore an amazing Victorian pink, yellow, white and green gold wedding band with rubies that I know own and love that she purchase at an auction in NYC! Such good memories! Thanks for sharing❤️

I had never been to Goodwill until toward the end of the pandemic but I needed to get out of the house and I found a pair of heavy verdigris candle holders which I have on my mantle and I love them. I haven't thrifted for clothes before but after seeing your "treasure" clothing items. I'm definitely going to start checking the clothing isles.

I’ve been purchasing lately,a lot of glassware and stoneware.
But,the glassware is fascinating!
I purchase these old bottles,wine bottles,beer bottles,the bottles with the marble in them,and they are from the 19th,18th,and 17th centuries.
They are found with the tops broken off,so they are cut down and polished on the rim,and made into various sized drinking glasses!
Usually embossed with old writing like “R. White &Co.”,thinks like that.
Fascinating conversation pieces for lemonades,beer,sodas,or just water.
NOT dishwasher save,as these old bottles have many air bubble inclusions,and would pop!
They are incredible.

No, just the best Goodwill in Denver! There is a Goodwill boutique store not too far from this though.

Favourite thrifted item?……well I’ve been seriously ‘charity shopping’ (as we call it here in the U.K.) for about 25 years so most of my house, clothes, daughters clothes etc are thrifted. But I suppose my solid wood dining table and chairs and sideboard that would’ve costs thousands are probably my favourite things along with a large selection of heavy lead crystal table lamps with pleated silk shades. Love going thrifting! 😂💚🧡
