I saw a lot of people asking for invites on my last video, make sure to include your steam friend ID so people can actually add you as friends to invite you! Generally, this thread www.reddit.com/r/DeadlockTheGame/comments/1f0e1bo/megathread_ask_for_invites_to_the_playtest_here/ as well as twitch streams are good places to ask if you want an invite quickly.
@@mechanicalsilence1 Yes, and yes. If someone you know has the game, they can open it and invite you through the main menu. You just have to be Steam friends. It usually takes a few hours for the invite to go through.
Great video! Will try them in my games! Top 7: 1: McGinnis 2: Abrams 3: Seven 4: Wraith 5: Haze 6: Mo & Krill 7: Bebop Didn't make the list but still good: Warden, Infernus, Lash, Vindicta & Grey Talon
In my (low MMR) experience Seven's ult is best used in patron pushes and defense, in trying to steal/deny the rejuv from enemy team that's fighting mid-boss, and if there's any teammates that are good at stunning or bringing enemies towards you All of these have something in common, the enemies are too busy dealing with something else to focus fire/debuff you while you're ulting and that there's not as much cover they can utilize
Bebop is one of the worst heroes to lasthit with if you dont ADS! - But one of if not the best to lasthit if you do ADS, maybe you can pin that comment or edit your video with a text on the bottom saying use ADS for no chargeup time! if that‘s a possibility
For Haze, building Fire Rate is the best way to improve her gun damage. A majority of her damage comes from those "Fixation" stacks that cause more damage, and that damage added by fixation is effected by Weapon Damage % buffs.
I would argue that Seven's ult is easy to deal with for one major factor. He can't move while casting it and it cant go through walls. There are several areas to hide behind to ignore the attack, but what makes seven's ult so scary is the area denial by doing so much raw damage.
People aren't buying enough antiheal in this game because it's too new. If Seven is the specific problem in your team, buy spirit armor and get multiple anti healing items on the team. Any character with a ton of burst can kill him in his ult if his defenses aren't too high yet. The avg Seven player will just build full damage and get defenses later on.
I would probably recommend Haze (unless you want to long range snipe, then Vindicta/Grey Talon). She has some of the best DPS in the game, but different from other carries, she can also gank and snowball from that extremely quickly. The others can do it too, just not as effectively and frequently.
Sad to see Kelvin didn't make it on the list. I think he's very new player friendly as he hardly requires any shooting at all. You get a large aoe with the grenade, a easy to use beam that his multiple targets (and even chains to others later) and a really safe escape & engage tool with it's ice path. The ult can be used both defensively to regen health or offensively to lock enemies in.
ice path is not safe at all, pretty easy for them to follow you. beam is a double edge sword bec you are slowed and easy target, grenade is ok but nothing special. it is very easy for new players to fuck his ulti up and block out his team from enemy etc.
He's misleading to new players because he seems straightforward but is bad for them. He's bad at farming when you're new to most of the mechanics and new players with him might play super aggressive then wonder why they always fall off despite seeming to do well at the start. Or else they'll realize they're always behind in farm with him and play someone else. If he had better aoe for helping with farm early or a rapidly firing gun he'd be a better choice for new players.
Kelvin's ult is not the easiest to use in my opinion. You can easily kill yourself if you using it wrongly. (trapping to many enemies and they will just shredding you)
I think Kelvin is very fun, but there are multiple factors that in my opinion make him not as great for beginners: His power curve is awkward to get used and you need to learn how to capitalize off the early pressure. His ult can be gamechanging, but that goes both ways. It's easy to mess up things for your team as well. Last but not least, I find the Ice Path fairly difficult to use effectively compared to other escapes. That said, if he immediately clicks with you, then of course he can be a great choice!
Why do you guys create "beginners" guides, but then use all the shorthand jargon that someone who has never played a MOBA has no idea what they mean. What the hell is sustain, what is split lane, etc. Just use normal words ffs, if this is aimed at beginners.
Hey man, good video! One tip fir bebops attack windup is that if you right click to zoom in you actually dont have a windup for your gun! This helps with the last hit problem you mentioned

How does that work ? You need to get invited to access the game ? Can anyone who has the game invite other people ?

Everytime I find a new game that i like Duke has tips for it. Keep up the great work man!

note to beebop his primary fire is not that bad you can aim and it doesn't reset the cooldown
if you ads first on bebop the spin up is much faster
ADS lets you hold the spin up time even if you click left click! It's awesome

My fav smite youtuber right here even if you have left it a long time ago

As a former mei player - mcginnis might be the move. V helpful vid🍻
Dawg, after trying all the "Heroes" I picked McGinnis as a higher priority character

Once you know how it works, it becomes a lot easier to deal with. But the players you're facing as a beginner won't know that!

I am a pretty experienced shooter / MOBA player. Who would you consider the best DPS character for someone with good aim / game sense?
Grey Talon and Vindicta are EZ
I would call myself that as well and i love Inferno, 32/6 game was my best game so far in 4 days

How does matchmaking work in this game right now? I feel like I’m constantly playing against experienced players.
Bebop is not a spirit based character. He’s mostly played for his insane m1 dps.

shooting is totally required considering grenade is much better used for healing yourself and teammates rather than doing damage

Bebop's gun has no delay if you ADS
