This is what happens when a parent caters to every whim of a child. Pamper your children, but love does not mean crippling them. Parents, early on, owe it to their children to help them become responsible and self-reliant. It can only happen when adults don't give up their parental authority and hold their children accountable. In the absence of discipline, proper training, accountability, developing self-reliance and instilling a sense of responsibility, the children grow up into dysfunctional adults. Consequently, they become lousy mates, partners, spouses, and, yes, lousy parents. If you cannot raise your children properly, do yourself and them plys the society a huge favor: don't have any children.
