I didn't really have a plan until episode 3 to be honest. I had no idea where that scary bridge was going to lead. So they will probably never connect again.
Alright good to know. Also can that gun shoot portals? Or is it a hand Held version of the high energy pellet launcher?

It's not a portal gun I think it makes Aperature Science high energy pellets but handheld.

a name it could possibly have is the aperture science mobile energy pellet emiter or emeter how ever its spelled
it must be so scary to be a testsubject outside the chambers.
the system is primed to terminate subjects outside chambers, so every step yould be your last...
not to speak how the entire facility seems to be alive. a super organism..
This series is really cool, I love how distinct it feels from Aperture in the games
it leans more towards the vibes of the first game in my opinion pushing the mild horror aspects to an extreme

@@LaserCasserole the thing about the old camcorder filter and the 4:3 aspect ratio is that it’s supposed to be camcorder footage, but the camera here is located at the characters own perspective. I absolutely love this video, but thats my only real gripe.
@@fakeverified Yeah I guess the camera made sense until he picked up the gun in episode 4 because you cant really hold a camera and a gun at the same time so it appears to be more of a head mount. I honestly like it better this way though because if I was really trying to make it 100% realistic he would've left the camera behind in episode 4 so he could pick up the gun. I'm not even sure if him holding a camera is canon. This is just a much easier story to tell in first person and looks much better with a vhs filter.

Portal already feels so liminal and scary, this series looks like an enhancement to it. Really good work!
I have a question. What are the the "portal" gun welding robots? They seem to be modelled after atlas. So how or whatever is in control. Seems to have made use of the co op bots but one question remains. If the bots that Hunt the person are modelled of atlas. Then what happened to pebody?
I think these questions will be answered in time.

just binged this and the panels series. love your work so much. i would love to make some portal maps inspired by it but i don't think it would be the same without the energy pellet gun (and i don't know weapon code lol)
Thank you! That would be so cool. I don’t know anything about portal map making but I bet you could figure it out. I think there was a map that let you shoot pellets out of a cube but I don’t know what it was called. If you do end up making some maps, send them to me and I’ll play them!

This all makes sense, once Glados got killed by chell the facility ended up being in something like an emergency mode because glados knew if she died the combine would invade and the turrets wouldn’t be enough to protect the portal technology, so she made those robots to defend the facility.
I want the next step to be the character finding and destroying holographic meatloaf.

ok ive watched the whole series and from what i gather is test subject or worker witch i refer to for simplicity as subject got into a wing of aperture that we dont se in games that was testing a portal gun type of device made to be a wepon idk if it has a cononic name so ill call it A.S.M.E.P.E. the wepon appears to be built with a fourth prong for catching and what can be differed if the pellets it emits is anything like the ones from the game charge the pellets subject may have been brought there on porpuse as a testing initiative gone wrong and in escape it appears that the only way on record that can kill the bot that was agrovated from subjects attack is from a crusher it appears that the red and black panels which were not opened for the bot are more heavy duty than the ehite and blue ofc it could just be lighting causing the dark color and the panels in the wing thats developing the wepons could also be white for all we know the areas dark so all i know is the light color for the panels that being said it appears the panels in this area of aperture are noticably tuffer to destroy and less likely to be pried open like the panels from the wings that develope portal guns as the portal guns are usualy tested by humans which would explain why the robot was able to open them with its bare hands as its stronger than a human so it was able to easliy open it at the end it appears there are more though meaning maybe this found footage isnt over yet

At first I thought this was a backrooms video. Really excited to see some old Aperture Footage. It never occurred to me that they would have head mounted cameras in some of the tests.

i think that old aperture is a pretty good way to use the vhs theme since it does work in the timeline. imagine if we could see glados being made
