I never knew about an officer “last call” until it was done yesterday after the memorial service of fallen officer Terrence Carraway of the Florence, SC police department. He too served 30 years and was a pillar in the Darlington and Florence county community as mentor to the youth. He was on the job doing what he loved (protecting and serving his community) when he lost his life on 10/3/2018. It was so sad to hear the dispatcher call his badge and then say no response. To this officer, God bless you, thank you for your service and enjoy your retirement... You’ve earned it!!💙
