I have hated Keemstar since the TotalBiscuit thing. TB was one of my favourite TH-camrs. The whole thing was heart breaking.
I had a panic attack during my engineering thesis. I didn't know what it was, it felt like a heart attack and my heart was racing and I couldn't breathe. It wasn't a call for attention, I told nobody, I went to the doctor who told me my 80 to 90 hour weeks would probably kill me. It is caused from extreme stress and being overworked. Keemstar doesn't know shit and should be banned from youtube.

Anyway, 3 months on after a lot of Asmongold video's, i'm back to playing WoW for 40 hours a week after quitting 12 years ago. God damnit Asmongold. But also thank you.

I think these people should have their numbers permanently blocked from calling 911, ever again. If you falsely swat someone, you don't deserve the police to come to your aid. You've crossed the line, and have fed into the police shooting people who do not deserve it.

Getting someone killed by the cops is one thing, destroying a man's life and having the wounds come from friends, family, and community members who will always wonder even after the lie is admitted is something different and far worse.

It's a variation of something I first read in Sherlock Holmes but may have originally come from somewhere else. Theories should be made to fit facts, rather than interpreting facts to fit theories. The thing I respect most about Asmon is that he has the balls to stand up to the lynch mob and not just join them because of social pressure.

I appreciate Asmogold’s look on these types of topics - he is very in touch with reality and makes decisions only once provided with all the facts.
His willingness and want to see all sides of people, good and bad, is inspiring. I am impressed with how calm and analytical he is towards the situation. As a whole, he just seems like a really down to earth guy.

The bullshit there is that you can denied a job based on social media from yesteryear. That’s not productive thinking. That said, from a business’ perspective it just looks bad to be associated with these kinds of people, legitimately hurt my impression of GFuel. Of course, after this video Keem lost the sponsorship because it became PR poison, so my impression of GFuel is that they’re not actually in support of, well, Keemstar. Basically, it’s more about whether the person makes your company look bad than any moral basis. But inflating the visuals of how bad someone looks in order to spook sponsors into backing out can be used for evil so it just comes back to how far and fast cancelling people should be allowed to go.

Real talk: mental illness is real it’s the way we handle it as a society that’s bullshit. Was misdiagnosed for over 20 years and I almost gave up on getting help at all, amongst other things. I also wanted to just put this out there for anyone else whom this pertains to: it’s hard to find a decent psychiatrist who cares. Legitimately. And I’ve learned that myself along with many MANY others have been misdiagnosed as bipolar when we’ve really been severely ADHD. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been happening the other way as well. So please, don’t believe those elementary school checklists blindly. Trust that there still are people who understand and genuinely care.

Ekita did do something for attention I have to admit though. I don't think he liked his life and he was still so upset his GF broke up with him for some reason but he also did do things for attention at different times. But it dosn't mean he didn't have issues I mean we all do pretty much lol
I feel Ekita was a troll and when it did not go the way he wanted people started to turn on him and when the attention did not go the way he wanted to. But I think he had issues and was a troll. Because there are people that kill themselves with no mental issues but than after he started doing this stuff and he was getting lots of attention for it he liked it than when people started turning on him and calling him a clown and stuff and getting mad and upset at him it was not going his way anymore so he didn't like it and at the end his last video he was talking normal not crazy but completely normal and I think this was one of the issues people calling him out and turning on him. So yes I think Ekita was a troll and for attention and that's fine but I think people turning on him for being a troll and calling him out and calling him clowns and stuff and than with getting kicked off twitch and his girlfriend breaking up with him he was not handling this well. Some people just do this when certain things happen and life and they cannot handle it or chose not to. There was a guy I know he just killed himself last year a while after his girlfriend broke up with him. So I think it is to do with all those things and this is just my personal opinion. Also twitch being so strict and now with deer girl and moderators like that won't help and not giving people second chances because no one is perfect in this life and we have all said and done things before. But from what I noticed he did not start acting this way right away it was a while after getting off twitch and his gf breaking up with him but I do think he was liking to troll for the attention and views. Because in the last video he sounded completely normal no crazy talk and random dumb stuff I think he could just not take the bullying and people saying he was faking which he was a lot of times but he got bullied for that and for troll they started attacking him bad for it calling him clown and stuff than getting kicked off twitch he did not handle well and than his girlfriend breaking up with him. I use the Goblin Gliders on Retail WoW too. I have a panic button Hotkey mapped for them because all my toons except for the Mages and sometimes Druids don't always survive the landings. I enjoy my Demon Hunters for this very reason.

I respect Asmon for keeping a level head and being reasonable throughout this video. It's so easy to get sucked into mob mentality in these circumstances. It starts out with feelings of empathy for the victim, which then turns to hatred and a desire to take revenge on the perpetrator. Usually violently. And people then feed on each other's hatred and it just spirals out of control. They lose all rationality.
Chat here is a perfect example of this. As we see when they turn on Asmon the second he says something that isn't completely in line with their current emotional state, no matter how much sense he's actually making.

Deplatforming is never a good first, second, or third response to someone being shitty, but doing something illegal is absolutely grounds for deplatforming, either from the company hosting the media, or by being behind bars and unable to make content anyway.
