Hi I think you can do a traverse from Kitadake - Ainodake but Hotakadake is in another prefecture. You’ll have to travel again to get to Mount Hotakadake.
Hi! the huts were renovated this year so we couldn’t use the huts. We only put up tents but there’s a water supply for sure. The huts might probably be open next hiking season I’ll give you an update.
Hello, I’m not pretty sure if this is the answer to your question but it’s actually free to hike it. But you’ll be spending some money for transportation and accommodation (tent space). Fare should be more or less 15,000 yen, tent space is at 2000 yen I think… if you are going to use a mountain hut then it’s gonna be expensive around 30,000 yen with beer🍻.

Mantapp 👍👍,, salam dari pendaki Japan ya ✊✊
Yo! Thanks! I saw so an Indonesian party at the top of Mount Kita when I climbed. They were loving it.
Are the tents here included if you paid 2000 yen for tent spaces or should I bring my own tent?
Hi! Unfortunately no they are not. You have to carry your own tent and the 2000 yen is just for space. But it’s cheaper than huts so yeah 👍
