TSA agent caught stealing cell phone

  • Right after this, I yelled in my loudest command voice, "Help! Please call the police! This TSA agent just stole my cell phone! Please record this!" several times. The entire area went silent and Agent Dunn was distracted just long enough for me to jump over the counter and grab my phone. After twenty minutes of being followed around by TSA agents and supervisors in suits who wouldn't show me their badges, I had a nice conversation with a Port Authority Officer who seemed to already have a healthy disdain for the TSA. I'll be filing a criminal complaint. Any suggestions are welcome. More video of that coming soon. Subscribe!

      Telling someone to "get aids" on the internet from the privacy of their home anonymously is only one of a few ways individuals like scienz0220 can boost their low self esteem and raise their self worth.

      AA Sharp so at the end they steal his phone huh? what was the provocation for this "customer" to want to talk to the supervisor? he walks up starting an argument with no video feed as to WHY he's starting the argument...... how utterly convenient. and calling someone "an idiot" from the privacy of your mommy's basement is real tough. must be nice to be able to talk sh*t on a computer with no consequence. sounds like a close minded child to me. ooooh wait, is it my turn to receive some random childish insult?? lol 😎🤣

    If anyone slaps something out of your hand even if its your phone, that's assault and even borderline battery. With the right lawyer they could be personally held responsible and convicted equaling in garnished wages for restitution and or firing due to a physical altercation. My advice is to call TSA headquarters to talk to a representative then file a lawsuit and start the depositions and summons process.

My daughter flew with me and she left her Apple I-pad on the seat getting mine her carry on bags and the flight Stewart gave the I- pad to a TSA agent and he caught up to us and gave her the I-pad she had left without even knowing that we had left it. It had our return tickets on the screen and we were grateful and I tried to tip him for what he had went through trying to catch us and he was so glad he found us to return the i-pad that he wouldn't take the tip. Nice people for sure.

    OK, it took me a few minutes, also reading the comments, to realize that the theft of the phone referenced in the description happened at the end of the video. I thought at first that his yelling at the TSA agent and accusing him of breaking the law was about his having stolen the cell phone prior to this video started, as other commenters incorrectly thought. So that begs the question, what was the original issue the poster is complaining about?

    • @theimortal1974

      he had a problem with black people or tsa agents if not both so he harassed them. he then used the video for clickbait and knew that other people's hatred of black people and tsa agents would put them on his side. he was verbally harassing the agents with no accusations. we don't know what he was doing with his other hand. the knocking of the phone away from him could of been justified. this might not of been the first time he was there harassing. the other person maybe was there before.

      +Kwame “Adisa” Ali Because the point is that the TSA officers dont care about the rules or laws. All they care about is asserting their false sense of authority over another person without accountability. As this video clearly showed, the officers knew they had violated policies, they just dont care. Why would they get themselves in trouble by calling a higher up.

    • @sodgbmg
      @sodgbmg 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      frischn1 i know this is going to bruise your ego but youre wrong. Most tsa "agents" dont know the rules and policies that are complimentary to their position as government workers. If the "Higher ups" would train their subsidiaries with the correct knowledge of rules and regulations which includes the upholding of the constitution then we wouldnt have these problems. BUT in reality we do have these problems because the "Higher ups" are corrupted plain and simple.

      It would just blow my mind to find out that they've never held a group employee meeting with any details of lawsuits against them telling them to stop doing the same stupid stuff. But then again, its not their money paying for the settlements. So maybe they dont care to hold a group meeting to get everyone back in line every once in a while. Because that would make too much sense for government work.

    Should be filing complaints with TSA over the way these agents conducted themselves. Mocking passengers on the job? Seriously? Not giving the name of his superior? Glad this is caught on video.

      +bloodguzzler its the manner he questioned authority in. He did it in a totally kid-like manner. Had he spoken like a grown adult maybe just maybe people would take him seriously. Instead he raised his voice to a higher pitch and screamed because they didn't serve him hand and foot. Anyways what will he get out of questioning these tsa agents? Go to the head of the tsa if you want actual change. Go to a political figure if you want change. Do it a different, more mature way.

    • @alainnervedamaged1669
      @alainnervedamaged1669 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +MutantDoctor I watched the whole video. It seems to be a person having a temper tantrum and flinging non-specific accusations for a few minutes, and then we see that the camera moves quickly and immediately stops recording. It's possible that this was the result of the T.S.A. agent stealing the phone, but in that case I would kind of expect to see at least a few more seconds of video as the agent attempts to stop it recording. Honestly, this looks a lot more like the person holding the camera stopped the recording themselves. It's a definite thing that nobody was "caught" stealing anything in this video, and honestly, I don't buy the story at all... trying to picture someone jumping over any desk at the airport and not being arrested, regardless of the unlikely cellphone story... well, it's pretty absurd.
      This isn't questioning authority, this is being a pain in the ass. I don't know what happened to trigger this car crash, but there are more effective routes than filming and starring in your own public freakout video. My face is kind of red from second hand embarrassment, and this was posted voluntarily?

      I don't know if it is due to affirmative action, it just doesn't require a Criminal Justice(or any degree for that matter, as for as I know.), the TSA screeners of European decent are often just as stupid, but I think people of European decent tend to be more prone to power tripping, this is just an idea or Hypothesis(whichever you prefer.) of my own through personal observation, and experience. That was a bit off topic.
      On the other hand, the fact that they are supposed to take a 120hr course, and be annually tested, so yeah. I normally don't bite when it comes to "Affirmative Action" comments, since they are usually bait, but ehh I am bored.

    Ever see anything good about the TSA? We need to disband this department and let the airports hire their own private security. I've spent my while life in security. I wouldn't even hire one of these things. Totally useless.

  • @wizwitit
    @wizwitit 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Funny thing is people always want to criticize TSA like they all steal. Thieves hold many occupations. I worked in the airport as a TSA officer and had my handbag stolen by a passenger. That did not make the news. Stop judging people of an occupation by the actions of the bad apples. I can honestly say the group of people I use to work with were honest.

    • @Razgriz85
      @Razgriz85 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tsa should be disbanded. They're useless for the task they were created to do, since the bare minimum requirement to get the job is a GED and not have a felony record. The cons (thieves, power tripping assholes, making security checks longer than they need to be, keeping people detained for no given reason, the highly invasive SSSS screening, etc.) of the organization outweigh the pros. A good video to watch on the matter is on the InRangeTV channel where he explains his very bad experiences with tsa in vivid detail. th-cam.com/video/8b6yIaKm0Ak/w-d-xo.html

    TSA are roughly on a level with private security contractor companies as far as the hiring practices. You get that "barely higher than Walmart greeter" level of professionalism and honesty. I've seen one of them pilfer valuables from an old woman's belongings right in front of me at the X-ray machine belt and shrug it off. Anywhere you find tens of thousands of people working the same job you'll get hundreds of scummy thieves and liars mixed in. The nature of their function and sense of authority to rumble through private belongings while owners are stressed and distracted makes it a great target for thieving.

    The thing that bothers me the most is how easy it is for TSA agents to steal and get away with it. That's why when I travel, I travel with less than 5 items on the plane. Phone, keys, laptop, blanket and neck rest. I usually travel from NY to CA and sometimes WA. Sorry that this happened to you. Just wanted to say that just because you saw a black person do that doesn't mean all black people are thieves. I happen to be black American. And I've been robbed by every single race. TSA does not prohibit photographing, videotaping or filming at security checkpoints, as long as the screening process is not interfered with or slowed down. Please do not film or take pictures of the monitors. While TSA does not prohibit photographs at screening locations, local laws, state statutes, or local ordinances might. Taking photographs may also prompt airport police or a TSA official to ask your purpose........this is off their website....smh you would think our gov would hold themselves accountable to know the law the way they hold us!

I bought two 2 oz bottles, one contained maple syrup and the other maple butter. when we were getting on the plane to come back into the US security stopped me and told me I was not allowed to take the 2 five dollar bottles of mapley goodness and said that I would need to pay 30 bucks to bring them back. Who else thinks they were trying to con some cash out of me. I am the only one who didn't get their syrup back to the US.

    Sometimes I travel with some money, usually a little less than $2, 000.00 and almost every time a TSA agent will question me as to what the money is for. One female TSA agent grabbed the money and asked "what's this"? I said that this is a domestic flight and she replied "ok so". She gave me back the money and let me go, but they constantly act like they are above the law and are not accountable to anyone.
