Join the Coalition for Academic Justice at the University of Arizona (CAJUA) and the United Campus Workers of Arizona union (UCW-AZ Local 7065) for our inaugural State of the University Address. Our community has navigated many challenges over past six months:
Lack of shared governance
Mishandling of campus re-entry
Extreme furloughs and pay cuts
Hundreds of layoffs and non-renewals
Acquisition of the for-profit Ashford University
Working WALL-TO-WALL, UArizona staff, students and faculty, CAJUA and UCW-AZ have shown much needed leadership.
We will present an overview of our SIGNIFICANT CHALLENGES and call for COLLECTIVE SOLIDARITY.
Join us as we RE-IMAGINE our university to create a more informed and collaborative UA community.
