- A new CBS News poll shows voters under 30 favoring President Biden over former President Donald Trump by 23 percentage points, but their enthusiasm for voting for either candidate is low. Carolyn DeWitt, president and executive director of Rock the Vote, joined CBS News to discuss the findings.

fun fact, for the first time ever 25%+ of Congress is over the age of 70. It previously peaked at around 11%-12% in the 1960s and then dropped to 5% in the 1980s.
I went to vote in a primary election. I saw dozens of people there but the youngest were in their 60s. Geriatrics voting for geriatrics while young people stay home.

I'm 30 years old. I'm more of results based person. Let's take a look at what Biden has accomplished in these past 4 years compared to what he said he would do in 2020:
1) He said he could fix the border problem without "building the wall". He has not fixed that problem.
2) He said he could pass student loan forgiveness for all. He has not.
3) He said he could fix the homelessness problem. Homes are more unaffordable than ever and homelessness has gotten worse.
4) Crime would go down. It has gone up.
5) The opioid problem would be addressed. It has gotten worse.
6) He said lower and middle class Americans would have more money in their pockets. 78 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck atm.
Lastly, it would cost 6 billion dollars to rebuild the entire city of La'haina, Hawaii. Who are American tax payer citizens. Yet, we've sent over 40 billion of American tax payer money to Ukraine.
Biden hasn't given young people any reason to vote for him in 2024.

1. Trump failed to get full funding for his wall it was too much money for the Republican controlled House and Senate
2. Student loan forgiveness did not pass because it was too much money for Democrats control House and Senate
3. Homelessness has always been a problem, and home prices were going to go up even if Trump was in the office
4. You are right about the crime part
5. Opioid problem has always been a problem
6. Lower and middle class has always been living paycheck to paycheck long before Joe Biden, Trump, Obama, and even Bush.
Also, we always spend $700 to $800 billion every year on the military and we are only giving $40 billion to Urkraine.
