Oatmeal Honey Wheat Bread!🍞🍯

    Recipe below:
    1 1/4 cup boiling water
    1 cup old fashioned oats
    2 tbsp unsalted butter
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 cup honey
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup nonfat dry milk
    2 tsp active dry yeast.
    1. Place boiling water, oats, butter, salt & honey together in a bowl and stir to combine. Let this sit until lukewarm.
    2. Mix the remaining dry ingredients together and combine with the oat mixture. Knead until it makes a soft, smooth dough (usually 8-10 minutes).
    3. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl and let rise for about an hour (until about double in size).
    4. Lightly grease a 9x14 loaf pan. Place dough in prepared pan and let rise again until the dough rise about an inch above the top of the pan (about 1-1.5 hours). Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    5. Bake for 45 minutes.
    6. When the bread is still warm, brush with butter and sprinkle with a layer of oatmeal (optional).
    Let cool before serving. Enjoy!
