  • I feel I'm loving more and more the the interplay of atonal and tonal elements, as well as the combination of instruments like the Cian Lonbarde Cocoquantus, Plumbutter, Teenage Op-1 field, and Elektron Octatrack, a space is created for meditation and deep relaxation.
    Perhaps this kind of ambient music invites listeners to explore the deepest corners of their consciousness, experiencing music not only as entertainment but as a gateway to introspection and inner peace.
    Though it may appear chaotic at first glance, this music often incorporates slightly repetitive elements that act as anchor points in the torrent of sounds. These elements provide a sense of familiarity amidst the unfamiliar, allowing the mind to find reference points and facilitating immersion in the sonic journey.
    In this musical exploration, instruments like the Cian Lonbarde Cocoquantus and Plumbutter play a crucial role. With their capabilities to generate layers of astounding sounds and noises, these instruments construct a sonic canvas that transcends the limitations of conventional harmonies. Their intertwined waveforms and generative sequencers create a constant flow of shifting textures that invite the mind to shed its usual expectations.
    Teenage Op-1 field with some tonal melodies amidst the abstraction and Octatrack with other long samples... add some emerging melodies as flashes of light in the darkness, evoking emotions and moods unexpectedly. I found this interplay between the tonal and atonal an intriguing balance that challenges conventional perceptions of music.
    Perhaps the notion of a "noises lullaby" encapsulates the essence of music based on atonal structures, noise, and textures. Through the interplay of atonal and tonal elements, the repetitions, .... all things that our brain may understand as a space for meditation and deep relaxation.
    Do you like this kind of music?
    what do you think about it?

      Thank you so much Will, it's always my pleasure. You always make me feel very happy to read your appreciation of my music.
      When I share a new video or music, especially if it's something "different", it's like in part going naked without knowing what it might mean to others... there's always a veiled fear there. And it's tremendously comforting in the moments that someone like you likes to give me some of your time writing in detail.
      Thanks to you for your time, for listening, for sharing with me what you think (good or bad), and for encouraging me to explore and experiment with new proposals.

    This is lovely , but it’s not Atonal! Atonal means no harmonic centre ( no recognisable key ) . This is in the key of A minor. It is wonderful , but not Atonal. 👍

    • @Hessencemusic
      @Hessencemusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you are fully right... The piece has a "melody" or a tone and I can't say it's an atonal piece.
      But when I talk about atonal is because par of the devices you see... are basically making noises... (plum butter and sometimes cocoquantus)... What I wanted to explain is that the mix between the tonal from Octatrack and OP-1 field (in A minor as you said) with the other ones is pretty fun and unexpected.
      Thank you so much for listening and your feedback !
