  • ThisOur 2 months in New Zealand were amazing! The experiences! Wine! Gorgeous nature! Surreal water colors! We can't wait to show you!
After a once-in-a-lifetime volcanic experience in Rotorua, we "went back in time" in Napier, and basked in the powerful beauty of the sea in Wellington. Then we headed south to Christchurch for great gardens, food & wine, then to a real castle and adorable wild penguins in Dunedin. In Queenstown we visited an ice bar and almost got stranded on a wine hike, then found beautiful Lake Tekapo (tips on the dark sky park experience!).
Finally, we flew on the #1 airline in the world to the #1 airport in the world and stayed at the #1 airport hotel in the world-how did we do it virtually for free?! We'll tell you! And we'll show you the beautiful Changi Airport Jewell and butterfly garden. Then we'll give you a sneak peak of our first week in Bali at the Hyatt Regency-you know it-for free!

I just found your channel because you answered a question on FB. Thanks for some of the recommendations. Oh, I thought I could help you out on language in Singapore. You see, I spent a lot of time there during my career. One of the four official languages of Singapore is English! Also official are Malay, Singaporean Mandarin, and Tamil. But Singapore is a cornucopia of languages. You can hear 3 or 4 different dialects of Chinese being spoken at ONE table in a restaurant there at teh same time. Oh, and I love the Crowne Plaza at Changi too. I always made sure I stayed there one night upon arrival (which worked well because my flights always seemed to arrive late) and one night prior to departure (just to relax and not have to rush to the airport and use their fabulous pool)

Thanks for the Singapore language insight, Mike🤣. We go back for 4 days in October. Can’t wait! With this video primarily being a budget review AND trying to keep it short, there’s a ton we saw that didn’t make it in. If you want info on specific places we went just message me!
