    If the seller is not VAT registered, and therefore cannot charge VAT, is the consumer liable to pay VAT upon import even though both are within the EU? For example if the seller sold within their home country then the consumer wouldnt need to be charged VAT.

      If the seller is not registered in OSS and based within the EU, VAT at the applicable rate of the customer´s country must be charged. Only if the 10k threshold is not exceeded, the seller could charge VAT at the rate of the seller´s country.

      @@marosavat4039 Thanks for the reply. You cant charge any VAT rate unless you're VAT registered though, so I was wondering if no VAT is charged in that case.
