Good video. Thank you. My surgeon put the pump in too high. It was hitting a testicle and really hurt. It took me a month to work the pump down into a more comfortable position. I still get pain sliding in and out of a car seat. But you learn to live with it. I wish I had chosen a different surgeon.
It may be possible to perform a revision - feel free to contact us at peritourology.com.
I got inplant 2days ago.just found out I've got to take 3 day leave.can you some it up what I need to know
I meant 30 day
I actually had mine done 18 months ago. It has failed. Have emailed the manufacturer and been back to the surgeon and it’s my responsibility to dish out thousands of dollars now. Wished I’d have forced the issue to try the injections. It was my first choice, but the Urologist insisted the pump was a better choice and covered by insurance…..which neither was true!
Penile implants are typically covered by insurance, and it's unusual to have one fail after 18 months. You may want to visit a dedicated implanter to see if a revision is possible and to see what your options are for insurance. Contact us at PeritoUrology.com for more info.
@@DrPaulPerito actually after being told 4 different times by the provider, in the end the original procedure was not covered at all….. Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of Nebraska. The urologist has tested the pump and knows it is not functioning. In the end between the hospital, Doctors and legal we are working at paying off $35,000. So the revision will not be covered by the insurance either. The manufacturer doesn’t want to stand behind it either. So, in the end…. Not a fan. Thanks for your input.
@@rkerschWhy does it not work?
Can you tell me the name of the ointment that you mentioned in your video and where it can be purchased. I have a burning sensation in my testicle area
Same here. I need that ointment
I’m 3 days post op from a different experienced implanter. There is pain, especially where the pump is located as should be expected with a foreign object hanging around in a such sensitive area, however it is manageable. I’m sure my scrotum will soon adjust. I just have to be very careful how I move right now. Ice is my friend. In the end it’s going to be so worth it.
Im week 7...from a different high volume guy in ny,,..i was in excruciating pain first month..long story..and yes its very worth it...
What's the ointment u are referring to
Hi, I am a week into recovery. I noticed my right testacle is in pain almost like the inflation bladder is rubbing against it. What can I do?
Check with your medical provider ASAP.
My AMS 700 will not inflate after deflation. I have gone into the Dr.s office 3 times. Told to leave half inflated. I used the deflation button only, totally deflated. Could not inflate. Left Dr.s half inflated. See a senior surgeon Mar. 7!
Does insurance cover any of the cost?
Several insurance policies cover the cost; contact our office at PeritoUrology.com to find out more.
Poor discharge instruction and poor english in Coral gables surgery center from my own experience. You excellent surgeon.
How much size can you get back by cycling and using a vacuum pump device?
It has been 10 weeks since my inplant and still my penis hurts. Where the tubes are it is very sensitive, how long before the pain is going away?
Do you feel better now?
È molto individuale, ma è una cosa normale. Bisogna avere pazienza e allenare tutti i giorni il pene ad essere gonfiato e sgonfiato....
Are you in Tennessee
Just had a inplant done 03 08 2019 stayed in hospital overnight pain is not as bad as you think tramadol takes care of the pain
WHAT IS THE UPDATE ON UR IMPLANT ?
Good luck finding a Dr that will give you tramadol. Thanks CDC! 🤬
I am begging to everything holy for help asap the VA in Pensacola told me I have cancer I don't want to pass knowing for the last 17 years was waisted that I was never able to please my wife just other men my 90 day is 157 sugar my I counting on me getting it fixed so am I I pray
I got my implant on 3-10-22 and I was fine the first 4 weeks , I was off the pain meds in a couple days after my surgery and I was up walking around and driving but then the 4th week I was having pain in my head of my penis and I didn’t no why and I was uncomfortable and slept nude cuz my boxers made it the pain worse and I didn’t know how to use the pump so I watched your videos and found the release button and made my erection go down and the pain went away but it hurt bad and pain meds weren’t helping at all .. I go back in couple weeks to learn how to use it but I’m glad I found that release button to deflate it enough… other than that the pain wasn’t bad …
Yes, I'm 4 weeks post and still have that stinging pain in the head. Wondering how long it will last. My Dr said don't touch the pump until my 6 week appointment and it's half inflated.
Your age and are you now...?
68 and no pain 10 weeks post.
I'm considering the surgery, I have questions for those who have had it already. Would you do it again?
@@twarren77 hell yes only uncomfortable I had was the cylinders
I am 5 days post implant surgery. MOST of the pain is gone, however, the side where the pump was put through into my scrotum is extremely painful. Even sitting down and trying to reach a large pillow on the ground is excruciating. It feels like the supply tubes running up into my abdomen to the reservoir is sawing into me.
It is still swollen there (At the top of the scrotum where a doctor inserts fingers to check for hernia there) and I am just keeping ice on the area. It is almost like something has gone wrong. That is mostly the only place I have pain except for when I try to get out of my recliner and bed in the anus area. I am sure that is because of the trauma of the implant.
Norm - please contact your physician, or contact us at peritourology.com/contact-us/ ASAP!
Thank you for sharing. What was the outcome from your issues
Up
hello, how are you feeling today in 2022? is the pain over?
Any updates ?
Bigger and better.... Oh the mind wanders...
I just had the surgery and the penis is wrapped, of course. When I got home, I noticed the penis head seems to be extremely cold. Is this normal or is there a more serious issue? Is there a chance the wrap is too tight? It is bluish in color.
This question needs to be to your surgeon ASAP and not on a TH-cam forum.

We're actually answering the first two in this week's episode of MTP, which will be up shortly! Just look for MTP #18 on our channel.
Dr Paul Perito Thank u sir for answering
I think I need one. I can't get a full erection and what I do get goes away in a few minutes. Makes me feel like I'm not satisfying my wife.
It also make me feel like less of a man. I don't ejaculate hardly either. I get the feeling but not much if any comes out. If we play around some I feel aroused some but not trying to get an erection. But if we stop I find a few minutes later I've leaked semen. I use generic Viagra. 20 mg tabs but where they once worked, they don't seem to help much anymore.
