Yo, I remember seeing this when it dropped. Back then I didn’t have an account. I was just using a school computer to look up TH-cam vids after school. So glad TH-cam recommended me this.
I'm an artist myself, needless to say, good job. For all that disliked, at least he took time to make it and didn't rush it like an idiot. edit 2020: "im an artist myself" fuck that was cringy, and pretentious
Many of these anamorphic sidewalk chalk "videos" are just slideshows. I don't need TH-cam to see still images of the finished project. Thanks for giving us a true video (or at least, an animated sequence of stills) of the process! Astonishing work. Looked like he just eyeballed it... I didn't see a protractor come out ONCE! Great talent. Thanks to the artist AND the photographer.
Robyn Broyles I agree it was great, but he didn't eyeball it. He wouldn't need a protractor to do it because it was a perspective drawing. It was all based on an offscreen point. That's where all of the lines going downwards converged to
@@spacejunkgalaxy this was actually recommended because of the click rate and the watch time. TH-cam algorithm thinks that if someone watches for a long time, youtube thinks the video is really good, so it recommends to other people.
I watched this a few years ago, and I just needed to watch it again. This is gorgeous, by the way. I have no knowledge on techniques with chalk, so this was really impressive. I wonder how it looks from directly above, haha...
Wow! How cool! It's great to see that artists take their time to make this amazing stuff and put it on TH-cam for whatever reason, even though the creator of the art may never see the comment, I still say good job to who ever actually took the time to do that, good work.
That’s... really impressive from one angle and probably really weird from literally any other angle. Edit: there’s photos in the description, and... well, yeah.
That was amazing my friend. I envy your talent of chalk drawing a little bit... Once again excellent work. And the symphony playing the retro Mario Bros level melody is priceless. 😏👍🏼💯
@Jackbro82 in the Gregorian calendar yes, but I am just talking plainly, simply in the 1900 - 1999 if you were to look up "what does the 1900s mean" you'll see what I am talking about. Another thing I wasn't talking decade I was taking century, you can write down 1900s as the century as well as decade.
Impressive - mostly because this is a rare example of using a dark surface to create a 3-d image, exactly what I'm trying to do. See the subtle shading on the "top" which is lighter, and the left "side" which is darker. Nicely done.
Great to see a Artist Creating something Organic, without having to relied so heavy on Computer Tech tools. I made a WU TANG CLAN and D BLOCK STOP Motion video last year that turned out pretty good, that is right on You Tube right now,and that took nearly 6 hours to complete..Well Done.
