Buddy in general makes me smile. He's a guy with a lot of heart and knows how to laugh, but is still very objective and easy to work with when he needs to be. I sincerely hope he and his family are living their best lives, they seriously turned a corner in Finn McCools' episode and return.
@@chupitrooper5878the restaurant changed hands (out of choice mostly). It was eventually closed in 2012, and one of Buddy’s sons is in the industry still.
Buddy himself sadly passed in January of 2023.
He's not being dramatic when he goes and throws up in the bathroom. He knows when something will give him food poisoning so he makes himself throw it up right away.
Ramsey has gotten food poisoning loads on kitchen nightmare. Its a bug reason he stopped doing it initially

I am from Maryland. I love the way he says Mary land, which is how most people pronounce it. Either way I’ve lived all over the country see in Maryland. We have a secret for our crabcakes. Not just fresh lump. Blue crab meat. NEVER CANNED OR FROZEN We have a secret seasoning that’s not so secret anymore but it isn’t very well-known outside of the state it’s called JO that is what we season our seafood with, that is what we put in our vinegar and fresh scallions for our fresh oysters at Thanksgiving and that is what we put in the pot to steam crabs and that is what we put in our crabcakes. Nobody has ever made crabcakes outside of home the way they’re made there a lot of people say they do have even eaten in several restaurants in Virginia and they couldn’t get it right either, so anytime I see Maryland crab cakes on the menu no matter where I’m at. It gives me a cringe. I would rather someone who is serving crabcakes call them their own because technically that’s what they are but you need to order some JO seasoning, leaps and bounds better than old bay

If I were a chef in this kind of situation, I would have several average people standing by to taste the same dishes that are served to Ramsay and compare what they have to say. It would be an interesting and valuable alternative

Why do all of the owners/chefs have the same attitude…anger issues, cocky, and delusional. If you’re food is that great you wouldn’t be in debt in the first place and having Ramsey there to save you.
A lot of business owners are like that. Their businesses are their entire life that they dedicate themselves to, so when people suggest that the thing they’ve put years of work into is bad, they’re naturally gonna get defensive at first. Nobody likes being told that the thing they’re passionate about isn’t any good, even if it’s something they need to hear
