@@clivebenjamin3452 You can save yourself the saying. Point 1. I and the other residents here in Germany have not stolen anything, and we have absolutely nothing to do with the Nazis who destroyed the Jews at the time. I'm fed up that we are the scapegoats for everything. If you're looking for someone responsible, then you have to dig up those who did it back then. And remember one thing. just because isolated politicians ordered something and there were a few people who carried it out does not mean that the whole of Germany is responsible for it. What can we normal citizens do for what politicians do? I am also not saying that every African is a murderer because some Africans wipe out a whole village and rape women and children and take slaves and kill the men, women and children like animals. Just because a few Africans act like monsters does not mean that they are Rest of Africa is like that. We Germans take in refugees from all countries of the world, they come to us and get tax payments, money, housing, food, clothes from us for free, these refugees have never lifted a finger for Germany, but they get everything for free. This social system that we have in Germany is there anywhere in the world. We have the best medical care, so stop making me and my fellow citizens feel guilty, I have zero guilt towards other peoples because I have always been a good neighbor in my life, I pay for the refugees with my hard-earned tax money they come to my country a lot of money even though they didn't do anything for this country. Tell me, what country does that but us? Do you think if I flee to Africa then Africa would give me money house eat drink clothes for nothing? Not in life. So stop conveying guilt to anyone.

Your ability to judge a person's character almost immediately is second to none. Undisputed undefeated goat. Still amazes me to this day. I hope Edwin didn't get too much shit off the market boys after this😬
I'm telling you, this is THE best travel channel, TH-cam, network TV, anything .... you learn more from Kurt on these excursions than you'd ever learn on a booked "tour".
I've been following your travels for months and I never thought you'd stop by my country, Kenya. Welcome to motherland. Hoping to bump into you in the streets (or not) lol. I must admire your tenacity and courage to walkthrough downtown Nairobi with your camera held firmly in hand ... anyone who lives in the city will tell you how things can get so messy so quickly ... (I had anxiety watching this, actually) but I'm glad Edwin had your back .. such a good man.
Kurt knows how to really make you feel like you're there with him in his videos. He gives us the most authentic experience we can get traveling this countries from the comfort of our own home. Excited to watch the rest of this video!
One thing i notice when i whatch Kurt is, that he is a person that is able to say No when its necessary. I think its a trait that allows him to get around so well.
For sure. He's got that firm, but fair thing down to a tee. He's very aware of when people are trying to take advantage, even when he doesn't completely understand the language being spoken.
I just started watching him but it must help that he’s from South Africa, they’re different places but similar enough where he’s not culturally shocked like most westerners would be.
I appreciate the guy in the blue hoodie that was seated next to you when you were having nyama choma. He (in Swahili) literally stopped anyone/everyone from touching that meat until you laid your hands on it. He basically said, you bought it so you must eat first before anyone else. Oh wow, I just noticed he even waited for you to invite him before digging in.
Edwin should start a guided tour business for travellers. Edwin would be fantastic at it and he'd have a successful career for life. Kurt's reach could give him a marketing jumpstart.

Brooo you took us on a freaking adventure ! From the anxious moments, tk the dancing and partying and eating the local food. What travel dreams are made of.
I don't know if anyone else felt it but at about 34:40 - 35:05 isn't that that just the best part of humanity? Two total strangers having some drinks together, sharing some food and having a dance and a laugh together like they've known each other their entire lives. That's what it's all about.

That scene with them in their car with the zombies outside following around, gives us a perspective of what it's like to be a celebrity. No wonder from time to time we see celebrities being "rude" or "ignoring" their fans. Imagine having people wanting something from you 24/7
Bingo. So many people want to be famous but they have no realization of how much of your life it destroys. It’s a huge sacrifice, and most people who want to be famous wouldn’t if they truly knew what it was like. Anonymity is a blessing: you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.

You grow as a person when you put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Kurt's videos are giving me wanderlust again, and I'm stuck in the US doing a graduate degree lol. But I'll be back out there soon. Carpe Diem!
Kurt is the bravest of travelers. Africa is a huge continent with many lands to explore but only the most courageous outsiders vlog from there. I'd be shaking like a leaf in a hard-as-nails place like that. Power to ya for having the guts to do it.
that was a vast, and uninformed generalisation about Africa. Kurt is obviously comfortable in many different cultures, enviornments, and under duress. He is definitely also brave. However, bravery is note used appropriately to describe his visit to Kenya( or africa as you put it) , just good perception. For example, the murder rate, rape rate, and violent crime rate per capita are all higher in the United States than in Kenya. Kenyans are also super friendly, its unfortunate you received the image otherwise, as I felt the video highlighted many of the great things about this place.
For anyone watching and being scared of visiting Kenya, please don’t be! I’ve lived in Kenya for almost a year now and have never experienced this kind of harassment. Granted, I’ve also never been to this exact market or part of town. If you’re looking for a chill experience please consider Diani Beach, Watamu or Nakuru. Kenyans are really friendly and its a safe country in general. Also check out Dave Mani on TH-cam for some of the amazing places to visit here!
An environment like that could easily overwhelm even the strongest of explorers. Kurt is really a wanderlust king! I felt the tension in that taxi that was full on. Another epic video where we can see places we would be too afraid to go ourselves. Bravo!

*Edwin is a good man, he should stay the way he is, he has a great character, that's worth a lot. God protect this man and his family. Greetings from Germany from the beautiful city of Cologne*
Why don’t u ask your german friends to give back to africa everything they stole.
