In a few years, she will probably be a world star who has followed her own path, and not sold herself the cheap way. Few are close to her, and she is only 18 years old!
This live performance from this past May is the first time any of us had heard this song. She released the original studio version in September, however several months ago we found out from Toby Gad that it was actually recorded 2 years ago (Angelina was 16) but left unreleased by the label along with 7 other songs she recorded with Toby. The studio version is more upbeat with different instrumentation. In October a slowed down “jazzy” version was also released. I recommend that you listen to both recorded versions. Each has a different feel almost as if they are different songs.

If you haven't filled your holiday reaction list yet, may I highly recommend a song from the masterful, heart-touching, a capella group Voctave, "Where Are You Christmas" (from the Grinch movie). Made up of only 11 people, Voctave feature ex- members of the Voices of Liberty who perform at Disney World in Orlando. They sound like a 30 person choir and often feature a guest singer, in this case a young boy about five. I'm guessing you will love this and it's a change from the usual Christmas songs.
Love AJ but she is one of many Norwegian talents that deserve more exposure. There is a singer who recently appeared on NGT, Inger Lise Hope (believe she won) that has the power & entertainment quality of AJ and Haley. She seems be a lady who put her career on hold to raise a family and, like me, may make you wonder where she could be today without that interruption. By the way, there was ample competition on that NGT season. Maybe Norway is the Phillipines of Scandinavia.
She won the " Voice " norway . She is basically a musical theatre artist. She took the lead role in many musicals from 2012 to 2023 . She is aged 35 . She is not on the same level as Angelina or Haley imo . A Good Voice for musical theatre !!! Just one of many .Sydnie Christmas is for better imo .
