Borough celebrates Older People's Week [2019] | OBLive

The borough celebrated Older People's Week this year by hosting two key events. The "Young at Heart" event is led by the Borough in partnership with Voluntary and Community sector organisations. The event showcased activities and groups in the borough and there will be a Salsa taster class from the Ageing Well programme.
The "Let’s Get Together" event is led by the Volunteer Bureau and provided an opportunity for residents to come together and socialise over a cup of tea, have a singalong, bingo and seated exercise classes with Whole Body Therapy. There were information stalls on the day and information on other groups and activities that residents may wish to join.
