The Clever Cowgirl is my favorite TH-camr, and she is over 100k. I don't think I've seen her do a collaboration though. It just takes time. You always see people saying to share, but I really don't have much place to share TH-cams. When I put on x, it's just not the same audience.
Jack I found your channel from a TH-cam Recommendation after watching a Clever Cowgirl video. C.C. is just amazing, she also has so much empathy and kindness. It seems to me that being a content creator has a lot of its own stressors. You are doing fantastic all on your own and I also really enjoy your channel. A collab would be a great way to kickstart a lot of growth but remember with growth comes added pressure. Take your time. Enjoy your Journey. Learn from Growth. It is a marathon and not a race!
I watch Shae & Clever Cowgirl along with you. I think all three of you could benefit from this collaborating together, your all ethical horse people & each one brings their own ideas & standards that could educate many people.
The Clever Cowgirl is my absolute favourite! She's a lovely person and she's so knowledgeable! I'd love to see you do something with her ❤ Also it's pronounced eemyou 😊
I thoroughly enjoyed your authenticity and compassionate relationship with your animals. Consciously participating in creating a more compassionate/loving world where we focus on what we have in common while celebrating our unique creative self expressions! We are expansive BEings and animals have so much to teach us if we are receptive to learning from them! Life is beautiful!✨💗
I use to try to lock them in at night and had more perches, I think the issue is that they roost so so so high at night But the cold does worry me. Oh and spring can be challenge too . The flock will range sooooooooooooooo far Sometimes they are going for weeks at a time. I downsized the flock , and I also keep x4 at Bree’s house too to range
I love your channel, your farm and animals and you personality and perspective. You have an excellent business background and very advanced with technology too. You have much to offer.
I've been watching your channel since you purchased your Friesian mare, Drakina (don't know if I misspelled. Love your horses and birds. Your farm is amazing. Listening to you wondering what you would have to give Shea immediately brought to mind that she and her husband are looking for a larger place...with your business skill and acumen I think it would be a win/win for both of you. You have the experience of purchasing your farm, exchanging plusses and minuses, sharing what you have found is essential or not ...I think you would gain a great friend with a lot in common. For instance, Shae loves drafts and draft crosses. She has a pot bellied pig named Penelope that lives in her house 😅. She was looking at emus at the last auction that she went to... Anyway, I think she would be a great person to have in your corner. Keep up the good work!
Perfect viewer comment that you shared thanks Jack, I concur your unique style bring us here and your authenticity will keep us returning for updates on your animal’s and everyone’s ongoing journeys, keep doing you and all things considered you will work out the best way forward 🙏🏻👀🍏🥕🤗🙏🏻☕️
Shae is a great business woman and wont enroll in something unless all parties benefit. So don't fret about that. I have been following Shae for few years, Clever Cowgirl for 18 months. I have only just found your channel and I love all 3 of you. You are all gentle caring horse people that live for your horses.
I think it would be good for you to look into collabing with Horse Plus. You would learn a lot from them, and they don't need a lot from others except really help and support. Your benefit to them would be helping save horses- and for you it's learning a lot of things about what to look for. Maybe you will even find a new horse to adopt instead of buy! But having someone from the outside do a video with them would be a great benefit- someone they don't add into the circle of life program- like you!
@@ninawink8973 yes that’s what I was thinking too horse plus those that team worked so hard and it’s so sad to see people allow their horses to become so crippled. It’s so sad but they do help so many and save them from the kill pens
@@CheriSadler True! But also I think having someone from the outside like the Curious Horse channel coming in for a tour, some learning and maybe an adoption would be a great benefit to both of them either way.
Shae is the best, she is only and always about the HORSE'S! She is looking into 2025 being a Great Year for her Horses. Also I am in LOVE WITH YOUR STUNNING GREY HORSE WITH THE DAPPLES. Am I saying that right? This is my first time watching your Channel. I am going crazy over your amazing Birds too. Do whatever makes you comfortable. I definitely respect you.
Thanks Barbara! Yes! You said it perfectly. That’s my big Draft horse “Prince” Welcome to the club my friend, and I am a fan of Shae too ! Her mare Belle and Prince would look so beautiful running together right !!
Yes any horse rescue would be great that would be something I would love to see you get into. They would finally have a forever loving home! Think about it you could get alot of subscribers from rescuing it's a big following
I'm a big believer in following your gut instincts. They are there for a reason and will usually steer you in the right direction. If you have concerns now, listen to that instinct.
Thank you for sharing the beautiful snow with the horses and birds. SE TN rarely gets a dusting if we are lucky. Just know that this is the year of abundance. I feel like your soul already knows what to do. 😊
I gave up on Shae when she sent her mare, Belle away to board at another farm because she has Shivers. The Clever Cowgirl would NEVER do that and i don't believe Jack would either. After Belle's diagnosis, Shae said she could be used as a broodmare! No responsible breeder would bred a horse with Shivers. Shae also said she might consider selling Belle's foal, Ezzy someday. When asked about the chance of Ezzy developing Shivers, Shae seemed irritated, and said Belle's Shivers was caused by an accident related to a scar on her pelvis. Belle was an auction horse from the Amish, she has no history on her. Since there are no medical lab tests for Shivers, there is no way to be certain Belle's Shivers isn't genetic and there is no way to know if her foal Ezzy would develop Shivers.
Hmmm. You’re kinda stretching things here. Shae didn’t send Belle away because of Shivers. Between the two owners there was a collaboration of needs that worked beneficially for both. The other owner needed to send one of her horses away for surgery leaving the other one by itself. Shae at the time needed to separate Belle from her foal for weaning purposes. Belle had stabilized her health and would do well as a pasture mate provided they got along. Shae’s ongoing problem is a lack of space and it worked out easily since the other was close down the road. She still visits her horse regularly and the setup is working well for all for now. Should Shae purchase new property increasing the amount of space, which she is actively pursuing, she would be taking Belle with her. As for broodmare I believe she said that some people had suggested that to her but she rejected the notion. Most of the horses Shae has are bought with the intention of moving them to new owners. She is a trainer. If she said that her Shivers was due to an accident then that was the conclusion of her vet. Shae has already stated that she would not sell Belle because of her condition, and I don’t believe her vet told her to expect Shivers in her offspring. She’s so attached to Ezzy anyhow I suspect she wouldn’t even want to. Shae has already stated that she has many horses that she would not move on. Jimminy, Bagherra, Belle, and maybe Lumiere and Ezzy. I would suggest you go back and review what you think you saw, because I think you are making some mistakes.
@@eileenanderson3517 I believe you are wearing rose colored glasses. She has purchased at least 2 horses since she sent Belle away, so she had the opportunity to bring her home but she didn't. She used to talk about how serious she took the responsibility of getting a new horse, yet she sent Belle, a horse with a serious illness/special needs to board elsewhere. She gives lip service to wanting to rescue, yet the horse she selected as a potential candid wasn't in danger and sold for $2300. Her mindset is potential profit, not saving a life. The horses you mention her keeping are making money for her in her lesson program. That speaks volumes about her priorities. She comes across as alot of fluff and pretense to me. I'm clearly not her audience.
@@ChowChowRescueAdoption I respect your opinion but again you are making mistakes. Shae has repeatedly stated that she is not a rescue organization and does not want to be. She is a horse trainer and a lesson provider. She does not have the space to also take on being a rescue provider. She has said that she wishes she could because she has that in her heart too, but it is simply not possible. Yes it is true that new horses have come in but that is only because other horses she had have been sold. The amount of horses she can provide for are currently dictated by two things, first physical space, and second whether other horses can take over as providing mounts for her lesson program. She knows how to train so she is willing to put in the work to make potential candidates become part of her working farm. She and her husband do all this with their own money and hard work and able assistants. Her farm needs to pay for itself just like any other farm. They do not receive donations because they are not a rescue organization. As for Belle the property where she is staying at is excellent, and appears to have as much if not more space and good care for her and the companion horses where they all get along famously. If Shae and her friend have agreed to this situation and it works well for both of them why would you criticize it? It allows Shea to put a horse into her farm that can help to support the all the animals she owns. In fact she took on a lease horse to help her program because so many of the horses she has cannot be productive for different reasons. All these are good sound business decisions, and I think she does manage to imaginatively work around unexpected problems that turn up which could happen to anyone. I applaud your service to the rescue community but please do not put your priorities onto her because that is not what she provides and she has been very transparent about everything.
@@eileenanderson3517 You're entitled to your opinion, but don't accuse me of imposing anything on anyone. The fact is she has said several times that she wants to get a rescue, but her potential rescue picks are more of what she already has with what she thinks is a politically correct label. I have no problem with what she does for a living, but don't pretent to care so deeply for Belle without the willingness to sacrifice the cash/space to make room for her, especially knowing she is seriously ill and her days are numbered. I expect ppl who talk the talk to walk the walk, so I'm not a fan.
@@ChowChowRescueAdoption you are totally correct, in Shae’s beginning videos about 3 years and 2 dozen horses ago she often talked about wanting to get a rescue horse but that never happened, I guess that would take up space that a working horse has, also it is not correct that Shae does not take donations, not only does or did she have a large Amazon list that also consisted of credit card vouchers she also accepts PayPal donations, on top of the income the videos make, in all her early videos she asks that you please like share and describe so she can grow her channel and she is very evidently honest about her business minded plans . . Has even got videos on all the incomes her horses provide for her, maybe some ppl should go back and watch more of her earlier videos . . Shae would never buy an unhealthy or sick horse, she only buys healthy rideable horses, she won’t even look at a horse with anything wrong including some length on their hooves, as she says: no hooves no horse . . If it’s unrideable it can’t earn its keep, she stopped mentioning her plan for a rescue horse a long long time ago . . . I don’t mind rescues asking for donations but the contradiction of non rescues saying for those who ask or want to I have an Amazon wishlist and PayPal through TH-cam asking for it for their own personal use and personal plans to purchase a new truck, more expensive horses, a bigger farm for more assistants more horses and more money making lessons and huge $$$ seminars instead of saving sick and neglected horses lives from the kill pens . . . Seriously ???? . . Why should we go to work for dozens of hours a week only to ‘donate’ for someone else’s personal plans and dreams to expand their assets and business opportunities etc, am I nuts lol ???? Rescues YESSSS Shae’s personal re-training and lesson empire growth definitely NOT!!!
Love the snow antics with the animals. Drakeana was so protective to Reesis from Foxy although Foxy just seemed up for the antics. Maybe call the peacocks Peter and Pan. Stay on your own for now Jack, you'll know when and if you want to collaborate with anyone when the time is right. If you're questioning doing it then the time isn't right. Trust your instincts and keep keeping your channel real, warts and all.❤
Burt and Ernie 😂Emu’s or Chris and Liam ( as in Hemsworth). You are so kind to your animals as is Shae. She has I think over 100k but just talking about her will send your subscribers to her. She actually has only had her channel a few years. I already followed them both b4 finding you. I love that you, CC and Shae all have your horses health and well being at heart ❤❤❤ maybe she just likes you and there is no motive? Maybe you are just over thinking it!
If Shay at Free Spirit Equestrian highlights your channel in your possible collaboration that would definitely win you thousands of new viewers! You deserve that, as yours is my favorite horse and farm channel. You have the happiest horses and your emus, other farm animals are so fun to watch. 😊. She’s a kind person. I’d think she’d like to collaborate just because you are a good person who gives your animals such a wonderful life, and therefore you provide a highly visible example of responsible guardianship, how people ought to care for animals. I love the fact that your animals including Foxy all love playing together.
Wow !! I am going to mentally change the spelling in my head to Emyou, so I can remember how to pronounce Emu in the long run :) I am posting a quick sneak peek video of my horse carriage :) I am organizing my garage and sheds today, so everything is out of order But just wanted to quickly show the carriage :)
I find your videos very Zen and unique. Because when I was riding, I just thought bareback riding was so much better, and you do a whole lot of bareback riding. You are unique and you have a great and profound instincts, so that's what I love about you.
I love your content Jack. You have a beautiful heart. I have a few horse channels that I stay updated with and you and Shae are 2 of them. Keep doing what you do. Happy New Year 🎉
I’m sorry but although Shae and CC are also massive horse lovers as you are they are completely different in their ideals and purposes . . . Shae does not and would not buy a horse that has any health issues at all, she won’t even buy a horse with a little long hooves, as she says no hooves no horse, if it’s not rideable it’s not for her, she only buys very (as obvious as can be) healthy horses that she can give a second chance eventually at a forever home with their own person after re-training and using for her high volume weekly lessons and trail riding experience and income . . CC (clever cowgirl) is the polar opposite, she takes and buys the most severest sickest emancipated horses (even very elderly ones) that no one else would ever take on as they’re almost at deaths door and tries to give them as much care and love as she can for as long as she can and very very rarely does she move them on at all even if they do pull through and become happy and healthy at her own cost and has no income other than what the TH-cam videos bring in, she used to buy and sell second hand clothing online but I think TH-cam has allowed her to give that up now, they have the same amount of horses each but for very very different reasons and agendas . . CC does not make an income from any of her horses at all and barely rides them which Shae makes a huge amount from hers in lessons, trail rides, shows, her online store, and is now getting into 3 day hands-on seminars (if you have a spare few thousand handy) and other occasional online educational courses . . One is a definitely a very business minded woman who originally talked about wanting to do rescues but that has long gone and the other is ALL about rescues and only puts out videos to help assist her costs for those rescues . . . So it depends on which directional way you’re wanting to head but I think it’s nice to not collab at all as we all enjoy the individual input and aspects of each of you ❤
Don't put yourself down your channel is really good and different to others and I watch FSE and yours and I think it will make for a great episode and Shea loves trail riding and you have trail rides on your property and you both do horse auctions and I think it's good that you are both different that's why it would make good for you two to do a episode together and you can both learn from eachother and it's good for different people to do collaborations together and it will benefit it you both so don't put yourself down because you are a lovely person and you have come a long way since you first did TH-cam just like Shea has done so don't hold yourself back and go for it ❤🐎
Shae at FSE is the best! She aims to help you grow in knowledge so you can do it! Be careful to not lose you in your adventure. Unite horse care & safety with you.
Yes but she does not rescue horses she does not know the ins and outs of rescues she hasn't been admitted to that she wants to one day get into rescuing horses but she is waiting on getting larger property
@kathleensullivanaprn75 yes but buying and working with horses is different than working with rescue horses especially if they have been in those slaughter pipeline
@kathleensullivanaprn75 I understand but as she has said she has never worked with rescue horses nor has she worked with young horses foals Izzy and Ariel are her first foals. Now this guy he is a horseman he has been showing horses so he has just as much knowledge if not more than she does in that aspect he's wanting to learn more about the rescue side especially in rescuing horses out of the pipeline so he needs to get with a rescue that has been in the business in the slaughter pipeline for quite a few years had the experience and that's where horse plus comes in they had the experience they have the vets they work with multiple horse rescues all over the United States and they particularly work with horses being saved out of the pipeline and that is what Jack just said he wants to get horses out of the pipeline so the experience he wants to get is what he needs to look at as in rescues like horse plus she does not have that experience she's got the same experiences he does he has been a showman he used to jump horses I do believe so he's got probably about the same experience as she does in that aspect he doesn't need help their he needs help in the rescue part
I don't see you with Shae....no....nope. You are a free spirit, Shae is very, very organized & goal oriented towards enterprise. I see you as much more free flowing, empathic. Do your own thing. Plus, she is a very in charge personality.
First, pls. teach your dog not to mess with your horses. I love CC, FSE, and Horse Plus. You guys are my favorites. I also love and admire Friesian Horses/Yvonne, and Malin Melin. I'd love to see you collaborate with one or more of them in some ways. I think it would really help you and the others as well, but most importantly would help the horses. You have a amazing farm, your horses are very happy and well taking care of 😊 I wish you all the best, and please don't hesitate. Ps.: please teach your dog - Foxy - some matters 🙂 We don't want any accident 🙏
What a beautiful dog, I would definitely watch it collaboration video. I live in an area where it doesn’t snow that often I want it does. It doesn’t last very long. We don’t have the beautiful deep snow you have, and most horses kept here in Southern California, don’t even have barns, and some of the ones that do don’t even want to go into them. My horses don’t always wanna be in their shelters they’ll just go stand out in the rain. I’ve never figured it out and even though we have the five different large animal vets in our area between them and some of the people I see on TH-cam including people in Montana. They don’t all agree on the blanketing issue especially for snow and rain but they do for extreme cold temperatures. We have rescued horses but we are not a horse rescue. We are a private home and property who happen to have some extra corrals and shelters so we adopted a few rescues, we have quite a few good large animal vets in our area which I know isn’t true of every area in the US or even the world. I have my favorites, but it is not hard to get one to come out to your rancher farm if you need, I hope you do collaborate and it would really be kind of cool to collaborate on a couple different options because I know all auctions are different and the ones that are closer to. You are probably different than the ones close to Shea and seeing both of your opinions and reactions would be very interesting.
Emus are kind of the opposite of chickens, female emus will meet with a male and then have a bunch of eggs in the mail sits on the nest while she goes and chases down another mail. If there is one to be had and she will have another nest and put that boy in charge of the females, make that beautiful, drumming noise, the opposite of turkeys, where the males make the drumming noise, fun life is so much fun you are going to have so much fun learning new things I love your channel and how kind and loving you are to your horses and other animals The property, my daughter bought for years ago, was previously owned by the town doctor. It is a historical property. He actually was an avid collector of exotic birds, but the two peacocks were the only things left at the point that we bought this he had passed away many years ago.
Harmony Horsemanship, Project Equestrian, Steve Young Horsemanship, Horse Plus Humane Society, For the Love of the Hoof, Pony Tales Horse Rescue, Farm on Route 66 are all good horse channels imo
Common goals between you, Shae, and Clever Cowgirl-- a firm foundation for horses and directing them into a future of great care and opportunity. By being a content creator on TH-cam-- you are already, in essence, collaborating! Be yourself!
From Australia here! It’s pronounced eemyou. I am not surprised they are shaking from the cold, they’re not designed to be in freezing weather, 🙈. They can also get quite territorial
Thanks for sharing Lucy. As soon as I put them In the horse stall, they stopped shaking. interesting about the territorial aspect. that actually explains a lot !
OMG when you mention subscribing, I looked and realize that I have been watching your content for a long long time without being a subscriber so I subscribed
I think you and Shay from free Spirit would because match made in heaven. You both have like minded, gentle ways of training and caring for your horses. I think you should leave it up to her to figure out if she'd get enough out of the collaboration. You don't give yourself credit you have beautiful horses and a beautiful farm. Free spirit Equestrian does to, maybe it could just be two friends collaborating on fans questions, a trail ride together, could start as a face time thing. Shay is a wonderful warm person, she put it out there first so reach out😁👍❤️
Thanks Michelle for the lovely words and complements. I do think it could be a match too. She’s Ohio or Michigan right ? I’m Maryland, so it’s not terribly far
I’m Australian and I think the best way to say it is Eeem.you. It’s hard to correct the way to pronounce unless in person and you can hear it. Love your channel so relaxing watching your interaction with the horses. I feel Clever Cowgirl would also be a good match. Shay and Free Spirit is more riding school based. Clever Cowgirl rescues horses and rehabilitates them.
Just off the top of my head you could share some of your unique techniques with her, I love your forest pasture, I love that you have the horses do hide and seek for their food, etc.
You are right. She talks about another property and his Forest is gorgeous I bet she would just love that and would appreciate knowing how it was done.
Jack I’m a recent subscriber and I enjoy your content very much, you have a very beautiful property and wonderful animals and birds. Your reasoning is very well considered concerning Shea. While I enjoy her content as well I’m not sure what she imagines for collaboration either. That said, she has been lucky with her initiatives and they proved fruitful. Basically though I don’t believe you need to collaborate if you don’t want to. I think you are compatible with her and also with the Clever Cowgirl because of your similar ideals and I would think that advice you could receive from either one would be helpful to you or anyone else with horses as well. In other words they are both very experienced and have values. So I would hear her out to find out what she is imagining , and then decide if it would work for you or not. It is a compliment to you all that so many viewers love all of you, and would enjoy seeing you all collaborating. You all bring different perspectives that are all unique and very entertaining to watch. ❤
Clever cowgirl is my favorite, and you are a close second. I do watch free spirit equestrian some, but I tend to skip through some of it. As she says, she likes horses that are more slow than go. I understand why because she has a riding school. But I like a horse that is a lot of go. Another of my favorite horse TH-camrs is under two different names but it's Camille and her husband Jordan, and I think they are great horse trainers.
@lostribe5130 Candice and Jorden Camille is the name of there channel. Candice and Jordan are wonderful always saving wild foals that get separated from their mom and herd. By ither returning them to herd or raising them.
❤🎉 Thanks for another beautiful scenic video Jack !! As for collaboration isn't Dr Doug Willen near you, I thought he used to be around Maryland.. He is an animal chiropractor maybe you've heard of him, he is on y-t .. E-mew.. right,? 😊 Have you ever had your horses adjusted btw ?? Thanks again and stay safe, hugs to Sarge . 🐴😊❤️🥰🇺🇲
I tried so hard to keep my mouth shut. What Shae is offering is a gift. She wants to support the horses out there just as you do. Shes is offering to share her respect for people (you & others) who really care about horses, and she is doing this for the love of horses. Take the gift, it’s just utube footage to help you expand your name, make more money, to make your dreams come true. Not many people anymore who truly want whats best for the horses, rather than make them slaves to act like machinery, and toss them away when they cant perform--Everyone benefits when one selfless person helps others. I hope this is clear, this is a gift from a wonderful person, just as you are… You don’t need to on your own completely. Thank her for loving horses so much! You and the horses would be get the advice from a truly honest relationship. Band together and benefit for the horses sake. Thats my advice from a 72 yr old mom.
Sorry but Shaes horses are nowhere near rescue horses and the love of the horses also has to bring in a decent income in a lot of weekly lessons, trail riding and shows for her students
If you want suggestions I would love to see a little more of the work around the horses, clean stables, show us around the stables, feed and tag room. You mentioned Clever Cowgirl the other day, I love to see her work. I also watch Free Spirit and Homestead Horsemanship. You all have the same feel, and a collab would be great. Shaey seems to me to be a very open person with a lot of passion. Try to reach out to her, she might see a potential benefit in a collab with you. It's very normal for different subject communities to work together, for subs AND because they have fun and enjoy it.
Thanks that’s really good advice regarding collabs ! I’m gonna work on on making a farm day vid with the horses like you mention. Working with the horses, and stables feed room Thanks for the suggestion ! I’m on it!
Some peacock names I was looking at were famous brother like Robert & John, Ben & Casey, Emilio & Charlie, Jeff & Beau, Matt & Kevin or Wilbur & Orville. I love the idea of a collab with Shae or even the Clever Cow Girl, maybe you could do a collab with them both throughout the year.
Yum... Peacock tastes just like Chicken. 😜 (A bit "gamier", but still delicious. The same with Pheasants.) Lol...I know you don't have animals for food...; but I'm just "saying". "Shae and hubby" are looking for a bigger place though... 😘
Stop talking yourself out of this. Shea is fantastic. She’s offering you something on a silver platter. Take it .these opportunities don’t come along very often.
For the birds I would put in a straw hay piles of it into a stall for them man I can do a nest in it that will keep them warm that's what we used to do I grew up on a farm he had chickens and everything else and we would just put extra straw hay into their areas and they would nest down in it and it would help keep them warm you could also look into possibly getting heat lamps but I think the straw hay would be enough
i wouldnt want a collab personally i would want it to be about my horses adventure/relationship, my own business, etc... you can still give exposure by mentioning other people that wants to grow through different channels you know... im always skeptical about collabs because it might not always represent what you want for your own personal growth or viewers. @Curious Horse
Jack, the only thing you and Shea would have in common that you need to meet about is Mushu. He’s a beautiful horse from England and she is looking for a home for him and I know you are the perfect fit
Viewers want collabs, what do you want? What’s the worst that will happen if you decided to ask them…they tell you no? The biggest obstacles I see are distance, coverage while away and time. Obstacles that can be overcome, I’m sure, but definitely take quite a bit of planning. But, in my opinion, it’s what you are comfortable doing, not necessarily what your viewers are suggesting. Your followers will stay with you regardless. ❤
I know I'm going to get hate for this but please please be careful with your dogs. One kick is all it takes. I've seen it happen. Otherwise I love your channel and happy new year.
Same. Foxy gets too close and also sometimes bites at the horses. She needs to be taught to stay back a bit, and not bite at them. This behavior tends to get worse with time. I used to be a vet tech and I can't tell you how many clients had dogs that got unalived by a horse kick.
Matt Harnacke and Jesse Drent (Netherlands)have done a series over the years of visiting other show barns and posting videos of their setups. They have recently bought a new horse property and used the experience from visiting the other farms to know what they want in their new farm. I would be interested in you visiting other TH-camrs with a similar focus as you and doing videos of their farms. It would be a great learning experience for you.
If you want an awesome auction video come to mt hope ohio the first full week of march ! There is one day of ponies , one day of riding horses and fresians , and a couple of days of drafts, it is the most awesome auction around
Oh and horse plus does collaborate with other rescues to help each other in any way so you should not feel bad at reaching out to them they are there to help other rescues their goal is to help animals
Go with who your heart tells you to. Be careful who you collaborate with. I think you will do well on your own. Just show more of your natural everyday farm life with animals ect. people just start showing what they do everyday. Maybe start showing how to things like how to brush out how to saddle up ect. More auctions like I said I would love to see you have more animals!
Mushu is rather small. I don't think this is a fit. I see Mushu with a small young person who will show and ride him. He is such a pocket horse he needs his own person.
Jack, I know you're considering getting a mustang in the future. If you really want to do a collab, you could reach out to Britta from The Project Equestrian. She often attends mustang adoption events and other horse riding events around the country. Britta is based in Vermont and has a couple of mustangs that she has gentled. Britta could definitely advise you on how to navigate mustang adoptions both in person and online, her channel is relatively small as well.
Honey it was all about the teaching you how to do Liberty the proper way that's all no harm was intended to or your animals I'm sorry if you took it that way I would never put you in harm's Way
Absolutely did not take in a harmful way at all my friend I appreciate it !! Keep the great suggestions coming and I’ll implement them I know you have the best intentions . Sometimes, I think I can make my communication for direct . Is something I have to work on
I was only using her as a focal point also using Jesse and Matt as a focal point as they also do Liberty work more so Jesse then Matt. I find them amazing in their training on Liberty. I know that Shae will be running a class soon and I thought that maybe you could get in on a video on that. I didn't think anything about the aspect of collaborating with her on a video with her my thoughts were for this from my mind on that. She is very controllable when it comes to her horses and I don't agree with a lot of her barning her horses. I also believe she has too many horses for her property but I do know that she is trying to get more property at this time. I am also very interested in once you do decide to go for your 501c3 that if you want to I would be very interested in helping you in that endeavor as I used to be a 501c3 both in Florida and in New York state. I would look forward to seeing you become that as you are the kind of person I used to be with your horses and I don't want you to fall prey to a lot of the people that I used to fall prey to in the beginning. You have a big heart and that's the hardest part. God bless you Jack and I only want the best for you
I love how all of your beautiful animals interact with each other Jack, like Prince with the emu and other birds, it’s a lovely thing to see, I also watch Shae and the clever cow girl, both ladies are amazing at what they do when it comes to horses, if I were you regarding collaborating with other people I would just concentrate on growing your own channel for a while and then think about it, you’re doing an absolutely amazing job on your own, and don’t forget how to pronounce the word emu (emyu) basically just add the letter y in there when you say it lol, l hope that the pond ices over so we can all see your skating skills, 🫶🏻, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
I disagree with you that FSE and The Clever Cowgirl have the same viewers. FSE has more subscribers, but fewer views and comments on individual videos, while CC has half as many subscribers (and growing), but CC has much higher views and comments on videos. They are VERY ddifferent channels with VERY different goals. FSE's sole purpose is making money off of horses. The Clever Cowgirl's sole purpose is saving horse lives.
You are enough… I watch you because I like your horse training style and your way with animals in general. You inspire me and you emulate how I feel about training horses on the inside. I watch other horse rescues and I feel their training methods with young broken horses as being way too harsh. One day, you will be offering something different and unique to the horse rescue world. You will show the world how to train a fractious horse using love and kindness without running them around in circles all day. Perhaps, your ideas will just need to take some time to be realized.
Literally teary eyed reading this Lisa ! Your words mean so much to me, and I definitely feel seen by you. Have given me hope for the future, and motivational to do more training videos with the babies. 💕 It’s going to be a big year for Maverick and I, and reading this made me feel more comfortable with sharing. Soon as this weather lightens up, I’m going to start spending more time with the herd and next stage in training.
I think the only u tuber you would fit in well with would be the .. Clever Cow Girl ... she s hard working and loves her horses n other pets , she isnt just all about business profit , and advertising her clothes n make up ! It s all about love n respect for the animals that you give the impression of the same has the Clever Cow Girl ... dont spoil it by using your channel to sell items and always hinting for free gifts like a certain horsey channel does !
We have spoke before. I am so so protective over the herd, but for some reason, I do get a really good vibe on his horsemanship too. I think he would like the training I have done with her ground work, I’m just not sure what he could implement with mounting her 🤷♂️ But I am open . What state is he based out of ?
I believe there are many ways influencers can collaborate. Your view of how Shea and you work together is very narrow. You can become friends and exchange ideas about business. Without being in front of the camera. This is probably the most valuable thing. What's the point of working together if you don't like the other person and that's independent of subscriber numbers. There are very successful influencers here in Germany who just have fun in front of the camera. That way you and Shea would both get something out of it. What's difficult is that the viewer doesn't get the feeling that you, as a man, are interested in her. Cooperation with a man would be easier. If there were now one meeting of many, e.g. A ride from the clever cowgirl, Shea, you and others, that would be great too. I like watching Shay's auction videos, but she's her own boss, so are you supposed to follow along and then you talk about the individual horses? A ride together would be nicer. If you gave a battle horse a chance, I think that would be great. You could fix it up and then sell it.
Hi there ! Thanks for honest input. Just for the clarification, I think Shae is a wonderful person, and I have always spoken very highly of her. Many have reached out regarding doing a collab with Shae. My hesitation came from a place in which, if she is only doing 1 collaboration this year, then the likelihood of a collab with a new channel like myself is very low. I was trying to figure out the rationality. I agree that an off camera, friendship builder and/or ride would be a great opportunity. If it came across as “me not being interested in her”, then perhaps it was from an underlying doubt that I would be considered, or even perhaps it was short sighted and overly analytical. I think she is great, I just think that there are better options if the goal or motivator for a collab was channel growth. Again, I don’t know what the goal is business and/or personal. In the video, I even suggested if she was ever in the MD area, then she is more than welcome to meet and suggested stay at the guesthouse so it increased the possibility of it happening. She mentioned going to each of the collabs properties, so that is also why I echoed that I am open. I am not always the best with my words, but I do think it’s important that viewers now I am more than open to it. I think it would be a great opportunity, and that she is a wonderful person. Many of the factors you mentioned, I did not consider.
Thanks for clarifying that, and appreciate the kind words. Yes, I agree, it would sense to do a bitless riding segment as opposed to attending an auction. Totally agree
Jack, may I ask why you didn't follow thru with Ryan Rose's offer to help you with Janana? Although you believe her issue is from previous trauma, he could help her and you with the resolution. It's obvious you love Janana. She has potential to be a great horse that just needs help. IMO a professional trainer like Ryan Rose would be more beneficial to you and your horses than a lesson school teacher like Shae.
Honestly, I at the time of reaching out to him, I assumed it would be required to be on video. And I didn’t feel comfortable with that at the time. But he did not say it was mandatory. It was just my assumption. And then, I found a fantastic trainer “Dan”, that was working wonders for us, but he bought a new property of his own, that is quite a distance away, and I believe now he mostly does large clinics. But after finding Dan, I stopped trying to find a trainer. But Dan hasn’t been to the property in a long time ( maybe 1 1/2 years)
@@Curioushorse So what is your plan for Janana? Would you reconsider Ryan now? Please don't forget about her. Like ppl, sometimes animals just get stuck and need help. I hate to think of her carrying that when she could be helped.
Emus are ok out in the snow. Remember they have lived on that property longer so they probly love the ice cold weather. Having open gates for the stables give them a choice..
I think I would like having a muses pets we have 16 peacocks the original ones that came with the property when we bought it. Their names are Willy and Billy then we tried to rent to name all the. rhyming so the female one’s name is Millie and the other one is Tilly the babies that came next and survived, or Miley, Riley and Kylie, and we also have chili, but then my great granddaughter decided she needed to start naming a lot of our birds after in adamant objects, so we have a turkey called seatbelt and one called cupholder. We have a goose name pocket protector, she was three and four years old when she came up with these names our runner ducks are named strike, spare split alley and Brunswick for obvious reasons, and we have one Cayuga duck whose name is slick. I think peacocks need more regal names, but
You will find your own way in your own time. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Enjoy each day as it comes.
I love the Clever Cow Girl, But I don't think you need to collaborate with anyone, Your Videos are so relaxing... and above all Real...
I love her too. She is excellent with horses absolutely.😊
The Clever Cowgirl is my favorite TH-camr, and she is over 100k. I don't think I've seen her do a collaboration though. It just takes time. You always see people saying to share, but I really don't have much place to share TH-cams. When I put on x, it's just not the same audience.
“Silo-ing” ourselves is never a good idea. We can always learn from each other.
Thanks for the lovely words ! Very wise and true words. I think taking my time is the best approach too 🙏
I watch Shae & Clever Cowgirl along with you.
Thanks Gypsy !! That would definitely be a fun trail ride together in the future. A great leaning opportunity
I wonder, if you put more perches in there the peacocks would choose to sleep there to get out of the weather when it’s raining, snowing or just cold.
I use to try to lock them in at night and had more perches, I think the issue is that they roost so so so high at night
But the cold does worry me.
Oh and spring can be challenge too . The flock will range sooooooooooooooo far
Sometimes they are going for weeks at a time.
Keep up the good work!
gemeinsamkeiten gibt es wirklich viele.
Your an amazing soul who deserves the best and I think this year for you is going to be amazing. ❤️
Awe !!! Thanks for the lovely words my friend
EMU SAY >Eem-YOU 😂
Thank you !! Love the emphasis on the YOU at the end
Loved what you have accomplished, I’m sure you will go from strength to strength, love sent❤❤❤
Thanks Dawn !! Really appreciate the upbeat words my friend !!
I definitely can feel to growth over the last 6 months and makes me excited for 2025!
She is looking into
2025 being a Great Year for her Horses.
Also I am in LOVE WITH YOUR STUNNING GREY HORSE WITH THE
DAPPLES. Am I saying that right? This is my first time watching your Channel. I am going crazy over your amazing Birds too.
Do whatever makes you comfortable. I
definitely respect you.
Thanks Barbara! Yes! You said it perfectly. That’s my big Draft horse “Prince”
Welcome to the club my friend, and I am a fan of Shae too ! Her mare Belle and Prince would look so beautiful running together right !!
Yes any horse rescue would be great that would be something I would love to see you get into. They would finally have a forever loving home! Think about it you could get alot of subscribers from rescuing it's a big following
I absolutely love her too. She is awesome with horses. She knows what she’s doing. No doubt about it. Cowgirl from Montana.
I'm a big believer in following your gut instincts. They are there for a reason and will usually steer you in the right direction. If you have concerns now, listen to that instinct.
Haha Aussie here, it is eem-you
Thanks Kerri! I am getting used saying It better now, I think lol
You’re a One Man Show, hopefully you won’t collaborate with anyone. Beautiful Winter scenery! Thanks for posting.😊
Your smaller birds need wooden pole roosts- like wooden closet poles- the metal ones of the fencing are not good for them Love your channel!!
Thanks Terri, did you see the ones I have in the chicken/horse coop ?
Shae is amazing, why do you put yourself down jack ,you have a lot to offer ❤
Thanks Karen ❤️
Beautiful. Love PATRICK IN FTL❤
Thanks Patrick ! Just left FL to see the family
It’s was quite chilly here the last few days right !

I find your videos very Zen and unique. Because when I was riding, I just thought bareback riding was so much better, and you do a whole lot of bareback riding. You are unique and you have a great and profound instincts, so that's what I love about you.
Shae FSE, The Clever Cowgirl are great options for collaborating.
💕 ♥️
Shae is the best horse woman I have ever seen. She is all about the horse !❤❤❤
Yes but she does not rescue horses she does not know the ins and outs of rescues she hasn't been admitted to that she wants to one day get into rescuing horses but she is waiting on getting larger property
@@TXtornadosusie Very true. But Shae has bought and worked with many horses and done an amazing job !
@kathleensullivanaprn75 yes but buying and working with horses is different than working with rescue horses especially if they have been in those slaughter pipeline
@TXtornado YES, I know. I have been doing just that for over 40+ years. I'm just saying that Shae is outstanding when it comes to horses.
If your true desire is rescue, you should take this time to learn (the good and bad) as much as you can from other responsible horse rescues.
Agreed and also Fletcher farm in Amarillo, Tx saving draft horses from slaughter!
We hardly ever get snow 😢.love seeing it ❤
Right ! I agree and the horses are enjoying this weather too
So thankful I have the large round bales during times like these 🥶
Just off the top of my head you could share some of your unique techniques with her, I love your forest pasture, I love that you have the horses do hide and seek for their food, etc.
This was a magical. 🎉Thank you so much.🎀
You are so welcome!!!! thanks for watching!
How about Wilbur and Orville for the peacock brother names? I mean the Wright brothers kinda makes sense since they were the first flyers. 😀
Love this idea 🤠🫶🏼☕️
Clever cowgirl is my favorite, and you are a close second. I do watch free spirit equestrian some, but I tend to skip through some of it. As she says, she likes horses that are more slow than go. I understand why because she has a riding school. But I like a horse that is a lot of go. Another of my favorite horse TH-camrs is under two different names but it's Camille and her husband Jordan, and I think they are great horse trainers.
@lostribe5130
Candice and Jorden Camille is the name of there channel. Candice and Jordan are wonderful always saving wild foals that get separated from their mom and herd. By ither returning them to herd or raising them.
@athenanwonderland they are so good at horse training and they don't spend forever to get it done.
❤🎉 Thanks for another beautiful scenic video Jack !! As for collaboration isn't Dr Doug Willen near you, I thought he used to be around Maryland.. He is an animal chiropractor maybe you've heard of him, he is on y-t .. E-mew.. right,? 😊
Have you ever had your horses adjusted btw ??
To work with Shae would be a real privilege for you.
💯!!
Working with the horses, and stables feed room
Thanks for the suggestion !
AMAZING. &. Beutiful. Farm. Animale. ❤❤❤
Thank Emilia!!!!
Yum... Peacock tastes just like Chicken.
😜
(A bit "gamier", but still delicious. The same with Pheasants.)
Lol...I know you don't have animals for food...; but I'm just "saying".
Your horses are so happy! You may have already answered this, but what breeds are Javelin, Patriot, and Maverick?
Names Peck and Shrek. 😂😂❤️
That is definitely a top consideration for the list!!
I think it would be good for you to collaborate with Shea you would learn so much
Definitely would be a lot of fun too
If you want an awesome auction video come to mt hope ohio the first full week of march ! There is one day of ponies , one day of riding horses and fresians , and a couple of days of drafts, it is the most awesome auction around
Emu = Eeeem You ... Aussie Style
Oh and horse plus does collaborate with other rescues to help each other in any way so you should not feel bad at reaching out to them they are there to help other rescues their goal is to help animals
Keep your own channel for now - I love her but you need to make your own way!!😀🥰
You can't reason with an emu!!😂
HAHAHAHH!!!!!
Go with who your heart tells you to. Be careful who you collaborate with. I think you will do well on your own. Just show more of your natural everyday farm life with animals ect. people just start showing what they do everyday. Maybe start showing how to things like how to brush out how to saddle up ect. More auctions like I said I would love to see you have more animals!
well said, agreed!
Think you should talk to Shay, and check out the cleaver cowgirl she also cares about horses and has a big herd
💕
Just found your channel
Woohoo welcome 👍🏼👋🏼☕️
If you would bring Mushu to your farm. I could watch his progress for the next 30 years.❤ and come and ride him too❤️
Mushu is rather small. I don't think this is a fit. I see Mushu with a small young person who will show and ride him. He is such a pocket horse he needs his own person.
@ maybe so but he’s a horse from England and so is Jack I think they would be perfect together
@@CheriSadler she wants 25k for Mushu, don’t think that’s in Jacks budget
@ hi I don’t agree with you. I think he is a very smart man and have enough to live the lifestyle he is.
But you could be right have a great weekend
Jack, I know you're considering getting a mustang in the future. If you really want to do a collab, you could reach out to Britta from The Project Equestrian. She often attends mustang adoption events and other horse riding events around the country. Britta is based in Vermont and has a couple of mustangs that she has gentled.
Britta could definitely advise you on how to navigate mustang adoptions both in person and online, her channel is relatively small as well.
Honey it was all about the teaching you how to do Liberty the proper way that's all no harm was intended to or your animals I'm sorry if you took it that way I would never put you in harm's Way
Absolutely did not take in a harmful way at all my friend
I appreciate it !!
Keep the great suggestions coming and I’ll implement them
I know you have the best intentions .
God bless you Jack and I only want the best for you
Reach out to Shea but keep it private and see what happens !😊
Good idea!!
It is e-mew ,like an e followed by what a kitty cat says.
Oh love that ! Will help me store this in long term memory !!
Maybe you would take on the rescue horses from the auctions with Shay
That’s is definitely a long term goal 🥅 !
It's E-MEW
hahah thanks Randi! boy have I been pronouncing this wrong all along
I’m for anything you do that helps to rescue horses from slaughter or get homes for mustangs and of course everything you do already
💕
It’s going to be a big year for Maverick and I, and reading this made me feel more comfortable with sharing.
No rusch, its a process of development 😊
Thanks Ann! absolutely ! I was watching earlier videos on the channel today, and could already notice some development, which was exciting to see
@Curioushorse Thats great 😊
Ryan Rose would be great.
We have spoke before.
I am so so protective over the herd, but for some reason, I do get a really good vibe on his horsemanship too.
I think he would like the training I have done with her ground work, I’m just not sure what he could implement with mounting her 🤷♂️
But I am open .
What state is he based out of ?
Have you seen Useless Farms Karen the emu? If not check it out. Lol
Foxy and Reese's are having so much fun.
Yes !! Hahah Reeses is her favorite !
He gets such a kick out of her ! Every now and then he will give her a little nibble, and she gets soo excited 😜
@Curioushorse That's hilarious 🤣
Macho man male peacock
Thanks Maria, they have learned to go inside when they get cold now
I think I would like having a muses pets we have 16 peacocks the original ones that came with the property when we bought it. I think peacocks need more regal names, but
Indigo
I like Indigo ❤
That’s definitely in the running !
