Maybe $1000 per person, but more is better. Add silver and gold to that if you travel internationally.

Thank you for sharing much appreciated here in Sweden we are not allowed to have guns for self-defense here you are allowed to have rifles for hunting or guns for competition. Cash on hand is good and a passport as well and in my case i don´t have a passport i never needed one.

Agreed......but.......something is better than nothing since MOST PEOPLE don't have ANYTHING and rely on debit and credit cards 100%of the time
No it isn't enough, but this is for when you re going about the daily life situations, probably better to carry more, but usually if you have to fly you can't carry over 10K in cash so, you'd need gold jewelry and watches if you were going to fly

Change the passport cover, very few countires use the blue so it sticks out easily.
An American Passport will get you shot in the head or taken prisoner in most places around the world. And you want to make sure you have a mix of foreign currency and American cash on you. Large amounts of American cash anything over ($500) can be seized by the feds or foreign officials. Also having foreign bank and investment accounts under 10(k) is a great thing. Along with a stash facility.
how do you travel through ofher countries without your passport, geniune question. ive been to alot of different central american countries and china and i would be terrified to travel without it, i keep it in my bra at all times basically, but maybe your talking about different types of situations…
@@prepperqueen I am a former US Navy Intelligence Specialist. There are places in Vermont where you can cross into Canada without a passport also the same applies to the US and Mexican border. You also can board cargo vessels by just having a TWIC card.
@@waynecmontgomery thats really interesting, i am always worried when traveling internationally I wouldnt have it to get into the embassy if i needed to but i didnt know which countries are the worst… im assuming the lists of top countries bad for tourists are on there, but I wouldnt want to travel to thoose if i could choose…. i spoke with a prepper the other evening who was a Captin of a boat and he said he can live on the ocean for about 4 years because he has 10,000 gallon fuel tank on his vessel, so he said the safest place is on the water if you really had to bug out, but then youd need a ship like his in order to be able to stay out for long periods of time
@@prepperqueen You do NOT need your Passport to get into the embassy in an emergency. You can call the embassy RSO and they can verify your citizenship before issuing you a temp passport. Also it's easy to rent and live in office space in Canada and Mexico. American government intelligence officers do it all the time that is why you have to diversify your cash and thinking 🤔🧐
Not enough
If you need to bug out due to war etc. cash will only be good for so long. It’s nice to theorize what you need to do however in a situation that you describe would likely have travel restrictions in place. Remember the pandemic! Look bottom line is prepping for doomsday scenarios is a 50/50 deal. If someone wants what you have they’ll come get it. If you don’t give it up they’ll burn you out of your home. The best prep advice is to live in the country and stay put keep a low profile.
Yes I agree, find a place like the “train station” on Yellowstone and shack up, a bug out or safe house is the best option, where no one will come looking
