3:16 If my kid spoke to an employee that disrespectfully, I'd fully support them politely telling them to "walk their little ass over" to pick it up. Thankfully, none of my kids do things like that.

I had a total Karen of a man (I dunno what you call a male Karen) scream at me in the store, this was last year during the height of the pandemic, where you had to socially distance. I was 2 metres from the elderly gentleman in front of me, I have a walking cane, and was struggling with my shopping so had it next to me. The shopping aisle near the tills where you wait in line aren’t that wide, but wide enough that someone can walk past you.
This is in Aberdeen, Scotland, and was during the high-risk hour, which is where members of the public who are high-risk could shop for one hour before everyone else. I have asthma and scarred lungs from almost dying as a child from a particularly bad asthma attack. During this hour it was mostly elderly shoppers and folk like me, youngish with some medical condition, the shop btw is really lovely, I go there maybe twice a week and know most of the cashiers, this guy however I’d never seen before and he was chancing his luck (because legally the shops can’t force you to prove you have a medical condition and/or disability), not wearing a mask (naturally) and weaponising his child.
Not this guy. No, he decided to literally weaponise his child’s buggy, which had a 2 year old strapped in. As in, this guy was hitting ME with the buggy, I very nearly fell over if it wasn’t for the massive freezer next to me. As in, this guy saw me waiting in line, maintaining social distancing, not in the way, waiting patiently with my walking cane, and tried knocking me over with his CHILD’S BUGGY?!?!?
I turned around, angry, and SHOUTED at him.
“MATE, I CANNOT move! I have to maintain social distancing, and you’re literally HITTING me with your CHILD, what the F*CK is WRONG with you?!?”
    “Just MOVE you dumb b*tch”
“SIR, IT IS A PANDEMIC, I am NOT forcing my way into this gentleman’s space!”
    “MOVE”
“There is literally NOTHING stopping you from turning around and going back up the aisle, it would take you less time to do that than standing and arguing with me, P*SS OFF!”
His partner came along, total Karen, she had the hair, the glasses, resting b*tch face, and the “I wanna talk to your manager” face, she started opening her mouth and I immediately interrupted her
“You have ears, you heard me, turn around, go back up the aisle you came from, and leave me alone. You’re not waiting in line, you’re just being a ginormous pain in my @ss”
    “HOW DARE YOU”
“Listen c*nt, your husband literally used your CHILD’S pram to RAM ME, I DO NOT wanna hear whatever rubbish is gunna come out of your mouth. There is a PANDEMIC going on, I DON’T CARE”
They stormed off and got the manager as I started putting my shopping on the conveyor belt, and the elderly man in front of me thanked me:
“Quite right lass, never apologise for being safe, and THANK YOU for respecting my space. I have asthma, I’m old, I have heart problems, I really don’t need no virus”
“Thank you, Sir. I also have asthma, so I wanna respect your space”
“No no, thank YOU, and if she give you sh*t, just tell her where to go!”
(This is Scotland, swearing is pretty normal, and the elderly are fantastic)
The cashier asked how I was doing
“Feel like I wanna cry, but I’m alright”
    She started whispering
“You did the right thing, they cause problems all the time, plus they always park in the disabled because they’re lazy, you actually need that spot with your cane, can’t believe some people honestly!”
So as I’m leaving the manager sees me, nods his head, and I leave. I can hear SCREAMING from this annoying couple, and as I’m sitting in the car park in my flatmates car I cry a wee bit and explain what happened, and we see a cop car roll up. My flatmate opens the window, because we’re nosy, and you can just hear the screaming, like proper SCREECHING as this couple of Karen’s are being told they’re BANNED, that they tried assaulting the manager, and that they need to STFU and stop screaming. That’s when I left, I’d had enough of that circus.
Not a “I don’t work here lady” story, but definitely an “entitled Karen” story, because I cannot get over literally using your child to try and knock people over, like who hits people with their child’s buggy?!?!?

I walk with a cane as well. I'm also well known to be quite adept with foil and epee, so you can guess how one alternate use of that cane would go. Another, being a staff weapon.
First, a push back with the cane to proper social distancing range, then calmly and quietly explain to the Chad that "that isn't my kid, so I really don't give a shit what happens to it by your hand".
An advantage in Commonwealth nations, I can call a mate or six that are former and current SAS, in the unlikely event that I'd need assistance. We overlapped mission areas, so we got to know each other rather well in some cases.
I may walk with a cane now, but I'm still quite dangerous to hazards to navigation. ;)

Grabbing someone like that is dangerous. You don’t know what their instincts are, what self-defense moves they know, what trauma they have, etc. You can send them into a fear response where they’re suddenly fighting for their lives and they could KILL you because triggers like that cut out the ability to look at the situation rationally.

I'm glad that there was a quick and easy solution for OP in the last story.
I used to be friends with a girl who said that when she was really little, probably 4 years old, she got mad at her mom for not buying her something in the store and shouted "YOU AREN'T MY MOM!" Effectively attempting to disown her for not buying cookies or a toy or something. Instead, the doors were locked and she was supervised until she could provide proof to the police and staff that this was her daughter. The dad had to bring her birth certificate from home and bring the mom's ID that she left in the car.

Nicer than our experience. A woman decided to grab our youngest daughter from her stroller, then claim that she was her kid.
The mall ninjas arrived and were beginning to side with the woman, I was selecting which target to eliminate first and law enforcement arrived and addressed the woman by name. Apparently she habitually did that when off of her meds or having an episode. They returned our daughter to us, apologized for the mall ninjas idiocy and we went home - to hell with the shopping. We frequented a different mall afterwards, that mall eventually folded and was the set for "The Lovely Bones", with the owners trying to extort two townships for freebies keeping it closed and a money sink for the owners.

Op was lucky she is a women in that last story. That would not go down the same way if she was a man. It's getting completely ridiculous, but unfortunately, statistically, it's also a high probability that random males are involved in predatory behaviour. However, I would think some reasoning would kick in where someone interacting with and carefully watching over two young kids would be unlikely to be trying to drag them off into a windowless van...I shudder to think what would have happened if you'd offered your cousins some candy at any point.

The other would be away on the other side so the mom can't see her coming. She waits for the mom to let go, or look away, then takes the kid. They didn't succeed when I heard about it, but they didn't get caught either. I'm sure they'd gotten away with it before though. Horrible people in the world nowadays.

Yes you do see stories like this pop up all the time. The women are obviously looking to kidnap the child and get well-meaning idiots to prevent the parent from stopping them because the idiots NEVER go 'hey everyone you can just stay here and wait for police to arrive' they end up grabbing and assaulting the parent or custodian (especially if they're the father or some other male figure) and letting the actual kidnapper get away with the child which to anyone with working brain cells if they keep trying to run off instead of stay around for police they're clearly not on the up and up.

Story 4: As I take it, this happened in Germany. And therefore, it must have been really unusual and absurdly violent. Why? Well, it‘s highly unusual in Germany that police really put you in cuffs. In general, police are way more relaxed around here, due to the simple reason that we have gun laws (and not only guns, but banning weapons in general - including one-hand knives or ones of a certain blade length, pepper spray of certain capacities and certain tasers). Therefore, while I won‘t say that those laws are not violated (especially regarding knives and such), it is way more unlikely that anyone around you is armed. That btw also results in the police seldom drawing their guns.
Back to the story: Usually, it would be more likely that the police escort her from the premises and cite her for interrogation - especially if no charges have been pressed yet. Another detour into German jusrisdiction - The German justice system knows (in a way) two kinds of offences: „Antragsdelikte“ require charges being pressed by the victim to be prosecuted, „Offizialdelikte“ are automatically prosecuted - there is also a mixture, of the prosecutor‘s office sees public interest in the case. The former crimes include things like family theft (while theft in general is officially prosecuted, if you steal from your family, a demand for penalty is required), and even assault (while this is such a case when the prosecutor can affirm public interest).
So, a way more civilised public - while we do have our share of entitlement, this sort of violence is way more unusual.

I'd drag the guy with me and ask silly questions about house projects that would basically keep our discussion going and put myself between her and the employee. I'd totally give the employee some time away from stupid customers and give him/her a rest from wild Karens.
I do this with my husband who is a Marine with PTSD, so I tend to break in between him and wild Karens all the time when they go after his Service Dog. "To pet the beautiful German Shepherd Puppy." This Service Dog is 100lbs of German Shepherd who is trained to keep people from touching my husband or coming up behind him unannounced. My husband can be very violent in his reactions to surprises from behind or someone touching him that he doesn't know. I'll step between wild Karens and be another barrier for them to get past. I have a lot of distraction and I will talk the heck out of them about ADA, Service Dogs, and legal jargon that usually scares them off, especially when I pull out my phone and start dialing. I might say I am calling the authorities, but I tend to call a buddy and tell him what is going on which gets him laughing (he tries to be quiet about that) while he talks loudly about laws being broken and will be there in a few minutes to handle the problem. He used to be an MP and was friends with me when I was in service myself.
Now, I worked a lot of retail before and after the military before my knees finally told me to slow down and stop abusing them. I went through several surgeries after the ACL broke and it wouldn't stay fixed, so doctors gave up and patched the knee up enough to keep me out of a wheel chair. After military, I was less tolerant with these self entitled people. I also had a tendancy, when not having my husband's six, to take up an employee's time (give them a break from) when a Karen was on the prowl.

Gee, these stories never end. I think all these "Karens" need to be sentenced into reeducation programs.

That lady with the shopping cart, if she'd tried that with me, she'd have wheel marks running right up the center of her flattened body. I can't believe the nerve of some people.

Always give unused pork to your dog or hurl it at the nearest vegetarian, with a cry of 'Catch!'. That'll teach them not to have a sense of humour. -Simon Marchmont [Posh Nosh]

I am so sick of KARENS. As a woman I can definitely say not all women are Karen's. I am so far from a karen, I look them dead in the eye and tell them to shut up. Several of these witches have tried to touch me...I tell them in a loud voice I am disabled and if you touch me I will have you arrested. One finally did. I am currently enjoying here being taught a lesson. She was arrested, charged and lost her job due to the assualt. It is serious as she damaged my shoulder that wasn't already damaged. I had to have surgery. I am suing her...as she turned out to be a multimillionaire. It is sad...because she may lose her children but I told her loudly in front of an employee and another customer to not touch me as I am permanently disabled. On camera. I am in therapy because I do feel guilty but my therapist says it isn't my fault and I will accept it. I know I will accept it. Actions have consequences... and we are almost ready to settle..and i will sign a NDA. I just needed to talk about before we come to an appropriate settlement. Thank you to anyone who reads this. I am a shy person, so please respect my need to not answer questions. Love DarkFluff and all of you.

You're nicer than I am, as the offending limb would be dragged over my shoulder a tad farther and the elbow dislocated over my shoulder.
A neck and throat grab, as in the story would've generated a more advanced military hand to hand event, which would be impossible to recall, as that's a direct threat to life.

I am convinced that the whole “the customer is always right” thing of a few decades ago has directly contributed to there being so many Karens now. They think if they throw a fit they can get everything they want.

Story 1 My children are adults now but when they were kids they would never have spoken to anyone rudely. They would have got the game themselves or asked someone politely to help them if the game was out of their reach.

Anyone who can quote George Carlin, (who is one of the most AMAZING comics that I never had the pleasure of getting to see live) is outstanding in my book!!!!!
