Bruggen was certainly the father of historically informed performance, but your statement is that of someone who obviously is unaware of the facts.

Beautiful! Sehr schön! Both of them are very good players and young! The first three to of the musical pieces are based in F#m...the one as soloist recorder is based in the C, scale...also in E scale, C#m scale... wow she plays fast! Both of them are really great players...!

No words to describe or make compliments. It Is already difficults to play the flute, not the block flute! I usually play the VI Sonata of Pastor Fido with the flute. She plays impossible things, 30 minutes of baroque estasis!

I love listening to this girl play, but I’m not sure why her recorder (on the first set) sounded just a bit on the flat side, as tuned against the harpsichord.
Yes good point, I thought that to. Could be a wee bit of nerves and she is not blowing correctly, or maybe the recorder wasn't warmed up enough, I believe that can effect the sound too. Beautifully done all in all though, lovely piece of music

Problem with the recorder is you can tune it down but not tune it up.
Oh jeez, I'm glad someone else said something. I've heard other vids where I thought she was consistently _a slight bit_ flat. But I don't hear it that way here: Here I hear constantly _wavering_ pitch - almost like wow & flutter! I wonder if she was nervous?? She's only 16 here, and I don't hear that issue in her later performances (though as mentioned, sometimes I hear slight, consistent flatness). Whatever, she's a great talent, and has since developed more pitch control. And she'll only get better!
