Electric cars have become commonplace. What about an electric plane? What about an electric glider? Glider - perhaps the most convenient type of aircraft for electrification. High aerodynamic quality does not require a very powerful engine. And the engine is only needed for a couple of minutes during which the glider gains a starting altitude, finds an updraft and then soars under the clouds for hours. In this mini review, there are three electric gliders that I came across, as usual, quite by accident.
