    I'm going to have to disagree on the CHASS comment, I don't think CHASS is predominantly easy. we definitely use rhetorical, critical, and logical thinking. Of course every major is different. I'm an English major myself, and I can tell you that I rarely get to use my creative side. It's more analytical and research-based classes. CHASS majors also need to take classes outside of their majors so we definitely also have to take classes such as biology, political science, math, etc. for anyone thinking to get into the CHASS program at UCR as an English major, just know it's not super chill, you definitely need to put in the hours with a lot; I mean A LOT of writing, reading, and research.
