I heard the unreleased Hunter Theme (Boots through the undergrowth 2) and saw a lot of people saying it would’ve been good for like a mini boss as the hunter’s dog, and that it starts with him digging up the hole you dive into. I agreed and thought it fit really well.
Hypno gave me imagination like they both walk out of this nightmare together and they're holding hand and walk away from the screen and end credits rolling over
I also imagined that too. Six and Mono successfully destroyed the Transmission and they both held hands as the sun rises from below before the credit scene rolls in. Oh, if Little Nightmares 2 was a sequel and the main characters finally have a happy ending instead of Little Nightmares 2 being a prequel and the main characters' fates will be decided in the future.

It still in the hospital, after six pulls you, it is a mix of the thin man’s theme and the hand’s, and the one in the school is a mix of the teacher’s and the thin man’s theme
or maybe it's a beatiful music that the tower plays to attract a large number of viewers near a TV to suck them in and turn them into horrific creations or into a mass of tissue that will be part of the main mass (the one with eyes seen in the tower that has chosen Mono to become the next thin man)

Totally agree! I'm an adult and this game has made me afraid of the dark. And it's been a few years since I played the first game, and the fear still hasn't gone away, and it's all because of this game! :D
I totally agree...idk if you know this but if you hear the full version of old Boots Through The Undergrowth, the music cuts in a sudden sound. And that's actually because The Hunter was meant to get caught in one of his own beartraps while chasing Mono and Six. Oof!
The alternate main menu theme sounds like it could have been perfect for the end credits. It has such a hopeless finality to it, especially with the lack of children's voices. It means that Mono is alone in the Tower, not even with Six to hum alongside him. Also serves as a good introducer to the first game too. Your version of Hypno is perhaps the only one I've heard that manages to feel right. As to whether I think it is Mono singing, it could be, in his moments of lucidness as he is maturing into the next Thin Man, but I don't know where he could have learned it. See, with the main theme and Six's little music box tune, they provided a sense of continuity that embodies the game. Hypno, doesn't. Unless Mono did actually sing to Six during their time together, but we can only imagine.

This can be inferred from the various channels broadcasted throughout the Pale City, which can be heard and understood to some degree, whether it’s an urgent news report, advertisement for a product, a standup comedy skit, or a speech. All of that could be brought to mind from various aspects of our life and the world around us without having to completely understand the language. Or… the spoken language could simply be incredibly distorted, as the Transmission that emits from the Signal Tower most often corrupts all aspects of life. This idea can be seen within the school. While within the Pale City school, we come across a small group of porcelain children engaged in a game of jump-rope. While doing so, they begin to sing a song, though it’s incredibly difficult to understand, as the children do not appear to speak an actual language. The song they are attempting to replicate is “Down in the Valley Where the Green Grass Grows” which is a jump-rope rhyme sung by English-speaking children, which originated from the late 19th century and continued into the early 20th century. The written language seen on various advertisements within the Pale City vaguely resembles Hiragana, a form of syllabic writing used in Japan. Though despite this, the language within the Pale City is completely unique and cannot be deciphered. Also, a fun little fact, the names of three porcelain children have been given. One male porcelain child is named Benny, while the other is named Truls. For the female porcelain child, her name is Jennifor. All three names originate from various regions within Europe.

The Little Nightmares world is a parallel grotesque world of the real world, the children are brought here like The Backrooms, with The Thin Man being the only antagonist from that world that is confirmed, the Hypo Theme might be the theme if the children returned there. All proven by a guidebook.

Whatever the developer wanted to make a whole level out of a subway is dubious. Maybe they didn't have the time or the resources to do that and they settled on the train section that is in the actual game (which is cool but sadly way shorter that i would have wanted).
Those unused musics really sound like drafts for the official ones, and it's very interesting because we can guess another story the studio would've planned at first. I wonder why they didn't keep this unused main theme for the final project. The tonality sounds a bit more disturbing than the original one. The only drawback I found is that there isn't the children's humming we know (and love). "Boots through the Undergrowth 2" is quieter but cleaner than the official one which sounds more complete, realistic and veeery nasty. I bet Tobias Lilja first based it from the chase music of the first boss of LN1. "Escaping the school" is actually used in the game, if I remember well. But it's also a draft for "Teeth and leaves" so I guess they didn't put it in the OST album in order to not repeat it. "Medication Time" and "Thin Man Lurking" have been put together to create "Playtime" and so it is played twice in the game (first at the entrance of the school, and then at the main hall of the hospital just after the scene with the TV). "Hypno" is so beautiful and is the most interesting one: I personnally think there may be a different ending planned at first (a happier ending?). But then they would change the story, and so just keep the melody to make the whistling song of one of the channels we can hear from the TVs. (That feels like an easter egg, now lol) "The Tower" is a shorter version of "Disposable Entertainment" which we also can hear twice in the game if I remember well. Maybe they didn't planned at first to use it for the long reveal scene of Pale City and then has been more developped for it. And then, I recognize nothing from "TV Six theme". I guess Tobias might used some samples from it here and there in the sound design. Anyway, that was my useless thought about it. I just needed to put here what I had in my mind. The maw main menu theme would have been the perfect ending song because there is a very noticeable lack of singing which gives the sense of loneliness which is what Mono felt sitting in the signal tower.

My opinion on each and every one. ~ 1, Maw intro : Would of felt good for a credit scene, it gives that kind of vibe that Six has finally gotten their way out of that twisted place and can think about what she has done and if it were worth it, realising that she killed many just to get their own way. Not feeling guilt or even a bit of remorse. In the Maw she killed many (even one of the strongest,highest) people in the Little Nightmares world. Very good. 9/10 ~ 2, Boots Undergrowth II : Seems more blood pumping than the other. Something about the sound makes me want to run and hide even if it means I have to sacrifice others. 8/10 ~ 3, Escape school : Gives a sense of relief to escaping such a messy, unruled place, not the best. 4/10 ~ 4, Medication : Sends chills up my spine, sound a lot like the original with some bits cut.. Not the best either but does creep me out the slightest bit. 7/10 5, Thin man : Sounds like the school playground theme at the start, then it descents into some static texture, doesn't fit thin man to be honest. 7/10 6, Hypno : Very calming, could fall asleep to this. It kind of shows that the world weren't originally all corrupt not a time loop but the TV's took down the world to madness. 8/10 7, Tower : Again sounds like the original but again.. More static like. 5/10 8, Six TV : YESSS.. Would of been more creepy, love it. 9/10

But if six Will die as a Hero, it's can be good ending and also dark/bad/sad ending. 1 mystery for little nightmare world, where people will go after they were dead? Some people say boots through the undergrowth 2 sounds scary, not for me, for me it slaps.
My opinion on each and every one.

1, Maw intro : Would of felt good for a credit scene, it gives that kind of vibe that Six has finally gotten their way out of that twisted place and can think about what she has done and if it were worth it, realising that she killed many just to get their own way. Not feeling guilt or even a bit of remorse. In the Maw she killed many (even one of the strongest,highest) people in the Little Nightmares world. Very good. 9/10

2, Boots Undergrowth II : Seems more blood pumping than the other. Something about the sound makes me want to run and hide even if it means I have to sacrifice others. 8/10

3, Escape school : Gives a sense of relief to escaping such a messy, unruled place, not the best. 4/10

4, Medication : Sends chills up my spine, sound a lot like the original with some bits cut.. Not the best either but does creep me out the slightest bit. 7/10
5, Thin man : Sounds like the school playground theme at the start, then it descents into some static texture, doesn't fit thin man to be honest. 7/10
6, Hypno : Very calming, could fall asleep to this. It kind of shows that the world weren't originally all corrupt not a time loop but the TV's took down the world to madness. 8/10
7, Tower : Again sounds like the original but again.. More static like. 5/10
8, Six TV : YESSS.. Would of been more creepy, love it. 9/10

Hypno is beautiful, but it doesn't really sound like it matches the tone of the rest of the game in my opinion. I LOVE "Medication Time," and boy, everyone was right about "Boots Through the Undergrowth 2"--wow!!!!!
