Hrithik is an amazing actor. People feel that he is overrated and gets attention only due to his looks, but dude puts in the effort man. He not only trains to keep his body on point, he trains a helluva lot for dancing, and he acts really well, gives consistently good performances.
Jason grace I think he is one of the most underrated actors in the industry. But he is my favorite.

1) the poetry was written by Javed Akhtar who is Farhan & Zoya's father and he is one the best writer and lyricist in India.
2) In the end Kalki and Abhay were not together romantically she brought her boyfriend with her to the wedding. They remained friends.

They don't really know the actors as well as the Indian audience does thus can't really understand the difference and level of acting they put into their different characters. The only other Hritik movie Jaby watched before this was Kaabil. Doubt he's ever watched a Farhan Akhtar movie before. Farhan Akhtar is a writer,producer,director and also knows how to play football and the guitar damn well. Oh he sings too.

Well jaby , if you see Hrithik and Farhan meeting for the first time you will see that there is a little bit of, what to say,less warmth amongst them as compared to between Abhay and Farhan.
Then secondly you will see that Hrithik is kind of insulting to Farhan on several occasions, like for instance when he tells him about the price of the bag and it is more than his yearly salary or when Farhan tells him that it means a lot to him as he came to the trip. I mean you can sense that there is something off and it was building up
Hrithik is actually considered to be one of the best actors in India. He has a lot to offer other good looks and dance. You should definitely watch Lakshya, Guzaarish, Jodha Akbar
Hrithik is one of the best actor superstar to come out of Bollywood.
What I feel is Farhan's role was very well written it had more depth than Hrithik & Abhay. But this is what makes Hrithik such a genius actor that despite not having the best writing his performance stood out for me. I would recommend you to watch Jodha Akbar & Lakshya next. Do watch it.

man even after watching the trailor for guzaarish, how can you even think of doubting hrithik's acting abilities.He indeed is a great performer,apart from being a huge star and a handsome hunk.
One of the Best Films by Hrithik. He is a Brilliant Actor and a Hot Star. His performance and his chemistry with Katrina were the main highlights for me. I think this film influenced him a lot in real life and he has got bitten by the travel bug. Hope you watch his Koi Mil Gaya, Lakshya, Jodha Akbar, Dhoom 2 and Guzaarish films too
FYI : Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Movie is in the Syllabus of Management of Spain cause after this Movie the Tourism business of Spain is Increase more. Cause in the Movie they show all about Spain(scuba diving, sky diving,locations) also the Festivals(Tomatino fest, Bull Fest) even they showed the JAIL of Spain(RulesOfSpain)+(Señorita).

@jabykoay u haven't watched Hrithik's acting skills a lot I guess. Maybe u r watching all the wrong movies. Watch Lakshya, Koi Mil Gaya, Jodha Akbar, Guzaarish, Agneepath. You will realize he is much bigger than just a heartthrob.

Melanie Dsouza Koi Mil Gaya is great. While you might feel that the film is childish, the movie itself is great.
If you watch Koi Mil Gaya now, Hrithik might come off as overacting there. But at the time when the movie came out, it felt he acted his heart out in the movie
Kalki and Abhay were not together at the end, she was with a new guy while Abhay was drinking and taking pictures of the wedding..
I just watched this movie yesterday i enjoyed it and i felt hrithik natural acting he felt just truthful without exageration ans i loved all of the actors performances, i love katrina kaif was very natural as a supportkng role too also i discovered fahran aktar and the man playing his father in this movie they did a great job but my attention was all hrithik ❤
Fun fact : Farhan Akhtar's Sister Joya directed the movie and the poetry was from their dad Javed Akhtar.
1) In the end wedding sequence, Kalki and Abhay were broken up, she had another boyfriend that she brought to the wedding, though they remained good friends. watch that scene again.
2)The poet Of the poetry in this movie is Javed Akhtar, Farhaan's Dad and Zoya Akhtar's dad. He's one of the most renowned poets. Dude's a legend.
3) fun fact : Hrithik said, ppl often ask me that was kaabil my toughest role, I say absolutely not, it was the easiest. ZNMD was the toughest, cz I had to be rawfully, authentically vulnerable. And it was one of the best film making experiences of my life

Hrithik is regarded as one of the most versatile actor that India has ever seen. From his very first movie he has been experimenting with his character. JABY U MUST WATCH GUZAARISH.
Hrithik is only hero who can give Hollywood tuff fight... In terms of everything looks, body, acting.. He is just perfect... Hit like for my and our favourite hero.. Hrithik roshan
You covered almost everything except one and it was important part of the story.
Abhay Deol was born in super rich family.
Hrithik was born in poor family, his father died and her mother really had to fight hard to meet the ends and make her son what he was not and so for him Money earning was an emotional fight. He really wanted to earn a lot and a lot so he doesn’t have to go thru he went when he was young and in school.
Farhan isn’t that rich, he earns and spends and doesn’t really have much to save and thus he travels thru budget airlines and sport chosen by him or the hotel arrangements he did for all was also of substandard and comparing that to what Abhay and Hritik chose was much lavish.
There was a constant showcase of a thing thru their actions or choices what having money or richer you are wound make you do.
An amazing movie, watched it many a times and would watch it again and again. I don’t think we will get another movie like this in long time.

2. Farhan Akhtar himself is a phenomenal director apart from being a singer , poet and an actor.
3. His directorial debut "Dil Chahta Hai" is a cult. He also directed one of the most underrated movies of all time "Lakshya"
4. Hrithik and Akhtar are childhood buddies and that's the reason for them being so comfortable
5. All the poetry in the movie is written by Javed Akhtar, father of Farhan and Zoya. He himself is a genius who penned down the cult Sholay along with Salman's father Salim Khan. Salim-Javed duo wrote the backbone of new generation Bollywood.
It's totally a fresh and feel good movie!!😍

You're right Hrithik is so much more than a heart throb, and if you really want to see his deep heart felt performances you need to watch him in Fiza his acting and karisma kapoor's acting just got me he was acting deep with the eyes as a lost young man in middle of religions war in india, which sees blood and manipulated when in shock while being parted from his sister (karismakapoor) the fact that his acting and karisma's acting kept me watching all the movie without any subtitles when i don't even understand the language caught me of guard this two drowned me in their green eyes and their deep performance i literaly found this movie on youtub yesterday it hasn't subtitles and i just got so into it i really need to find it in eng subtitles 😍😍😍

Astounding review. In-depth. That was AMAZING... That was freaking BANANAS!! (Gotcha!!).
I love this film, and I usually watch it through from any point I catch it running on tv. I have a different perspective on few things that stood out for you:
1. When Farhan says sorry to Hritik very flippant-ly. Sometimes when one is ashamed of their action, they try to ridicule it down. I don't know if it is defensiveness or carelessness. In this instance, I read it as defensiveness. And hritik rightly rejected that sorry. But later when he says sorry, it comes right at the heel of Farhan's own crisis, and his defenses are down enough, and they are alone more importantly, to resolve that old issue.
2. The director perhaps intentionally used the stereotypical jargon of finance world to show how ridiculous one can get chasing professional goals. I thought that job scene showed how mechanically Hritik's character was actually living out his life. So aim was not to let us glimpse the corporate job he held, but how restrained the job held him.
3. The poems are by Javed Akhtar, father to Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar.
4. The nuances for me were the best part, as you say, very well incorporated. You will get it from 'Dil Dhadakne Do' too.
All in all, a very detailed and thorough review. 😊

Yes Achara they know each other since their childhood their families were among those particular Bollywood families, both Hrithik and Farhan are star kids Abhay a little distant but a close family to superstars. the poetry is by Javed Akhtar, Farhan's dad, a writer, poet and lyricist serving Bollywood for decades. Finally!!!! Thank you Jaby and Achara for the detailed review. Glad you loved the film. It’s one of my all time favorite. And as many others commented, you need to watch more Hrithik movies. This is only the 2nd movie of him that you’ve watched. Do watch Lakshya, Guzaarish, Jodha Akbar And Agneepath. Along with very versatile and tremendous performances of Hrithik, the movies themselves are absolutely fantastic.
Also, #ShirtsForHrithik (though I don’t agree with the sentiment). He was very much covered in Guzaarish, Lakshya (directed by Farhan Akhter) and Jodha Akbar.
Probably the most overused word in Jaby's videos is - 'nuances'. As the toy story meme would say - 'Nuances. Nuances Everywhere'. 😁

Loved the detailed discussion. A couple of thoughts:
a. The confrontation scene between Naseer’s character and Farhan’s character is probably one of the best written and directed scenes of its kind. It is so nuanced and so painful at the same time. Speaking of which, If you haven’t seen the movie yet, you have to watch Monsoon Wedding for Naseer’s and Shefali Shah’s performances in it.
b. The arc that you see in Farhan’s character - from a easy going and somewhat callous guy to someone who feels deeply sorry for his actions - makes his performance the best of the 3 guys.
C. Kalki and Abhay Deol aren’t together at the end. There is a scene where Abhay is introduced to the guy she is dating. I think the point here is that you can still be friends after going through an honest and painful moment like that.
d. I agree that Senorita was totally not relevant to the plot. The cool thing there though is that the actors sang their respective parts.

The philosophy has a lot to do with the language. So its not easy to understand if you dont speak the language. I can totally understand your point. For example the poems are epic and still lives inside us. And for Hrithik's performance... As strong as it is in this film, it is not even his strongest character played. Watch Lakshya, Guzarish, even Koi mil gaya..
