Shirogane Noel is a clumsy but mostly wholesome knight, with a more girlish voice than her appearance would suggest (though she can pull out a mature older sister voice if the occasion calls for it). Final fantasy X is my favorite game of all time, I'm so happy Noel played it.
Also wow, winning the first Blitzball tournament is hard, I'm surprised she managed to do it on her first playthrough.

I love the rage she felt after Yunalesca's Mega Death. That was me back then. Kid me felt absolute rage.
Imo Yunalesca is by far the hardest non optional boss in the game. Like Sin and everything that comes after her is far easier and more straightforward to win.
It cracked me up when she used Self Destruct with Khimari to end Yu Yevon.

Her having Auron congratulate him for it had me dying.
I LOVE the nod to Summoners traditionally having horns on their heads with the Ronso statue of Yuna.

The decision from the translators to change "Thank you" to "I love you" honestly was just god-slayer SSS++++ tier holy shit.
Right!? and Tidus' reaction on his face is as if it was suppose to be "I love you" from the beginning. He's like "aw man this extra sucks now" lol
Yes, it was a good decision. Because in English, "Thank you" does not express Yuna's emotions well, and it is hard to understand why it is more beautiful in Japanese to use "Thank you" instead of "I love you" in this scene.
I just know that... Hm, its different meaning, but it is clear that she love him too....

the "fake" laugh sounds bad in either version, as it should. It's them forcing themselves, to be silly.
However, I think the _genuine_ laugh that Tidus breaks into with Yuna afterwards sounds wayyyy better in English. The JP one sounds different than the "fake" laugh, but it still sounds fake!
Thank you so much for the compilation/translation. FFX is one of my favorite games and Danchou is... Danchou, so it was a great watch. People kinda forget about how hard the mood can hit if you get really engrossed in FFX, was rough watching her get hit by all the stuff I knew was coming.

Noel is such a dork. She accidentally overkill the under water wyrm trying to revive wakka 😂. She wasn't aware that phoenix down, much like white magic, will damage undead/zombie. The kind of mistake only she can pull off lol.
It's funny because she's familiar enough with the targeting system to know that using Phoenix Down as a recovery item will place the cursor directly on the dead person. What she missed was that using an item as an offensive option will place the cursor on the enemy instead.
@@vdinh143 yea she used potion on the wyrm in her stream, so she's have at least some awareness of the undead quirk. My guess is that she must've panic since she is down to only rikku. Either that or her stick drift at the perfect time. Lol

But she definitely felt something from it. Personally, understanding the meaning behind it, I do like it overall. I don't know if I felt it was cringey, but I could definitely tell even just from people making fun of it. It sounds like the Japanese voice actors are hamming it up so much more then the English voice actors did, I remember Final Fantasy X as having very good English voice acting for the most part and they emotions really being conveyed well. It may just be a cultural difference though.
