Actually - I remember now why I did that - I wanted to have clean cut of the inner shape of the tracery as a UV island so I could paint stained glass more easily on top of it... But once painting had been done I should have swapped it for low poly pane! Thanks again!
BRO YOUR WORK IS BEAUTIFULLY LOOK A DAY LEARNING HAVE TO DO THINGS AS GOOD AS YOURS, I ASKED IF IBAS HAS DOED SOMETHING LIKE WITH THE BOATS? , I mean a tutorial on how to do it
Thanks! It is called Quixel Suite BUT I am using pretty old version. Back then it came with useful NDO and it was one time purchase . Now you have to do subscription and there is no NDO (instead something called MIXER). I am sorry :( Check this video for more information th-cam.com/video/8yye9iro5jU/w-d-xo.html
I don't understand it. When I bake it I can't decide where to save so I dk how to open it in ps. The cavity just appears in the cavity uv but there's no AO? I'm so confused x.x
I know this might be confusing! I'm sorry I didn't show saving image in the video! After it's baked - head to the UV window and on the top bar left from the "+ New" button choose your new "Cavity" map or whatever you called it. When it is active head on to the top bar "Image" and choose "save as" - this way you can save your cavity map! Same goes for AO - After it is baked - activate it in the UV view and click image -> save as. Hope this helped!
Thank you, I learned a lot.
I am very happy to hear that! Cheers!
Really nice tutorial. I would only recommend to make glass with just a single plane so it has less polygons. Thank you for sharing :)
Thank you, Dominika! You are right -- there was no reason for me to use such complex geometry... Good optimization tip!
