Another tip not mentioned in this video that greatly increases the quality of reflections is to change the quality settings of the reflection probes. This can be done by going to edit (top left) then preferences (bottom) then change the viewports reflection probes resolution from its default setting of 256 to 1024. You can also change the export settings from 256 to 1024. Makes a huge difference!
I hope you can explain ,ore about the placement of reflection probes since the position seems to have allot of effect on the reflected image which is quite often disproportioned
Très utile merci beaucoup je me demandais si les reflets de miroirs tous brouillons était du à un problème soft ou hardware mais en fait c'était simplement le ssr à désactiver.. Très intéressant aussi l'usage de la reflexion box !
If I resize (increase) the size of BRP also the reflected image will be resized, and If I put a BRP between an object (near to the mirror e.g. 10 cm) and the mirror sometimes it will not be reflected or it will be reflected uncorrectly (out of scale). Why? Thank you for the ssr off tip. TM 2020.1
Disabling SSR from camera settings doesn't work for me. Something changes slightly, but the SSR reflections are still there messing with the probe reflection.
I got exactly that problem, but when I switch off the SSR, the SSR reflection are still there ! It doesn't deactivate at all ! Please help me. I use TM 2020.2
As I try this, It seems it may work only with small reflective area.. but with large surfaces, it represents distortion..!! Inside UE4 ( Planar Reflections ) works fine with accurate reflection..I wonder why not using the same procedure inside Twinmotion.. Thank you
Great, thats a good trick, thanks for your videos. Could you make a video about, How to get a rotation movement for a door? This is useful when we make a video, and the clip starts outside the project.
Hi Francisco, thanks for your comment! Door rotator is a feature that we are working on right now. You can find it on the Twinmotion public roadmap: portal.productboard.com/7pu88c9kpmqtzt8hwg6arujh/tabs/5-in-progress
@@twinmotion can you explain how to create a mirror in twinmotion 2019 using reflection probes without ghosting...because there is no SSR to disable? Thanks
I am having trouble with scale and alignment of reflections. This should not have to be nudged around like a piece of furniture until it looks “right”.
Olá!! Muito bom!!! (very good) Se vc puder me ajudar: algumas ferramentas de camera não estou encontrando no Twinmotion 2023. (If you can help me: I can't find some camera tools in Twinmotion 2023) Obrigado
This is all well and good. But does not help when needing to add reflection probes to large mirrors or windows. Also, when mirrors are facing the outside environment.
