As someone who lives in the Netherlands, I can say that most games are now playable to us, since so many of them have just turned lootboxes off for our country. There's just a few games that still do have it on, and we can't play them. It doesn't matter to them whether the lootbox gives skins or not, the country bans them to prevent children from gambling.

They dont ban lootboxes for gameplay advantages, they ban it because its like gambling. You pay a currency, and in return you have a CHANCE to get either a really good thing or a really bad/normal thing, instead of it being a guaranteed pull. I am from, and am living in Guatemala and I've been playing for the duration of 2015-present and I can say that I did have issues with playing the game at that time, however, I purchased a stronger internet connection and then it worked fine for me and has since, I have NO idea how people think its still banned, I know multiple people who play it on a regular basis. Okay, for the Oman one, the reason why it was banned was because of the voice chat update Roblox pushed, because it made free calls and they don't want that as they also banned so many voice chat apps, most well known is Whatsapp and Skype and you need a VPN to use them, and also discord is on a weird phase of getting banned and getting unbanned, as it got banned 4 times now and it got unbanned for 8 months now, basically the voice chat is the one that made the ban, and if you ask about games like cod having voice chat, well, because they only run for minutes until the game ends, basically smooth brain moment

There has to be a better ways and practices of making money without using loot boxes, I know most of the time games that use loot boxes on roblox only use them for cosmetics, but honestly loot boxes imo are one of the worst things that became a norm in video games. I am a UAE Citizen and I can confirm that we can play Roblox and purchase Robux. Roblox was unbanned in the UAE in early 2021. Purchasing Robux was actually never banned, even during the ban that lasted from 2018-2021. The only thing that you needed was a VPN.

The kid thought that he can do it irl then he died after they heard abt this Roblox game they banned it for children safety they did it also due to bad language and violence by Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi research .I was just 8 when they banned it in 2018 and now I'm 13 I am very quite happy they unbanned it but mostly the reason why they did unbanned it was cause abt Expo 2020 they wanted to expand there community in the UAE so they unbanned it because Roblox got popular is 2021. Yes they can, only a very few games are locked in these countries. Even games like Pet Simulator X are still perfectly playable without any locked content.

I am a UAE Citizen and I can confirm that we can play Roblox and purchase Robux. Roblox was unbanned in the UAE in early 2021. Purchasing Robux was actually never banned, even during the ban that lasted from 2018-2021. The only thing that you needed was a VPN.

as a Jordanian, i'd like to explain the situation of roblox being banned.
so basically, since lots of violent and gambling games were realesed, it got banned in the middle of 2017, then later got unbanned beginning 2019. now lots of people dont know jordan is unbanned, but its fully playable. its still in the countries list and no game modifications or vpns have to be on to play [CURRENTLY].
Germany is not affected because we can play all games that have lootboxes like Arsenal and Pet Simulator X

As a person inside the Uae I can tell you that information is wrong, we can buy robux here for dirham and it supports our currency and in Jordan it isn’t banned either because my cousin in Jordan can play it fine currently maybe in the past it was banned but right now it is not
Roblox is headquartered in California, the same state I am in. I don't think it's possible that roblox ever gets banned for me.
As a proud German citizen i aswell can affirm that you CAN play all games on roblox such as blade ball, arsenal e.t.c. WITH lootboxes and all of the same prizes as in the U.S.A. There has never been an instance where a game has ever been banned for having lootboxes. Thanks for you time.

As a German I want everyone to know that what Chaseroony said about Germany is a completely false. I do not use a VPN and there is not a single game with lootboxes that I cant play.
I am german aswell and I can not open roblox at all anymore. Even uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work. I even tried to restart my PC and yada yada yada, but it doesn't work. I'm basically stuck in some ''installing roblox'' loop.

i have a friend from germany i met her in royale high and when ever we played mm2 she was like "oh i can't come i have some homework to do" so one day we decided to play mm2 2 times that day so we we're like "hey we're gonna play mm2 with "L" and "M" do u wanna come?" as expected she said "oh sry guys i have homework to do but if i didn't i would join i love mm2" so we asked "are you going to finish ALL of ur homework? so we can play rh after u finish ur homework i missed rh" so she was like "yeah i'll finish my homework in prob 2 hrs" so we said "ok see u 2 hrs later" we continued playing mm2 for 1.5hrs and hopped on rh waiting for her. She eventualy joined to rh and after playing for 30 mins we asked "hey do u wanna play mm2?" she said "oh i have homework sry im prob gonna hop off like 3 mins later" so we asked "but you finished ur homework like 40 mins ago" so we waited for her respond for 2 mins and she wrote a massive explaining but im gonna shorten it so she said "ok fine you guys caught me i actually like mm2 but i can only watch mm2 vids so u see (explains the laws) so yeah bc of those stupid laws i can't play mm2 but if they decide to change it ill def join yall it seems like a rly fun game so after that day we decided to never play mm2 again in our friend group but sometimes when she isn't online we still play lol

As a person who lives in Oman, I can tell you that a VPN might work for YOU, but I have used VPN and it has not worked for me. I tried to get access to Roblox for like the past 2 years and have gotten over it and don't play it anymore, however, if you can give me advice on VPNs that do work, please reply to this comment

I live in United Arab emirates for like 10 years The reason why Roblox got banned in UAE because there were rumors saying that a child died because you know when you respawn in a game. The kid thought that he can do it irl then he died after they heard abt this Roblox game they banned it for children safety they did it also due to bad language and violence by Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi research .I was just 8 when they banned it in 2018 and now I'm 13 I am very quite happy they unbanned it but mostly the reason why they did unbanned it was cause abt Expo 2020 they wanted to expand there community in the UAE so they unbanned it because Roblox got popular is 2021.
