- The manager at Value Village pulled me aside for filming my thrift with me video! Shop along with me as I go thrifting in 4 thrift shops in Calgary, Alberta Canada. And I will show you my shopping haul of art, antiques, crafts, home decor and more! I thrifted at MCC Thrift Shop, Value Village, Salvation Army, and Goodwill Thrift Store. These stores are great for resellers and shoppers, and I will show you what is on sale and what I bought.

I actually prefer the voice overs. Less background noise and more relaxing.
You have the best thrift stores !
I love Dr, Lori. I missed her appearance in Minnesota the year the situation started. I was so bummed!
That framed, bird cross stitch would've been in my cart soooooooo fast!! lol... You found some great deals.
There was so many nice things, and the bird cross stitch was beautiful 😍 🤩
The needle work pictures were beautiful! We never have prices like that in our stores.
Are they better or worse.
Such a pleasure thrifting with you
Thank you!
The flower frogs..the glass one... make perfect holders for makeup sticks or holds pens [Carol ]
Love that idea!
That hammered pot was Lagostina. It's a popular cookware brand. I see it all the time at Canadian Tire.
You should have looked over the second basket on the second shelf from the bottom. It looked like money!
OMG! I cant believe you left the pair of swan glass art pieces.
I can't either... and the hound dog with the rabbit... aughhh
Absolutely No to Ouija boards. Playing with fire there.
probably why it wound up at the thrift shop...
that cow jug is by Otigiri....thats worth some money!
It look like it was a quality piece
The glass with the dark designs are silver overlay. The silver has tarnished and turned dark. They have some value but not as much as you would expect.
Is that an old style?
We're not allowed to have the Ouija boards in our homes.
The needle point was very profitable. Especially of people.
Value Village prices are so stupid, I don't shop there anymore. It used to be so great. But when I see a 'mark up' on Dollar Store stuff...that's USED...I'm done. And when my visits there started to dwindle, I was noticing things still on the shelf from months ago.
Keep prices reasonable...things will move, profit will be made. Price things like you think you're a boutique...inventory sits there. Then they blame it tipping fees.
They need to remember that ANYTHING they make on donated goods is profit. I miss good ol VV days. =(
I told the manager shoppers like low prices, they will go to Value Village more often if the prices are good.. I would like lowered prices too...
I sell on Etsy. Its easy. Also the quiji board is a no no. I had to get a friend to help a friend of a friend that was desperate for her daughter. Not funny. MCC is the best.
