Alex, thank you for the introduction of what is RSD, well and less Tacos for more Vinyl? Hell yeah!! Hendrix at the Fillmore wow!! You introduced many artist I do not know and thank you for it. Coffee, fireplace, slippers & Jazz, Christmas music… Thank you very much for this 🎶🎶🎶
Hi Alex! Great video! Just subbed! I agree with you about RSD! I always find at least 1-3 records i want. Did a RSD Video too! Looking forward to seeing more of your vids!
Hey Alex! Who’s that’s a whole lotta jazz there! I also picked up that Jazz Dispensary- it may be my fav in the series now. I had no luck getting the Helmet or STP releases, but did get the VH live and U2 album 😎👍
The VH is pretty decent- the vinyl sounds super and the list is stellar! That said, Sammy’s vocals are a bit rough at times as he’d damn near blew his voice OUT on that tour 🤔👍
Nice French there Mon Frere. "I'm a prototypical millennial white boy." Minus 5 have a Monkees related album with some of those REM boys on it. I may snag that Bill Evans on CD. Enjoy that waxxy wax.
I usually hit RSD in the afternoon after the crowds thin. My main focus is filling in the gaps of the collection. Some of our local shops bring out boxes and boxes of dollar bin stuff on RSD, and that's the honey I'm after! Jazz Sab is on my radar for sure. I agree, not gimmicky so much, but done respectfully.
Nice haul broskie montana! I got 2 from my record store on RSD. I grabbed that Joe Bataan-Riot, and there was a Curtis Mayfield compilation, both were RSD exclusives and both are bad ass soul. My record store didn't have the Orgone so I ordered it the next day from Plaid Room. Good shit man! Always good to see you
Hi Alex!!!! for what i have seeing here in the VC, there will always be guys who complains about everything..... remember that in other parts of the world there are no RSD/BF events. Anyhow cool to see you really enjoy the event and spend a lot of money (!!!) getting cool music jazz stuff. Btw i totally agree with your opening statement about some of these "usual" releases in this events..... cheers and be well
Jerry has also had a jazz heavy year, thanks to my comments. 🤠 I’m not a funk guy, but you’re selling me on Orgone. Cool Hendrix thing. Buddy Miles & Santana is awesome. I approve of that Bill Evans big time. Awesome. I could do without bass solos. I’ve heard of that Jazz Sabbath series. On my “to do listen” list. Your comment on Wilco had me laughing! I don’t have any but get their popularity as I’ve lived through it. Max Roach! That looks spectacular. ✌️
Holy schikeys! You’ve got jazz out the butt. Although Jimi makes an appearance. The way you describe listening to jazz sounds kind of nice. I think you should have added “While I eat my can of cold baked beans…”
Every year, no matter how great the list is, there are people who say the list sucks. I thought this year had great stuff. They didn't have Better Than Ezra or Sun Ra but I got Helmet and the STP Purple rarities. Plus I found some great used records. And speaking of Jazz I scored a copy of Jaco Pistorious' solo record on RSD.
That Jaco from last year (or the year before maybe?) had some great reviews and I've always wanted it! Totally agree.. people seem to complain every year but it's great to see the people out and having a great time.
FANTASTIC GREAT
Thank you!
Great batch of mostly jazz Alex. Perfect for those cold winter mornings. Cheers.
I wish it was jazz season all year long.. thanks Jack!
If you like jazz guitar I recommend the Emily Remler RSD 3 record live set. It's a beautiful listen.
I really should have picked this up.. but don't recall seeing it much! Maybe someone still has it.. thanks buddy!

Thanks brother! It's hard to cut back on the tacos but you gotta do what you gotta do. Cheers!
Totally with you for Bill- it's just pure magic to our ears.
Absolutely!

Great stuff man. Outstanding haul. Way to treat yo’self. 🤘🏼
The way I say it is we save money for when we get old or when we have children.. and neither of those things are happening!
Hey Alex. Great RSDBF haul! I picked up the Hendrix and the Jazz Dispensary and they are both Killer! Cheers
Absolutely - thanks Bobby!

The JD was great this year! And the vinyl always looks so dope. Let me know how you like the VH!
