Thanks Ben - I'm glad you enjoyed my first ever "cooking show"! While I don't have 18, here is a 9-Hole Course Vlog from a couple of years ago: th-cam.com/video/YLVhf0VdWSw/w-d-xo.html And here is a video in which I was demonstrating the lesson topic of Extension while also having a little bit of added fun on the course: th-cam.com/video/W6qVE7OPkf8/w-d-xo.html Tom
Thank you Chef Tom!! Can't beat a good Pimento Cheese Sandwich or three. Pairs well with your Krispy golf shots! So many of the store bought ones are not good. Never thought of making it at home. Going to try your recipe.
From the Saguto kitchen we have gotten smiles per gallon. From the Saguto golf course we have smiles per birdie, smiles per yards, smiles per crispy impact, smiles per precise golf shot, and smilers per laughs. YeeHaw
LOL! Thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed it! I figured that I talk about food enough - mashed potato drives, KFC crispy irons, etc. - so I might as well dedicate an episode to it (while remaining in a golf motif, of course...😎) TS
Oh yeah. And a spoonful of that pimento cheese on some piping hot mashed potatoes just may redefine "heaven" for your taste buds....😍 Glad you enjoyed the video! Tom
If you're making Master's Pimento & Cheese, you need to use only Duke's Mayonnaise. It's an area tradition. Also, the Egg Salad sandwiches are a much better choice at Augusta.
I was waiting for a Duke's message, Milton, and I do have a preference for that Southern staple. I just went with what I happened to have on hand at the time, which was the Food Lion store brand. They are North Carolina-based, so it was not complete blasphemy..... 😆 And yes - the egg salad in an excellent choice as well, which is why I load up on both while I'm on the grounds! TS
That's always a secondary outcome here at SagutoGolf, Richard - whether it be mashed potato drives, KFC crispy irons, or just a simple recipe for "pimchee" during Masters weekend!!
When I lived in New Mexico and went to a restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner and needed Salsa, they’d ask “Red or Green?”. I’d add some Hatch Freeze Dried Chili Med Hot to your recipe. I’d now have a sandwich with Red and green
LOL! Dukes is typically my go to, but I just didn't have any at that moment. No insult to purists intended, and at least Food Lion is based in the South..... 😎
I see your one, Boyce, and I probably raise you another seven or so......😎 Oh well - back to the treadmill. But it was definitely worth every last calorie!! Tom
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I see no reason not to re-release my first foray into the cooking video realm in conjunction with each future Masters tournament! TS
Just your average Renaissance Man. Enjoyed one of those and some egg salad sandwiches at the Tourney a few years back. Hmm Hmm good. Way to stay in the game sir
I'm still in negotiations with The Colonel for my affiliate deal. I don't want to blow it by going public with his secret recipe of eleven herbs and spices......😎
Oh yeah - we absolutely have grilled 'em, Greg. And spread the shellac on burgers. And.... Actually, for the purpose of not wanting to lose any of my audience to clogged arteries, I think I'll stop there... 😎
No No No!!! You can be over the top and steep in order to "slice" the bread, but I need you to shallow out the path of the knife for proper application of the shellac. 😆😆
If I eat one of those sandwiches, will I break 80?….if not, I’m sticking with my standard Salami, Hot Coppa, Mortadella, Prociutto and Provelone, on a French Roll…
You'll certainly break 80 calories in one teaspoonful. 😎 But then again, you'll do the same with one bite of your suggested sandwich, which by the way sounds fabulous to this Sicilian anytime other than Masters weekend....😍😍
Tom, Tom, I think of a million better options than pimiento cheese, and all of them involve meat. If you're gonna add some different content I suggest some guitar jams. Love the channel though.
You haven't lived until you slather pimchee onto a smashburger, Thomas. Oh, and here is a link to my YT guitar channel if you are interested in checking it out: www.youtube.com/@TomsRockinGuitar 😎 TS
It is great, David, and you want crispy just butter up the outsides of the bread slices, throw it in a hot skillet for a couple of minutes per side, and you'll have one of the tastiest grilled cheese sandwiches ever. And yes - some crispiness as well! 😎 TS
I never buy it when It is called for in my recipes. I simply buy a red pepper and fire roast it on my stovetop (gas). I wipe or rinse away all the char skin and dice up the pepper, removing the seeds and internal ribs. . Lightly softened, mildly sweet red pepper. That's what i use. Canned pimento are always 'slimy' and expensive. Make your own, imo.
Not at all, Justin. Just trying to be authentic to what you would get as a patron at The Masters. I've grilled them before and they're fabulous! I've also shellacked burgers with that stuff. Outstanding!
From a long-time sub, I love this from you, Tom! Would also love to see you play an 18-hole round on YT at some point...
I would love to see some course management content from Tom.

@@SagutoGolf Those videos have only left me wanting more!
I agree! I actually found this video while looking through his page for a video of him playing a round. You da man Tom!!
My mom use to make some kick ass pimento and cheese sandwiches when I was a kid. Loved that stuff!
A simple and truly delightful southern treat!!
Wow! Never saw this video coming, but I love it
I know, right? 😆😆
Welcome to my first foray into the world of cooking videos. Glad you enjoyed it!
-Chef Tom, PGA.....
Golf, Guitar, and now Gourmet sandwiches! Is there anything you can’t do well? Keep the content coming!
LOL! Thanks Dr. Gene. Gourmet? Not so sure about that, but I'm glad you're enjoying my expanded realm of content!!

Keep it rollin Tom!! You are very entertaining...

My pleasure, Monty! I hope you enjoyed my simple "pimchee" recipe as much as you are enjoying my simplified golf instruction!!

Game on!! Didn't see it coming but coming from you... must be gold!
Absolutely! I hope you whipped some of these up for your Masters Sunday!
I grew up eating pimento cheese sandwiches. I'm 62 and still eating them. Well Done Tom.
Thanks, Bruce! I sincerely appreciate the validation from a true "pimchee" aficionado!! 😎
Tom
As a non American I'm not familiar with the content but i appreciate the Saguto edification! 😂
The Pimento Cheese Sandwich is one of the staple items on the Augusta National menu for The Masters. Very tasty and simple to make!

Golf, guitar and sandwich, nice!

@@SagutoGolf Keep ‘‘em coming!!!
Love Masters Week. Made a batch of Azaleas yesterday. Need some pimento cheese sandwiches today.
It is indeed a wonderful spring ritual, Jeffrey! I hope you had an opportunity to make - and enjoy - some tasty pimchee sandwiches!

As I life long North Carolinian I’ll go ahead and say the Stars premium extra sharp pimento is pretty darn good
Appreciate the recommendation!
Gotta fresh shred the sharp cheddar, off the block!!
Absolutely, if you've got the time!
@@SagutoGolf I love your episodes, this one is the best yet!! Ty Saguto for being so cool!’

When you slather the spread, is the weight forward 60-40? Asking for a friend.
I keep the low point of the slathering apparatus consistent while favoring the lead side for a slightly descending application of the shellac.....😎
@@SagutoGolf You are too funny my friend!!
Good video Tom. Looking forward to the next one. Maybe one with you cooking up crispy chicken just like your golf strikes? 😊
