      Thank you very much for the kind words John! I wasn't too happy with my vocals here which is why I tend to compose mainly instrumental scores, but I'm pleased you enjoyed it. Thanks again 👍

    I've watched many of your videos at this point and it was really nice to hear you finally put vocals to one of your tracks! You may have done it previously, or perhaps even after this particular episode, chronologically, but either way it was great to hear it. Keep up the good work.

      Thanks James! I've used vocals on several of my earlier videos, but I tend to do it less these days. Thanks for your nice comments. Cheers, Patrick :-)

    Lovely walk in the North Yorkshire Moors. Used to enjoy watching Heartbeat. Also enjoyed listening to your song. Well done.

    The grand weather made all the difference on this video. The countryside around this part of Yorkshire is mighty scenic, Patrick. Another village where the sheep run freely at Goathland, makes for a very laid back atmosphere. I didn't know that this was the setting for the police series Heartbeat. The pub and the Ford Anglia obviously made history with the series on tv. A most enjoyable film altogether, thank you, Patrick.

      Thanks Ffranc. This was my first time in this part of Yorkshire, so still don't know it well now. Goathland was very much put on the map once Heartbeat used it as a filming location. Thanks again Ffranc 👍

    Gorgeous stunning views, Tyvm for posting. I watched Heartbeat on and off. My late husband was a fan of the show, he would have enjoyed viewing your walks :)

    What a stunning walk,so peaceful and tranquil,especially loved the waterfall,it's an area where I haven't done as many walks as perhaps I should have,always favouring the other national parks,yet one of my favourite ever walks,Roseberry Topping,is in the North Yorkshire moors,I hope it features in one of your films.
    I loved the song,just off to bed after watching this and that will be my ear worm for the night,not that thats a bad thing,it was lovely.
    Thanks for an ace film and twenty minutes of your company.
    Pete.

      This was nice to film as it was Heartbeat country and my first walk in the North York Moors. I can tell you I've not been to Roseberry Topping, but I did make a few more in this National Park. I'm not too happy with my song, not my best piece of music, but I incorporate the theme in better ways in some of the other films. Thanks again Pete for your kind comments and for watching. Cheers, Patrick :)

    Great video as usual, thank you for posting. Goathland is a lovely spot, although ever since Heartbeat, it got really really busy, however I suppose that was inevitable. There are lovely walks to be had in the nearby countryside if you want to escape the crowds!! The walk that goes via Darnholm is a firm favourite of mine!

      Thank you Jeff, this was my first visit to this area so it was quite exciting at the time for me to go filming here. Did a few others in the north York Moors since this one, very nice part of the world. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Patrick :)

      Someone trod on the cat's tail again when I was editing that one!! :-) :-) :-) The North York Moors are generally well known for the purple heather. Glad to hear you've booked a few days in York, so look forward to hearing all about that afterwards. Thanks again for watching Frank and Lee. Cheers, Patrick :-)

    Great video, thank you! I thought Mallyan Spout was somewhat over rated though. It's a long treck over pointy boulders to get to and when I went it was nothing more than a trickle. I suppose you need a few days of rain to see it at its best. The village itself is lovely though!

    • @solitaryrambler
      @solitaryrambler  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comments. I do remember the walk to Mallyan Spout being quite tricky too with all those boulders. If I recall correctly there had been rain the day before I was here, so the waterfall was perhaps at its best at the time of my visit. Many thanks again for commenting and for watching. Cheers, Patrick :)
