Just got the game today, have not played yet but I guess the way to go for very new players is human hybrid, try all the weapons and spells then decide on a re-roll to specialise?
Just keep in mind that even with heavy armor training you'll need a +% armor weight trinket or tone down the padding on a piece to wear a full set of steel/silk.
ecumenical has the two single target healing spells and purify for taking off corrupts and stuff. i think elementalism has an aoe healing too. but resurrection is only available from spiritism which is ridiculously expensive to get and maintain last time i checked. you’ll basically do either a full fat ot skinny old guy to get max mage stats. hope that helped 🤘🗿🤘
@@fozmelli resurrection and even mental projectile investment into spiritism is actually some of the easiest to get and cheaper than even some ecumenical spellscrolls. Its the portal and spiritfarming in the ether thats expensive. so you can be a spiritist who is able to resurrect people just fine. plus, mental projectile is one of the better single target spells for when you need to chunk someone's hp off
Thursar is fantastic in duels and in melee PvP, and deal more damage than oghmirs, they're just very big and take a beating from magic. Oghmir are more defensive and harder to hit, so I think they're a little better, just my opinion tho :)
@MedievalMarty I agree that they're bigger and draw more fire but you don't have to go max size to get the most out of a Thursar. The Thur-khur or Thur-tind is pretty nasty and has plenty of points to make for decent magic defense in psy. The oghmir is more susceptible to magic then any Thursar. I have also found Oghmirs tend to be less flexible when it comes to changing of their builds later.

Not much has changed so builds should be pretty much the same. Only thing ik that changed is heavy daggers have much less of a weak spot chance. And if you want pure dmg for a melee weapon I think 2 handed hammer or axes. Just kinda slow.
With low psyche they defo take a ton of damage from magic, but because you’re so small, you’re harder to hit. Any spare points can go into phy tho to get abit more resistance :)
Necromancy is expensive to get into, so it's generally not recommended for a new player just because of the amount of gold required. It's likely you'll recreate your first character a few times until you get a feel for the game and the playstyle you want too, so it can be a waste of time and gold. But if you want to try it, do it, it's a sandbox game so play however you want. I'd recommend joining a guild who can help you learn the ropes, farm gold and escort you to places you need to go to learn certain skills.
Finishing a death knight can be expensive, but getting all the good spells isn't so bad. The most important spells would be: Death hand, Aug surge, Akh bond, Walker, Strong walker, control+command undead, and sacrificial Eruption. From those, only Death Hand, Aug surge and Akh bond are a bit expensive, around 50-90g each. The other ones on this list are much cheaper. The other fancier spells such as Greater Walker or Miasma aren't needed. I personally like my death knight. And being able to heal yourself with magic while being a footie makes the game feel so much easier. I have rituals in my build.
If your insisting on that, I would do a paladin first and transition into a death knight when you get enough money. Also being a human, you can swap into other builds as well. For beginners I would say that Ogmir footie is your best bet. Essentially get 3 HP bars if you remember to drink your potions and use your clades.
If you’re playing a human with the cleric clade gift - you can have upto 6kg of armour. So padded ranger gear with some sort of scales are good. But that requires you to spend points in armour training. Some people, don’t take any armour training and just ride in rugged garments made of something like like silk or some other textiles. Upto you which of those play styles you prefer

can u make a video where u " show " race, points for the best outcome in beeing a healer ? LIke the best build for healing only? i know is all hybrid in this game , but..how to maximize the most out of healing. I'll do my best to help, and let me know if you have any questions: If you want to make a PURE healer with the biggest heals in the game, you need to be fat (obese) and old (age 62) as this gives most intelligence. It isn't the easiest to play as you are pretty slow. At the character creator you want to make your character you do the following: Race: Human (Sidoian) Height: Minimum height (170cm) Weight: Maximum weight (bulging) - you can eat food once you get in game to push this even higher to obese Age: 62 and put all the rest of your starting points into intelligence. There are many other options for a healer, such as a fast sheevra mage, tamer mage etc. But this one is just a pure healing machine that can pump out massive heals in groups. I started a skinny human since t i saw very little difference between obese and skinny, maby is a bug or something, or maby is just a new update. I spent 2 days now in haven killing over 200 zombies and crafting and useing spels and sword , learning the very basics, reading books to improve... I just keep worying about the points system, they keep adding themselfs and going over and some more questions that come from probably " overthinking" to much some things i guess ^^ . Wish i just knew the mechanics of points from the start to the end of all this possibilities to chose for myself, what i would think is the best way to create the character, the points etc... I can already see it, il have to play for at least a minimum of 500 hours before i know enough as i need and find a few wrong things along the way and most probably restart all over again from 0, cause i do not know if there is a in-game store to buy a change in character creation and avoid starting everything all over from 0 ( that would be something very usefull). Thank you again, i guess tomorow il have to start over again and go from skinny to fat even though the difference in max stats between skinny and fat seem to be low and the sheevra haveing better stats then humans but not the same passives...uhh so many variables and diferences, it gaved me the past 2 days A massive headache arrrr. You’ll be mostly in melee so most people take heavy armour training and wear heavy armour :)

Hah people used to make fun of me for being a dex mage tamer in MO1 and fat mage dominator. That's hilarious that its viable now.
why age 31 not 30? in 31 bunch of stats goes down ie" constitution, health and stam
I think he just made a mistake probly. age 30 for max str. 62 for max int. 23 for max dex without losing con or str.
