Five Facts about the Sumatra Tigers
    5. They are the smallest of the tiger species.
    4. They are endangered, blamed for killing farmers and livestock, are hunted relentlessly with the most cruel of traps - the snare.
    3. There are scientists and research teams trying to save the Sumatra tigers from extinction by providing protection in form of zoos, which to the tigers, is like prison. Some zoos do provide live animals so they don't lose the instinct to hunt. As the intention is to release the tigers once they've produced offspring or been healed from various injuries they've sustained in the wild.
    2. Sumatra has so much forest and land yet humans still want more, and the conflict between wild tigers and the farmers continues. Tigers seem to be blamed for everything.
    1. Despite setbacks and modest successes, there's still hope these creatures will be around for a while. A lot of people spend their lives devoted to saving the wildlife of Sumatra, saving all sorts of endangered animals. Give them a hand if you can. Donations help. Buying less crap helps. Looking where stuff comes from helps. Avoiding the ingredient palm oil helps. And so forth. I know it’s complicated. And sometimes one feels: wtf? Is there nothing I can eat or buy? Don’t despair. Just be aware. Every little bit helps.

in Indonesia, our Conservation Agency is really trying to put this Sumatran tiger in captivity, because most of the wild animals are in conflict with the residents. Some of those who have been saved in captivity have lost one leg, are sick, don't trust humans anymore, and so on. So until this moment, our government is still rescuing the Sumatran tiger so that it doesn't become extinct.
Thank you for this documentation 🙏

@@sbtoolman12123 yes, the government (humans) are to blame. Please make sure you understand the context of my comments. Welp, that's that. Basically accusing someone with no proof. To be fair the crops have basically nothing to do with it. It's the poachers and the people who smuggle it to the black market. The fur and skin for carpets selling them for cash. Either way what if they don't buy the particular types of crops. And may YOU know that maybe YOU buy the crops AS WELL! OR if you depend on your parents to buy them, maybe THEY buy them for you to eat.
BUT I'm not trying to start a fight. I'm just stating something that could be possible. It's also true though ALL humans are to blame.

As a song writer and an artist from Sarawak Malaysia. This is the first time I got inspired by a video about wild animals. Somehow the universe opens up and speak to me about something which I have yet to figure it out. Most importantly is HOW can I make a song about the animals.

All is about Energy, Animals sense your energy.
I live in our family ancient inherited private lands and wild tigers are around me and they will never attack me even my bedroom has half wall and no windows always open 24 hours even when I sleep.
Tiger attacks as they're angry to brainless greedy human has taken their home! but not with me/us like our Ancestors we live in harmony with nature.
Not even single wild animals has ever attacked me/us and will never be. Even some lost wild snakes any size often asked for my help when they got lost into environment of those call them selves human.
Our Ancestors were one with nature but today materialistic world with over greediness has ruined the harmony. Not nature of real Indonesia but nature of other parts of the world.
Today majority of Indonesians aren't native but their ancestry from abroad and not caring about environment at all, their ignorance and so called being religious but not understanding their own religion as they don't speak the language of the religion never care for our home but only destructive and not thinking of the present.
And Palm Oil tree isn't native to Indonesia but Africa and the tree is not good to the water, soil and other trees around it, not with Coconut native to Indonesia, Coconut isn't harmful plants but indeed Palm oild trees are harmful.

Many years ago I was at the Manila Zoo and never left the tiger enclosure for two hours, because that tiger needed a friendly soothing voice to hear, in the end after two hours the tiger can to the front of the cage to check out this person that won't go away as all the others do.
