Такая отдача, такая энергетика, драматургия - невероятно завораживает. И плюс потрясающий, космический вокал - красивый тембр, мощь и нежность одновременно, множество переливов и акцентов, совершенно не человеческие возможности дыхания, такая способность резонировать звук внутри себя, что вибрации голоса запредельные просто, на протяжении всего исполнения. Это выступление одно из самых ярких в палитре красок Димаша.

Dimash speaks fluent Russian..Kazakhstan is between China and Russia. He has by now had many concerts in Russia and China and is beloved all over the world!!! He has 150 fan clubs and growing...in 120 countries) If you ever get the chance to see him on "The World's Best" performances in the US (his first trip to the USA) They used him badly as an advertisement (Hook) to get people to watch the show and copped up his performances unmercifully... for one reason because he was so much better than everyone else it would have been NO contest...he would have won hands down. AS it turned out on his 3rd performance he stepped out of the competition giving up a 1 million dollar prize to let the children go forward. In his culture adults don't compete against children because it isn't fair and he didn't feel good about having 20 years of experience over the children (they were only 10 years old). A man of honor and integrity!!! We fell much more in love with him because we saw the grace and beauty in his heart. The judges were mean to him for quitting because he was really making the show popular around the world, but he specifically asked and the specifically told him he would Not be competing against children and when he found out they lied to him and met the children he stepped out of the competition giving the children a chance to win!!! May God bless his continued success!!! Please react to his concert in Arneau "Ogni Pietra"...The "Futureskills" concert he did in Asia and the rest of this "Singer" competition in China. Please watch his concert in the Mount EMEI festival. Just Bing Dimash in the rain...He got choked up for the fans and nearly cried because he was so overwhelmed with the love they showed him...also he refused an umbrella (it was pouring rain) because his fans were getting rained on and he wanted to be with them...sooooo sweet.Read more Show less

He has a degree on piano playing, one of his first won compitions as child, was a piano Competition. He is really good. He is a Multiinstrumentalist, but I think on the piano is the most professional.

I rather think that his greatest talent lies in his ability to surrender to the music, to surrender to the lyrics, to experience them himself hyper-intensively ..... and then the miracle happens - the music itself chooses what techniques are needed to express it, and they happen on their own, and for me Dimash is nothing less than the perfect and sincere conductor who, with all his love, indulge his talent, his mind, his heart, and labor, to the Music. And to all of us. P.S Kudaibergen 2nd name of Dimash literary means = Kudai (God) + bergen (given) = "given by God"!

Impressive, he was placed first in this episode 6. The next episode 7 he sings Kazakh folk song "Daididau". Watch it from Gloria Wu channel. He love swimming and does his breathing exercises underwater. And he does vocal training for 3 hrs everyday. As you know, he can play 7 instruments. He did all the 14 episodes except ep. 11 as he directly went to semifinals to ep. 12. Thank you.

Watching your reactions brings me back to those days that I have discovered Dimash and how I was always blown away every time he's on stage. Awesome reaction to Adagio, really great video. I think he very nearly got you at the end of that song! Several of his songs made me cry first time round, for many I didn't have lyrics as I was a bit impatient for people to translate as I didn't want to wait I just watched as soon as I could haha. Still had the same effect which to me is just so impressive. As much music and as varied music styles I've listened to, very few have made me cry purely due to the song.
Usually if I had cried during a song it would be more about how I already felt before I turned the music on (e.g if I was sad and close to tears already and turned a sad song on of course it would make me cry) but I have never, from what I can remember, ever cried purely because of a song.
Even if I'm super happy I can suddenly burst into tears during a song of his (the sad ones ofc) but by the end of the song it's like this cathartic release. So I go into the song happy, cry during it and then leave happy. Really bizarre never experienced that with any other music or musician.

@@MasterofVoice it is truly special. I'm amazed that even with all his technical prowess and octaves on octaves of secure range, I mean from what I've listened to he sounds so comfortable throughout, wouldn't be surprised if his tessitura went from bottom to top of his pitch.
But after all that, in a recent interview (when interviewer was pushing for an answer on what his lowest and highest notes are and generally gushing about how special having 6 octaves is) he turns around and says something along the lines of the octaves being simply tools that allow him to take his listeners away from the burden of their own day to day lives even if it's just for a few minutes. Not word for word but near enough, I get that he's very humble but that is a wonderful way to look at your own voice as a performer I think, especially one as well trained as he is who could very easily get arrogant about it and not train further or try to convey emotion. And yet every song that requires it is full of emotion and the happy songs are just as committed to as the sad tear your heart out ones.

yaaay, Adagio is one his signature songs on this show, he put his whole heart and soul into this performance. The next one is Daididau and I recommend watching the backstory including the history of his country (so many similarities to the history of my country) which is so important for him and for the lyrics of this song, you can find it on Gloria Wu's channel of course together with translation of the lyrics.

I know people have been waiting & that she has a break in her world tour that she can attend his birthday concert & that MY LOVE Dimash is definitely going to be there but I didn't know whether it would happen. Dear Andy I was so happy when I saw new reaction to Dimash today and first I liked and then listened. Daididau is the next song :) it's a Kazakh song so he's in traditional clothing with traditional instruments too. If you watch the Gloria Wu video for the background info please watch the full singer episode video for the song as unfortunately due to copyright issues at the time Gloria's video has multiple cut scenes masking his performance and several seconds of the song have been cut out completely. I will try to find a link with lyrics so you could watch the Gloria Wu background story and then switch to the song if you wish.
If not then the background story is from the 1930's when Kazakhstan was suffering through "The Great Terror". A leader who had inspirational ideas and had been a forceful presence was imprisoned and labeled a dissident. While he was locked away he was informed that his wife had left him, which was not true. He wrote a poem expressing his love for her and begging for an explanation and to be able to speak to her once again to express his sorrow and find out what had happened. Unclear whether he ever managed to discover the truth but he was executed before ever being released.
I will go look for a lyric link now just in case you would prefer to see the full performance without the images hiding his stage performance occasionally during the song, again I guess this was done to protect from copyright when this was an issue back in the day. Be back momentarily with a link
I cannot for the life of me find a lyric video that goes with the song that doesn't have the cut scenes. It's of course up to you re which version you watch but I would suggest behind the scenes with Gloria Wu eng Sub as it does have a bit of an interview with Dimash too if you switch the subtitles on then maybe switch to the singer episode for the performance itself. The lyrics speak of him writing this poem/letter to his wife, comparing her beauty to the Moon and questioning if he'll ever get to tell her about his sorrow. Later speaks of wishing not to break their promise/vow to each other. Along the lines of please let it not be true that you intend to leave me but if you must at least let me divulge my sorrow and indulge in your beauty one more time kind of thing. Several of the verses are repeated as it is based on a poem but I also can't seem to find a full translation online that everyone agrees is accurate so that's also tricky. Either way I'm sure you'll like the song I just think the cut scenes may interfere with seeing how he behaves onstage and also some audience reaction plus with bits of the song removed it just is a different experience I'd say.

Dimash is multi instrumentalist.....composes and arranges songs too....though nowadays he hardly has time to do much of either......nowadays most of his songs were arranged by his close friend Erlan.
