Thank you, amazing performance in spite of him being quite sick. Dimash lost his voice again after that performance; took a couple of weeks to recover. Dimash performed this at his Bastau Concert, and it was an amazing performance with his full vocal power. It is on his Official TH-cam Channel.

Димаш выглядел действительно не здоровым, но собрал в кулак свою волю и выдал шикарнейшее исполнение этой трагической песни. И более всего меня поразила реакция его конкурентов - они так искренне переживали и болели за Димаша, как братья и сестры, как родные люди! Очень мне понравились китайцы и певцы, как люди, умеющие оценить такое явление мирового искусства как Димаш. Ведь без Димаша это соревнование потеряло бы свою престижность и ТАКОГО певца.
Я люблю видеть, что его конкуренты болеют за него! У него все получилось, и я очень хочу услышать, как он поет это в других выступлениях. Спасибо за ваш пост!
Так мало того, они ведь его лечили. Терри Лин возил его в дорогую клинику, где его осмотрел врач и сделал уколы. А другой конкурсант дал ему очень дорогостоящие капли, которые стоили баснословные деньги и тем самым помог ему достойно выступить. Есть сюжеты об этом. Поэтому они и переживали, так как у Димаша ещё держалась температура. Все были в шоке от его бойцовского характера.

I've heard a number of people report that after this song he went backstage and was in a lot of pain in his throat. The doctor had told him no high notes. Obviously, he couldn't resist. I hope you will watch him perform this song at his Bastau concert. You will be blown away at how much better he sings this. It's really quite amazing! Please don't miss that. You might even want to react. A few reactors watched both during the same session. I enjoy your reactions very much!

Barbara Saracini I totally agree. Bastau version of Daybreak is absolutely heart breaking, so powerful, so out there, with raw unlimited power and emotions, plus he performed on a large stage with all light effects in the background which accentuates his performance even more.

Chinese people welcomed him so well , he had such a fun backstage. They named him Little Imported Brother, hahahaha, as he was youngest of all contestants ( just 22). They made tons of talk shows with him, engaged him in advertising , they arranged a meeting with his favorite actor Jackie Chan . There is a video of that, Dimash was like a kid, sooooo excited :)))

This song is very emotional.. I've watched it many times and always cry.. Dimash also sang this song during the concert..and better than this video..but I guess when he was sick or not his voice was still amazing😍😍😍
Maybe it is because we are women but I also cry every time to this & Autumn Strong & I cry when I beg reactors to watch this version with story & they get talked into skipping it to watch Bastau & they react while smiling or laughing & 1 man was actually cheering. It was like a knife to my heart.

His voice issue actually continued right up to going on the stage -- he couldn't really speak, and was so nervous because he didn't know if he would be able to get any sound out to sing at all. Not positive, but I would imagine that, due to all his extreme attention to training [he still trains vocally every day for about 3 hours] that he relied on muscle memory to help get him through... And, as we saw, even though he couldn't talk, his 'Performer' skills [he has such an innate desire to please his fans and audience] automatically kicked in... Now, though he barely showed it, he did confirm in an interview much later that his throat was in agony during the performance -- but his desire not to let the audience down helped push him through it.
It wasn't until after he turned the corner into the hallway after leaving the stage area [i.e. away from the views of the fans] that he dropped his smile and grabbed his throat in pain. He honestly is one of those dedicated performers who gives everything to his audience, and sincerely believes in "The Show Must Go On"

Singer show competition is a really tough competition. It's a very long show from mid January to mid April. 14 episodes. One episode each week. That means the singer has to choose songs and work with the other musicians to nest deliver the song. It's fun to watch because this show forces the singer to step out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves for something new each week. Because we all know that audiences can get bored if you perform something repetitive each week. Dimash was the only foreign singer in the show but all the other contestant treated him like their little brother and gave him a lot of support. He formed some really great friendship with them.

Dimash is just another dimension! Well, all of us are already aware of the technical parameters of his vocal, the different techniques and the different styles he uses, there is almost no vocal expert who did not try to explain, to dissect the miracle we are witnessing. But I want someone to explain how this boy manages to get his voice straight into our souls, to mix our emotions into a total mess, to make us feel as never intense exactly what he wants us to feel.
He's the total package of vocals and heart. His talent, stage presence, and character are the true "triple threat" of excellence!
I thing it is because he becomes the song. He doesn't sing. He narrates story. In fact the vocal range is not important. Tones are used as tools to made the story of the song alive by him. And as a believer I feel he is used by Allah to open hearts of people to ultimate beauty and bring people together despite big differences. His audience is quite diverse - people from nations who are rivals for centuries are united with his music.

Dimash definitely hits a part of our brain that makes us unable to turn away. He becomes a vessel of the beauty of each story the songs share. His passion, his dedication, his skill all produce this amazing performance that make us love this lovely young beautiful young man. This performance is just that, a visual, auditory masterpiece that I will love forever.

I’ve probably have listened to this song a hundred times. Brings tears to my eyes every time. Knowing how sick Dimash was and still he went out there and sung this song with his whole heart and soul. He is such a perfectionist, and never wants to disappoint his audience, so he perform this even though he was so sick. He said once that even after he had those injections, he still had no voice, but once he went on stage his voice returned, however afterward he once again having no voice. I think the soft breathy quality to his tone does a lot to draw the audience in. It's like a friend confiding in you and whispering in your ear.... there's a bigger level of intimacy.

Yes, kudos to The Singer, it is a very quality show and I became a Fan of the Show and many times I just hear a full episode of it, and all the contestants are very very good. The respect and bonds that the contestants created among them are really good to see. On this episode if you noticed they showed more the other contestants because all were worried about Dimash perfomance. As you said the aftermath of the performance most of the times is more painful after those shots on your vocal cords, and it was the case while singing Dimash was already in pain and lost his voice again. But as he said it was worthwhile because he couldn't disappoint anyone. At his Bastau concert he was 100% and what a performance he gave. But to be true if I didn't knew the background story I wouldn't say that he was ill.

I was pulling up an Episode of the Singer to listen to Dimash but picked the wrong year. It was Episode 8 2018. There is a young chinese singer called KZ singing Real Gone. I really enjoyed his performance. In fact I watched the whole show and was really impressed with all the singers but KZ stood out. I would suggest him for a reaction video.

Thank you so much for your reaction! Dimash is an amazing singer/performer!! I love hearing him sing. Never tire of it. His vocal abilities are out-of-this-world! And I love the quality and tone of his voice... so pure and crystal clear, even when he sings high. He is unlike any singer I have ever heard. Love him! And this song touched me so much, because I lost mom a few years ago. I miss her so much. She made great sacrifices for me and my brother when we were growing up. So I can really relate to this beautiful song... and the way Dimash sings this song... with so much emotion. The way Dimash sings the song, you would think that he was the little boy in the song. Beautifully done!!! I'm looking forward to watching more of your reactions of Dimash. Again, thank you!
I agree so much about him singing as the little boy. It was so touching. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my father in 2002. It still hurts but has gotten a little easier to deal with. Hugs to you!!

The Singer Show was the best singing competition I've ever watched. They featured singer artists with different genres you've never seen/heard. Dimash was able to perform very well inspite that he was sick. He was love by the people. Thank you and welcome👍❤️

Please listen to daybreak from his bastau concert! It’s a fan favourite performance, and you can hear the difference :) and may I also suggest that when you get to his ‘confess+diva dance’ performance on the singer, also watch dimash’s diva dance performance from his bastau concert (it’s 1 and a half min long but definitely worth watching/reacting to) ❤️

@@MasterofVoice you definitely should have a look at his concerts! Either in your own time for just the sheer thrill or some people do his concerts in segments as separate videos. He does such a variety of songs and each concert of the three that are online (Bastau-first concert back in Kazakhstan after the singer show, Moscow -March show very well put together, smaller venue and great dancers and backup vocalists, Arnau- most recent, big stadium in Kazakhstan again lots of massive stage production and beautiful moments with audience etc throughout) are all very different to one another. Even with some songs obviously being done in both Moscow and Arnau- as there was only two three months between it's still a totally different experience. I have rewatched all of them so many times haha

Thanks again Andy for your reaction. It was a cable car accident which caused 14 deaths. The boy was approx. 2 1/2 years old at the time. Han Hong adopted him soon after.

Hi Bud, Thank you for this awesome reaction to Dimash, its a beautiful song, so so sad. It Makes absolute sense what you said about the vocal chord injections because when he got back to the studio from the hospital he wasn't feeling any better but as the day went on he managed to pull his performance off but when he got back to the greenroom afterwards he started coughing up blood ...not good. I enjoyed your comments and hope to see more reactions to Dimash so I have subscribed. 👍👍👌👌😊
