I am a returning player and was very unsure as to what to do progression wise. Have watched a ton of videos. This is the only one that gave me what I needed. Thanks🎉
I recently made a new account on another ship to see what the grind from nothing to level 70 with decent gear was like in NGS's current state. In terms of progression, I think it's pretty straightforward. You get Renaissa pretty much at the start which will carry you through the Aelio story until you get a +49 Evolcoat for free near the start of Retem's story which is very cheap to +60 since it only requires one arms refiner and the game gives you I think 10 for free the same time you get Evolcoat. That +60 Evolcoat is surprisingly very strong and will last you until the start of Stia's story which at that point you will be high enough level and BP to complete Ordinal Tower and get an Obsidia weapon which is decent enough to participate in UQs such as DFA until you get Neos. I don't think it's necessary to pay for or invest heavily in any other weapons since messeta is tough to come by without selling things on the player shop on a new account. Things like upgrading potentials can be particularly expensive when starting out.
Thats the route I would take as a new player. For this progression guide I wanted to make it flexible though so you can choose from a variety instead of just a single path as everyone plays differently or has different understanding on how to upgrade. Trying to reduce the amount of weapons or armor used and how much to upgrade them will help immensely if the player can do so
@@flcd_ They are once per account, so if you are leveling an alt character you won't get them. I would suggest going for one of the other options at that level range I mention in the video instead
I lucked out and got a good +50 Rugged Rod with lvl 4 potential and lvl 2 fixa fatale a few weeks ago for 500K, so I recommend to keep checking the personal shops, or just buy a good weapon for 1 million, there's a lot out there, probably easier than trying to get one yourself and should have more than 1 mil from doing weeklies and story quest rewards
Its nice to be able to find some great hand-me-downs from other players. Hard to recommend them for a guide like this though because it is completely random on what may be in the market for each Ship
Just use event weapons. Use renasia til they give you evolcoat, use that til you can get an old event weapon like crystia for 1k. People sell old gear for pretty cheap, too.
So like I am lvl 50...and I was using a double blade weapon lv 50 but now I want to use a rifle (returning player) what rifle should I am to invest in?
From lv1 to lv70. Renaissa weapon max upgrade and augs... Obsidia weapon max upgrade and augs... Infernium weapons... Neos A... Renaissa Units Sestato??? Units... I forget the name. Efitus Units... Ajax or the blue units before Ajax was released... I would out in Codek for the in between weapon at lv30 to lv40. But a fully uograded Renaissa can carry you through those levels. Units are more important than weapons from lv30 to lv40.
I did not want to recommend any temporary weapons as the Trunkul won't be available forever pre-upgraded but for sure take advantage of the seasonal event

Are the Evolcoat weapons once per account? I got them for my main/sub class weapons on the first character but the second one got nothing.

The game never gave me my evolcoat weapons after retem I feel cheated

I'm ostensibly at "end-game" and am still using a Trois weapon because I don't have enough arms refiners IIs to limit break my neos weapon.

All weapon series shown have every weapon type in their series. So you would choose the same as you would a double blade or any weapon

Me using free Renaissar weapon until lv70 and switch to kouklophis weapon.. lol

in my opinion renaissa series is very good untill you aquire a level 7 weapon.
